I have the original Flow which is great for my needs. Using it in Live mode enables tracking with other camera apps so you don't need the IOS NFC facility.
Many complain about its limited tilt range, but my workaround is to use the gimbal sideways and when lifting/pointing up it uses the rotate axis to do the equivalent of tilting.
Agreed. I see no reason here to upgrade from by Flow.

Hello, I have a question. Is it possible to record videos in HDR with the Flow Pro as you can now use the normal camera. With the normal Flow this was not possible or ?

Can you tell me more about the size of the 360° photo? Is it any beter than an X3 or X4 regarding to resolution, stitching and exposure? Is HDR possible? Is it possible to save the pictures and to stitch those in another 3rd party program?
Are there many stitching errors in the 360° photographs? I used to get a lot of errors with the original flow so I quit using it.
@SiHorrocks did you had the gimbal in hand while you cycling in this shot or mounted on the bike ?

Always love your reviews, very comprehensive. One challenge I find with most smart gimbals and their software is the AI tracking isn't smart enough to position the face in the appropriate top third of the screen, they often put your face in the center of the screen which looks weird. Did you find this to be a problem with Insta360 Flow Pro?

I can’t get an answer from anyone - perhaps you will. In your video I see a magnetic clamp for this gimbal. On their website or anywhere to buy the Insta360 Flow I see NO mention of this magnetic clamp, only the traditional claw clamp. Does that plate come with the insta360 flow? If so is it included with either bundle? Or is it a separate add on?

@@QuicknStraight yup, they emailed me a link. I ended up ordering it mainly for the advanced tags and quick setup. Tracking on native apps will have its advantages of gimmick variants like DJI and its smart watch capabilities.

the Rode Wireless setup allows you to record directly to the transmitter as a standalone recorder

I don't think the added features make it worth me upgrading from my current Flow. The only thing I would consider adding is probably the MagSafe mount, except that's an outrageous $24, so I won't bother with that either.

That tripod looks breakable
it's a little wobbly, but I've never broken one. Also, if you prefer you can buy mini tripod legs for about $2 that screw into the bottom, like other gimbals s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlO0fjV
I bought a set of aluminium tripod legs to screw into the 1/4" mount on the bottom. Very sturdy and useful for a bit of added real estate for my big hands!
The handle is way too short, the extension too. And with a smartphone attached the too short handle causes pain in your hand. I tried the InstaFlow and honestly who did come up with that stupid design?
