- Today I'm making my grand return to the genre of game reviews by making a sequel to my "30 Great Games" video from last year. This one is on the Wii U and has the title "Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade" and it's probably the worst game on the Wii U.

@@mikadosannoji553 its because they are the same person, because they actually cloned themselves and now theres two, but we dont know who cloned first t3rror or sournale, but hey thats just a theory ( im not saying it ).
This was actually released near the launch of the Wii U in 2012, and, from what I can tell, it was (and still is) a generic party game that was in development for the original Wii, and it felt like it shifted over to the Wii U when it was on the way in. It trades off from the Wii remote to the gamepad to the wiimote with a nunchuck. You can tell that it was obviously made for the Wii, and then painfully shoehorned the gamepad in. It's actually the 2nd worst game on Metacritic, only behind Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

My favorite part of "30 great games: obstacle arcade" is when the Lion guy said "It's great gamin time!" And created 30 great games, certainly one of the greatest games of all time.

Fun Fact: This is the 5th and final game in the Family Party series. The games in the series are, in order:
Family Party: 30 Great Games
Family Party: 30 Great Games Outdoor Fun (the game T3rr0r previously showcased)
Family Party: 30 Great Games Winter Fun
Family Party: Fitness Fun (Yes, they dropped the '30 Great Games' subtitle for this ONE entry for some reason, and it still has 30 minigames anyway.)
Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade (the game featured in this video)
Edit: On an additional note, despite the title, Obstacle Arcade actually has *35* minigames, not 30, with 25 Wii Remote/Nunchuck-based games, and 10 GamePad games. (So, yes, the game's title is essentially wrong in more than one way.)
Edit #2: Based on my own playthrough of the Family Party: 90 Great Games Party Pack (a collection of the first three games on the list above), I can also confirm that Outdoor Fun (but ONLY Outdoor Fun) *also* has more than 30 (mini-)games; 33 to be specific (5 games for all other Areas, but 8 for the Variety Area, the last one you unlock). So the Party Pack actually has *93* (mini-)games in it. Ironic(?).
Edit #3: If ya'll had to pick 1 of the 5 games from this series to permanently have, Fitness Fun is your pick. Yeah, the title is (un?)surprisingly misleading/a misnomer for the most part, and some games are more 'meh'/mediocre than others, but you'll actually get the most worth from this title. The (mini)games aren't *addictive,* but they *are* actually 'fun.'
But why would they even drop the totally accurate and not at all awful “30 great games”

9:40 That minigame is probably stolen from a Wii game called "Wii Party" It's way better than 30 great games and has an actual board. Praise aside the spotlight game was taken from Wii Party, except only 3 lights spawn, so not everybody can pass the round, and there isn't a push feature.
This is pretty random, but I just noticed that you used music from Swordigo in the background sometimes. I used to play that game a lot when I was younger, so this gave me a big nostalgia trip!

The balloon popping game is just a rip off of a mini game from the hit Wii game Pac-Man Party (joking aside, I love Pac-Man Party)
They would have mini games to decide how many spaces you’d move, and one of them is identical to the balloon popping game in the “hit” WiiU game Family Party: 30 Great Games: Obstacle Arcade
I wouldn't call Pac-Man Party a "hit", but it's definitely more playable.

I gotta tell you, Bowser is too OP. He rolls more dice than the other players, and the mini games are just cruel. It tries to be balanced, but ultimately fails.

The only good games were Mario Kart 8/MK8, Super Mario 3D World/SM3DW and Super Mario Maker/SMM cause they're so good that Mario kart 8 got a Deluxe port for the switch but with two item slot thing from double dash, Super Mario 3D World got it's own port with a bonus game "Bowser's fury" and Super Mario Maker got a sequel "Super Mario Maker 2" aka "SMM2"

The funniest part about this for me is that i genuinely used to play this all the time when i was younger. Somethibg abt it was genuinely fun to me. Granted i also didnt really have any of the actually really good wii games as a kid but next to my How To Train Your Dragon game and motherfucking Boom Blox Bash Party this one was pretty decent to little me
