Hi, Dani. Thank you so much for this pattern. It is amazing. I cant wait to make one of these. There is something about it that I noticed however. When you start to 'purl' from the back on the 2nd row of you pattern to stick the needle from the bottom up. This is not a purl, it is a knit. A purl stitch is when we stick the needle from the top of the loop to grab the yarn out of the loop. A knit stitch is sticking the needle from the bottom of the loop and grab the yarn to pull it down and out. The knit stitch that you did were simple backwards knit stitch. Please let know if you agree with this. I am a beginner, but I observe very carefully as I am really trying to be good at it. Thanks and congratulations on your big success.

I LOVE the way you decreased this hat. It looks so much better than the decrease I learned. Which was to decrease 10 times with equal amounts of stitches in between then a round of no decrease, then 10 decreases, then no decreases. It makes the hats look too round and baggy, which isn’t always a good look for certain patterns.

HI, great tutorial, thank you. Can I have a question? I´d like to add an intarsia to the hat but I am not sure how to knit this specific pattern flat way. I mean if I purl through the back loop wrong side, it will change the pattern on the right side, right?
