sgtmerker2401 No issues whatsoever. This won’t affect the turbo or engine at all. I’ve also had it on a c300 for almost 3 years with no issues. They are reliable and built well. I understand it’s not for everybody and possibly not even for me. It’s just a cool sound. Lol
Hey man, just installed the part, but it doesn't quite sound right, I hear a weird fluttering with the blow off sound, dosent sound so smooth like yours does. Any ideas what it may be? Or is it normal?
sgtmerker2401 take it completely apart. Check the black rubber O ring on the blow off valve - if it’s Not that check the stock spring on the stock blow off valve and see which is the issue. Also check the hole to see if anything is sitting in there as it is a blow off not an intake.
Joey There’s definitely a difference. But I put it this way - will I lose power when venting ? Maybe - Maybe not. The car will run richer, you will lose a little performance maybe 1-2%. As I drive the cars day in and day out I feel as though when you are doing slow speeds it’s definitely noticeable. But if I’m doing anything above 75-80 mph the top end gains something performance wise. So it’s like cancelling out itself on the top end and losing on the low end of the range.
@@autodacorsa Thats interesting. I just did an install of a BOV today and I was honestly hoping for a little more throttle response- but so far nothing that I can tell. I haven't had my C300 long, but from what I can tell the throttle response and turbo response are not as strong as some other similar cars. My other car is a Lincoln MKZ with a similar sized and rated 2L 4 cylinder turbocharged engine. I have to say fords "eco-boost" set up has a TON of pull, extremely sensitive and responsive throttle reaction and when you have it up anything over 3000 RPM the turbo/intake/engine ROARS. Anyone that has a Fusion Sport or newer MKZ will know what I'm talking about. When I got this C300 I bought it sight unseen and had never actually driven one of these cars and I'm really truthfully sort of disappointed by the throttle response, turbo reaction time, pull, and turbo sound in general. Hence the beginning of all the mods I plan to do starting with the BOV. I almost wonder if Ford is using a bigger turbo or better deigned turbo that Merc. or something. I never expected in a million years to be more impressed with a Ford product over brand like Mercedes now that I own both I'll tell you which ones more fun to drive- and its not what you'd expect ;)

If anything it will be definitely above 3000 to 4000 RPM for any type of significant gain which I’m gonna put at 0 to 1%. The problem is Mercedes were more focused on fuel efficiency than performance even tho they label the c300 as a “sport sedan”. The pros of the car is that it looks great the interior looks great. It will crack everybody’s neck. But is it gonna beat a bmw 330 or 335 or 340 ? No. It won’t beat an MKZ or a fusion sport. This is why I got rid of the car and bought a GMC SUV with a V6. Last month. It just doesn’t pay when the Americans are doing a better job with power.
Reason with Stephen hey I also just switched my v6 Ford Taurus and it has more pull and roars more than the C300. The C300 throttle response lags a little bit in my opinion but it’s not too bad either.
@@Sam-j4p1t USA c300, e300, glc300 and slc300 only come in one variant M274. Which is a 4 cylinder turbo. M276 is a twin turbo v6 - which is easy to see this is not an AMG model c43, e43, glc43 et.
GaryXu high speed heading toward 80-132 mph there’s a slight difference but it might just be the intake. As soon as you hit 133 mph to 145 mph there’s no difference all the way to 155 mph

You send him your vin and he will mail you the OBD port flash and boom you’re in business. Just message him on eBay. Tell him what you want. He will say if it’s possible or not. But limiter removal is easy.
@@autodacorsa I just looked at the motors and they’re the same except yours looks a little longer in length mines wider.. & the air intake pipes are on opposite sides. I’m a complete noob when it comes to this does any of that stuff matter? I mean I just don’t know if the 2020 c300 engine is any different from yours in this video... I’m trying to figure it out. I don’t want to order the BOV, & then it doesn’t work/fit

Sorry I’m never on here. After a while the stock blow off valve needs to be replaced and not only that it just sounds better. PCV valve is not the same. I had both replaced on this. PCV valve - warranty and blow off valve myself.
GOHADO FEUD FUSE Minimal at best performance wise. It’s basically for a nice blow off valve - turbo sound - I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody tested it and it showed 0 performance gain. But nevertheless, it’s a great sound.

@@konkon6851 I did all the possible mods without voiding warranty. But if you wanna dabble on the dark side. This is what you are going to need. 1. MSTPERFORMANCE INTAKE, ARMA INTAKE, OR BMS INTAKE and these are in order of performance gains 10 horspower. 2. Bigger turbo. Weistec offers some turbos and a basic google search can get you a bigger one. With the bigger turbo you can expect big gains - not sure on numbers tho. 3. AMR Performance Tune - This can range from 50-60 horsepower gained As well as remapping burbles and crackles. 4. W205 Downpipes - Gains of 10 horsepower or so i have heard. 5. Full catback exhaust. Same as above. 6. Blow off valve. 7. Lighten the car up with anything you do not need.
@@autodacorsai have the same problem, i have 4 screws and my air filter is on the right side, every video i seen it has it on the left and the bov has 3 screws, i haven’t been able to find a 4 screw one
No such thing in New York - all we have is inspection and it takes 2 mins they don’t test anything. Even if they do test - it’s nothing related to smog.

I have a 2020 c300. Bought a black boost blow off valve. The only problem is, my stock blow off has 4 screws not 3
