Great vid review!!! One question, if you know the answer (Insta's site seems vague on it). Can it run while plugged into power to keep it running beyond normal battery lifespan?
Thank you!! So I didn’t actually test it like that, but I think the answer is yes? Though I guess I can’t say 100% that’s fully the case. But if I remember correctly, I think that could be an option!

So just a heads up on the "ground to air" and "ground to ground". I've been working with a certain company to update some street views in my town and I want to run along the border wall. There are parts where I have it hanging from the bottom of a helicopter and managing the shots from the ground (ground to air). I'm not rich enough to afford a drone that can carry 5.5kgs (12lbs) LOL. The farsight is great to manage the shots from the ground with the insta hanging from the helicopter. I also have it mounted on the top of my side by side at points as most of my town doesn't have paved roads (ground to ground). If I had a bot or remote controlled car, I could manage the camera from a set distance away as to not interrupt/insert myself in the shots. I don't have that. :)

I have for months record enough time on it in 11K that I must carry 2 Batts all time with me, I even had to plug the batts to the car sometimes to have a recharged battery in the go (of course I am talking about the Titan) I was shooting a long project, and if you have that camera you probably are shooting something big, I do recommend to have a monster of a computer for the post on those files.
get a ifootage quickrelease sestars Q1S, it will make your life easier with that camera
For me I never use the farsight I found it very annoying I prefer to do it manually is faster, and trust your tests on the camera I haven't had a single problem with shootings manually I do recommend to put half camera in shadow and half in sun in order to get the best exposition on it, it depends what you are doing, I am shooting nature and that is the best way to shoot, some times you’ll have just sun in the desert, or snow just leave it under the sun or make a take under the sun and another under half sun and hals shadow from trees will make your life easier,
Change the tripod it makes me nervious just to watch you using those legs with a 15,000 camera (not to mention the 9 sd cards) I have the benro Mammoth with ball head for that camera is way better
also I stopped using the antennas for almost all, just wifi when I need it, the GPS antenna is unreliable, try to download the GPS coordinates, there is no way
also the mic on the camera is a fantastic VR mic, that is it, is not for news, for that I recommend you to use a DJI mic or something similar out of the camera, if you use the mic on the camera turn off the vent it will give you about 5 mins it depends on the heat and the sun, but is for recording the ambient sounds in 3D sound and is fantastic,

Awesome! Glad you got that to work. Yeah, unfortunately 360 content is tough. The best place to start would be to offer it to real estate company’s to showcase homes in a unique way.
Did you try it on a moving vehicle?
Was there a setting option for ISO or Shutter speed? (I need to be able to set the shutter minimum for at least 1200 for slow driving or 2500 for a bit faster driving. (I hate blur).
I didn’t actually try it on a moving vehicle. But if I remember correctly I was able to shoot in a Manuel mode where I could adjust the shutter speed and ISO on my own. I agree that if you’re using it on a vehicle you’ll wanna be able to have a high shutter speed!
there is, I made a lot of tests on that issue the best way to use this camera is below 400 iso (i prefer 100) and 30fps is the best setting, but has to be exact 30fps not 29.97 it a strange camera is shooting with frames is not like a motion picture camera is a different camera, but I did all the tests for it somewhere on my channel.
