  • Welcome guys! Please check your gauge before, because the yarn that I am using looks more as medium worsted than bulky.
Learn how to crochet a hat with brim for adult men and women by following this step-by-step tutorial. Feel free to ask questions in the comments and I'll do my best to answer all of them.

This is the best tutorial to make a ribbed hat without having that weird bunching in the top. It almost looks worked in the round without being worked that way. I already made one hat for my husband, and he loves it. Two family members now want one as well.

yoooo my husband loves this hat!!! he hasn't taken it off since i gave it 😎 now one for me 😎
highly recommend this pattern, the shaping technique is super easy once you get used to slip stitching loosely. i know i'm going to start using short row + slip stitching to get the shape i want in other projects. do it!!!

Thank you for this video! I thought I understood how to single crochet but this tutorial proved that I was missing every other stitch! I tried for hours and couldn’t understand how my rows were getting so short after I measured the chain! I got three rows in and had to frog it several times over trying to figure it out! Now I definitely won’t ever forget how to do single crochet and where to insert my next stitch.
It’s 3am now and I’ve just figured out my mistake, so I’m going to start again tomorrow and I’m determined to make this hat. Tomorrow I will have a hat!

Thank you so much for sharing. I hadn't ever seen this version of the ribbed beanie, love it. It's much better than other patterns. Your tutorial was was easy to follow as we. I did make it in blue worsted weight soft acrylic or my oldest son.

Hi, I'm using your pattern right now and am absolutely loving it! I just wanted to point out, your written pattern says: "Row 3: Ch 1, 41 sc blo, 5 sl st blo, 5 sl st, turn." I think you forgot to add "blo" on the last 5 slip stitches. 😁 Thanks so much for such an amazing pattern, this will be my first wearable! ❤️
