    This actually made me take up knitting again after more than 7 years! I'm loving it, especially because I can do it while reviewing for my exams (the fact that it keeps my hands busy helps a lot with the stress). Thank you for sharing this pattern with u!

    I loved this tutorial! I used a thicker wool and it turned out awesome and super warm. Added another colour of yarn from row 48-60 and finished the hat with a yarn pompom (made of the top yarn colour). Turned out awesome and I just want to keep knitting! Thank you :)

      @@shreya3010 sadly I don’t have the specific type of yarn, but it was a 6 in thickness wool/poly blended and I used grey, deep emerald green, and a rusty brown/orange

    Thank you, Crystal and Keith, for your amazing generosity. That yarn looks scrumptious, and it may or may not have influenced me to buy some ice cream this week. I really appreciate a good vanilla ice cream with little specks of vanilla bean.

    The way you knit your stitches twists the stitches causing the stitches to look braided - not sure if this is intentional but i like the effect 😄❤️

    Would suggest every1 bring stitch marker up w/ u but also pin 1 on wool i lost mine and after tucking tail in i don't know where i started dammit tension is too good..i will also put stitch markers or safety pins on every stitch after cast on to line them up perfect when folding rib together i tried spare wool provisional and like her but w/ thinner wool hard to get perfect but my stitch markers saved this hat

    Can we make double knitting by doing one knit stitch and one purl stitch that is 1×1rib, please reply

    • @southerngirlhandmadeknit
      @southerngirlhandmadeknit 3 года назад

      You could definitely do a ribbed brim (but cast on an even number) but if you double it like she shows us in the video, your ribbed brim would be massively thick. I like ribbed brim also but definitely wouldn't do it doubled. This is just my opinion though. I hope to help you since she may be very busy to respond quick. She's always making new beautiful things to share with us. I love everything she creates!

    • @KnitcroAddict
      @KnitcroAddict  Год назад +1

      This is knitted in the round, so no need to purl, just knit all the way around and it creates a stockinette stitch. Not sure if that helps clarify as I’m not sure if you meant knit instead of purl. Let me know if that makes sense or not
