I also picked up the R50 and I really like it! I previously had a Nikon D3200, but all the motor noise drove me crazy! I realize I could attach a mic, but I also needed an upgraded, affordable camera to connect with my Weebil S, which the R50 does nicely. Nice video and excellent points, I also use this as a video camera.
Interesting, i have an a6400 fully rigged out with cine lenses etc. i looked at this as a 2nd camera for a wedding i have upcoming on saturday but i couldn't bring myself away from the XT30 II what do i care if it's recording limit is 30 mins. Its bloody beautiful 🤣 and will probably push me into more photography. Going to collect it now and i can't wait.

The R50 still looks great also 🤣
Nice points, Rav! Insightful stuff. Enjoy the camera! 🙌
Thank you for the kind words! Cheers!
Another insightful video, thanks! What lens are you using with your R50?
Glad you like it! For now I have the kit 18-45mm lens and 24 1.8 RF which I will be reviewing soon!
Helpful video. Thanks.
Thank you mate!

Make a video on how to colorgrade Canon R50 video
what mic you are using ?
Hi! This was shot with Rode Videomic pro
Too bad there's like no lenses for RF-S and Canon doesn't seem to bother
True. The good thing is Sigma releases their Contemporary line for RF-S next month(well the 18-50 2.8 at least for now, with more on the way).
