Just a note "The Normal Elevator" started as a GMod map, since a lot of the parts look like they were copied over from GMod as well but not entirely. The map is waaaay older then the Roblox version, so it looks like they at least took the format and made new content for it when they made the Roblox version.

@@endgamerplays valve games are stolen the most because valve wont do anything because they really like people making fan stuff (or community stuff for there games)
If I recall correctly, The Normal Elevator was based on a Garry's Mod "gamemode". It was made a while ago so some of the floors definitely feel - kinda dated.
It's a fun little time capsule.
Does it still have sound? I’m asking this because roblox was being a little shit with audio and sound effects.

Side note: Survive from Coca-Cola Man’s map is actually a ROBLOX Studio starter template, that being the urban/suburban one. Still better than a treehouse in the middle of nowhere.
and at least its not trying to make it a serious game, its definitly a meme game.
to add, the coca-cola npc is a reskin of a really old jeff the killer NPC that was used on those "escape from area 51" games (although not sure if the first appearance was there)

A big reason people scrap roblox as a trash game is because of the absolutely gigantic quantity of games made just for the creators to get quick money off of gamepass.
Although true, Roblox is not a bad game, of course it has its downsides like glitchy physics, but overall Roblox has great games that are made by people with talent that put a lot of effort and passion into the project.
But instead of those great games being the front pages, they end up not being in the book.

It’s worth mentioning that The normal elevator is based off a Gmod map named The Elevator:source.
Man I remember playing The Normal Elevator on my iPad I still have even though the screen has been broken about 200 times and has been droped in water 50 times, I still remember Mr. Cheese and the skeleton dude. You also get coins whenever you pass a level!

Oh my god I remember playing The Normal Elevator and completely mastering every single floor...my stats in that game are insane and I barely play it anymore.

its impossible to have first good impression on roblox without diging, becuse all games on main page are just grind simulators

the sirain cop game used to be so much better. they "fixed" the hitboxes, switched it to baby mode, and changed sirain cop from being a trevor henderson style monster to being a youtube kids creepypasta.
Siren cop's prison isn't really meant to be THAT scary. Because it focuses more on the obby type and some horror elements

Speaking of weird games, i remember Despicable Forces Obby, which was a Sonic Forces inspired obby with a Despicable Me theme and it was EXTREMELY well made, no joke. Sadly the original got taken down, but there is a rehosted version of it, so you can still play it.
The studio who made that game are still making to this day! Their name is Shovelware studios if you wanted to know.

Hey, If you want to play an actual GOOD and sometimes even scary roblox game, I recommend vampire hunters 3, The atmosphere when your the only one left can be quite stress inducing sometimes. (also its just really well made.)

Well, the normal elevator is an older game, which is why it is a little weird.
Normal Elevator is by far my favorite game in Roblox, it's so nostalgic and makes me remember of that good internet era

i have played roblox for a couple years, people say there are good games but they're hard to find, alot of times too short or very grindy
try a game called juke towers of hell, its an obby game and after you try it you will REGRET saying that these obbies are repetitive in that game after you get a few rings/zones you will start to find more very creative towers with very crazy fun gameplay and even small puzzles
