This is a gift from the heavens for independent filmmakers. Instead of us using DSLRs/MILCs and working with H.264 footage, we can basically shoot like pros on really expensive production cameras but for the same cost as your typical DSLR/MILC.
This is an extremely well-made video. Editing, production value, lighting, script etc. Everything was splendid! And it’s a much-needed video for the community, as there are a lot of things being said about this camera. Thank you!

Dan Dobi Thanks so much ! I don’t know about the 35mm IS but I can tell you that the stabilization works very well with the SB Ultra + Canon 70-200 IS . Autofocus does not work (yet ?) though with SpeedBooster.

SNORKYMEDIA Yup. Same here. If you are a cinematographer first and foremost and care about image quality, this is ahead of the Gh5. If you want a hybrid camera you can trust and take with you for most gigs, than the Gh5 is great!
My conclusion - if you want photo & video, get the X-T3 ; if only video - P4K; if run&gun video - GH5; GH5s in my opinion is out of the game regarding production quality - P4k has surpassed it for less money and more features, also options for higher production quality videos to make (RAW; cleaner HFR ect.) Not to mention, that P4K captures info in MB/s vs GH5 Mb/s, you can do the math.
Wow man, really great content for your sub count (and it being your first video). I can feel the effort that must've been put into shooting, syncing, and editing all the parts together, really liked how you synced some of the shots with the music (which a musician would do, as we pay huge attention to background music), also the mic tests were super useful. There's something though, that I wish more reviewers covered, which is how well the mobile app works as an external screen, as this being a non flip out screen, a phone using the app could make or break the use case for someone like me, and that also means I won't have to purchase expensive external monitors. Anyways, unbelievably great video for a person starting out, best of luck! Love from India.

The sound recording capability just blew up my mind. Even though compared to a ZOOM recorder, BMPCC 4K still sounds a bit muffled, but definitely works for run and gun video capture.

From what I understand, dual native iso doesnt mean 3200 will have no noise, it means the dynamic range resets back to 13 stops.
