There is something very important that you did here and I am really happy to see what you did, even though you did not really stress it. Pulling the extra cord so that the stitches could fit around to the other needle when using a longer circular needle FIXED my problem! I was not able to figure this out until you casually mentioned it. WOW! Thanks. You might might to stress that in your next video.

just some feedback. I loved your seed stitch hat and in fact made 2 for my wife since learning it.
This one though you need to slow just a little the first time doing something as the first row was easy to understand K-K-P-P but when you got to row 2 you were like K-K -P through the back - P through the back.......On that I am totally confused and a little slower motion for the first few stitches would be great on future patterns. I know in my case I just started knitting in November 2021 so am still new to all this and some stitches still a little confusing.
Otherwise thanks my wife loved the first two hats I did using your seed stitch video!!!

Where does it say on the packet the size of yearn ? I am not sure about the size of mine. I know it DK and they suggest needles 4 on the packet ... not sure if I need to do in two threads or use single thread and cast on more stitches ?

This is the equivalent to chunky yarn. In the US the yarn is numbered. You can use two strands of DK.

    Can I use yarn #3,
    4.5mm needles?
    I really like this design!

Hi! Is it possible to use 6.5mm needles for this pattern instead of 5mm? I’m using weight 5 yarn.

Yes you can but you will have to cast on less stitches. The multiples to this stitch is 4. I’d probably cast on 12 -16 less stitches to make up the bigger needle size. Good luck 👍

why did you cast on both needles? I am getting very confused as I have never seen this done

Yes you can. Just use the same size and seam it at the end.

Hi, I only have a 4mm circular needle and number 4 yarn, is that ok or should I add up the number of cast on stitches?
