PTH at the GOATs
jkteddy77 i will listen to them they kinda inspired me to
What’s super awesome is that most of these people just bought the shirt for an awesome memory or because they liked that bands set. To me that’s the most important thing a musician can do is make an impact or memory for someone
can you name 3 protest the hero songs?
*proceeds to layout their entire discography, including special appearances, bonus tracks, underground collabs, etc.*
dude he named their subscription service
That was fucking nuts... Lol
Now HE "deserves" to wear their merch :D
Protest the hero needs to make that guy a special shirt
@@alexgrey7972 agreed
The protest the hero guy warms my cold elitist heart

That guy fucking killed it. He had facts and dates and names... he should be on metal jeopardy. I wish someone would ask me about my band shirts 🤘🤘skol
Isn't that this friend Zesty?
i think Jared Dines field reporter should be a regular thing.

The "protest the hero" guy is so enthusiastic and wholesome about the band he loves. That's so adorable :) He made me want to listen to their music :D
You could stand outside of Hot Topic and do this all day.
These days. Back in 2010-2012 hot topic was poppin with metal heads
Done it
@V eesel Why were you inside of a Hot Topic?
Stand outside if hot topic and do a 90 degree emo dab!!!! (Yes I am literally making a crank that frank reference)

Plot twist........
"Protest the hero" guy is actually the bass player for the band.
bruh
@@brandon5020 it was a joke.
Plot twist, he named the wrong record with Chris Adler...yike
And the OP didn't know about it? But calls people out on their knowledge of music? That's gold.
@@swiinka you must not watch Jared Dines very often, the video is all in good fun, he meant no harm. Also in case you forgot, this is RUclips, not Reddit, and the comment was obviously a joke lmao
This is why I like buying band shirts when I have been listening to their music for a while. Gotta be like the Protest the hero guy.
Protest the hero guy came with a full essay when the teacher only asked for one sentence
We should all aspire to be the Protest The Hero guy.
My man really did just present a whole protest the hero track list
@@brandon5020 no he isnt that one comment was making a joke
Moosegooseoof he kept saying “they” when referring to the band so probably not
More like discography 😂
YES!!! The world needs this video! I'm 60 and back in the 1980s you could actually make friends by the band t-shirts they wore; it was a true connection. Then a mere 10 years later (and a sad trend still today) people started wearing band shirts to be "cool." I stopped approaching people because of their band shirts because you can't trust them. Keep up the great work. More please!! :) :) :)
Too bad no one had a Metallica shirt on:
1. The Unforgiven

CrazyJimmi9 I’m gonna use “Gacked to the tits” from now on. I can’t stop laughing at that

I do agree with the ‘Bless The Fall’ guy, he loved the show and bought a shirt, straight up honesty
Same here. Ive bought shirts for an opening band that i'd never heard of prior. Liked their set, liked the shirt, wanted to support them, but didn't end up listening to them much in the long run. I'd still rock the shirt though
Its disgraceful I'm 12 and can do a better job naming songs

i’d purposefully wear a panic at the disco shirt near this guy just to name three outlandishly long titles
Meanwhile the guy wearing an AxCx shirt:
I can guarantee if I wore a shirt by a band who I knew 10+ songs from, I wouldn’t be able to answer on the spot
It’s simple. Just actually be a fan of the band before wearing their merch.
@@micahwright5901 yeah I guess, but ill feel weirded out if a stranger just came with a mic and camera asking me to name songs from the band on my shirt. Maybe if it was a relative, but I personally don’t feel comfortable even BEING on camera much less talking into mic.

when you're put on the spot a certain part of your brain that manages decision making/recall shuts down- its normal.
Honestly, my only issue with band t-shirts is when I see someone wearing a band I like and try to start a conversation about it and they’re like, “oh, I don’t actually listen to them”
@Foxglove it sounds like a great idea, I'm glad you've made a friend that way! I've tried that method before and they usually look very disinterested (which of course makes me feel bad), but I'd be willing to give it another try :^)

A person once told me that bout my blink-182 shirt and because I feared she thought I didn't knew the band and didn't told me, I came back to her later and told her why she said it. She said she liked the band so I told her to name her fav album, she couldn't, so I asked her if she could name an album, and she couldn't either, because she just "liked them", not even any songs either.
Should’ve gone to a policeman and said to name 3 The Police songs
