Hazbin Hotel has some of the most interesting character designs in animated series’. As the series takes place in the afterlife, many of the angels and demons we see in the series have unique appearances that relate to their lives as humans or the powers they wield. A fun component of the narrative is that these characters have numerous forms, from their everyday looks to their wrathful true forms, which usually only appear when in dire need! Some of these appearances expand on the characters’ story and show what they’re capable of! In this video, we’re discussing who has shown their true forms and what they look like.

Angel starts to show his true form during his argument with Husk. Then he hit his head but it does reveal he actually has 6 arms and his "freckles" are actually extra pairs of eyes.
He also shows the eztra set of arms, although not the dots being eyes, in the pilot. It is speculated that, besides cannon reasons, his regular form has fewer arms to make him easier to animate
His extra arms are also shown in the other scenes in the series. When he is being Uhh filmed, towards the end you can see his arms being tied while his extra pair is free but shows his true feelings. Another scene where he and Husk gun down a bunch of dudes, he also gets his extra pair out. I think during the loser song, he also retracts his second pair (to seem more human?)

Is it only me😭, but i sometimes catch when vaggie is very angry, her bow curles and it looks like a demon’s horns for a few seconds

I thought Lucifer’s, Emily’s, AND Sera’s full forms were pretty similar which I found cool
Also small detail I really like, at 2:43 (or 2:44) you can see the snake and the apple from Lucifer’s hat represents/or turns into a halo, like the one Emily has with the eye in the middle, but instead it’s in apple lol

I feel like the Seraphims have the angelic equivalent of a demon form, since they are so much more powerful than regular angels - hence why Adam never had one and probably dressed up to compensate. Lucifer is kind of in-between since he got banished. :)

It's his coat, if you pay close attention to where what you think are wings come from, you'll realize that it's just his coat. It would make a nice headcanon though😊

Angel and sir pentious have both shown a little bit of there true form example: in it starts with sorry vaggie and Angel both want to kill sir pentious and you can see angels eyes start blowing neon pink and some other features do as well and for sir pentious when he is about to die he trys to shoot Adam with his death rye so he says to the egg bois FIRE and you can see his eyes glowing red I hope this information helps
actually angels eyes dont glow neon pink in "it starts with sorry" its just something the creator added, the freckles under his eyes are a bit of his true form when angel and husk have a fight and husk says fake agian

I think their clothes change when they transform into their true forms because their clothes are essentially just a mental projection of clothing and are not physical clothing like in the material realm cuz remember they're all just souls so the forms they take is essentially a representation of their soul and their clothes changing is to mirror that at
I love these full demon and angel modes and looks 🤩😈😇🥰, also vaggies wings were not cut off they were ripped off which was why they could regrow unlike her eye

Emily also partially shows her true form when she fights with Sera during you didn't know. Her third eye appears on her halo and the symbol on her dress also turns into an eye. I like to think it refelcts that her "eyes" have been opened to the truth about the extermination.

Alastor is not a deer, he is indeed a wendigo (I may have spelt it wrong) (fyi: a wendigo is a cursed version of a deer. Look it up if you would like)
There's a theory he was killed accidentally by a hunter by being mistaken for a deer
funny references to this include the raw deer carcass breakfast and his association with cannibal town.
Its unlikely lucifer purposefully avoided going to heaven with Charlie. Since he was banished from heaven eons ago, he may actually be chained to hell making it physically impossible for him to leave. Notice how he said "I can't go with you" not "I won't go with you" which signifies he may have wanted to accompany her for her safety, but couldn't

We also saw Stola's true demonic form a few times in HB, for example in Truth Seekers, where he saved IMP from the DHORKS.
We also did see a glimpse of Charlie's demonic form in the first ever episode of HH (the pilot or whatever it's called) where she talked on Live TV about her project, she burst into song and for a split second during her song, she did her demonic form. This could imply that she (and others) can do their transformation from ANY extreme/intense emotions, such as excitement, passion, anger, fear, threat etc.
Funnily enough, I also have a theory that there may be actually three stages to the transformation - a human form, a "humanoid/demon form" and a demon form. Most inhabitants of hell seem to naturally be in their humanoid/demon phase, however in Helluva Boss we see Loona and Stolas both shift into human forms when they go to the overworld. We also briefly see Loona's true demon form (third phase) in Western Energy where she briefly changes when she is injected with the Hellbies shot (this has been speculated that it's out of fear as in a later episode we see a flashback to Loona being adopted and we see that she was going to be put down, so her fear of needles/shots was much deeper).
Generally the more powerful a demon/angel is, the more terrifying their final form is - for example, Mammon is one of the seven deadly sins, and he turns into a terrifying spider like entity in Mammon's Magnificent Midseason Musical, where he threatens Fizz. I also have a feeling that the very very powerful beings, like Archangels, Sins, Lucifer etc. Can't adapt/change further into a human form than they already are, meaning they'll never be able to be fully human looking like say Stolas or Loona managed to get in HB.
We also saw a giant/demonic version of Beelzebub in Queen Bee, where she got pissed (probably in both meanings).
6:35 i wanna note for Vaggie, her wings are different than the ones that were ripped off. That could either be that her original wings were painted to look as such, or her new wings reflect herself or having redeemed herself in the eyes of Heaven. And her eye had changed during her time in hell and never changed back.
Compared to Lute, Vaggie's sclera is more pinkish reddish toned instead of white/yellowy off-white

Just so you know, Helluva Boss is not a spin off, Helluva Boss came out before Hazbin Hotel and it plays in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel

5:51 - Vaggie loses her eye to an angelic weapon, but not her wings. Lute just pulls them off. I assume that's why she got her wings back, but not her eye. Apparently, damage from angelic weapons is permanent. In Helluva Boss, Striker stabbed Stolas in the arm with one, and the wound is still bandaged several episodes later. It might never heal.
I think its cool that creatures in heaven also have horns. Old religious art that had images of god and Moses show them with horns of light and its biblically accurate. When it comes to the idea that he'll creatures have horns is taken from pan. Whose part goat. So if there are actual demons and angels....if they don't have horns, I'll be really dissapointed. That isn’t Charlie’s full form. As you can see with her arm, she can probably transform further.
Note of order. Angel Dust has 2 extra arms he tucks away with guns in hand. He's only ever brought them out for combat in the pilot and in episode 8, but it is technically a transformation
