I purchased the DTE Pedalbox about 9 months ago, but I must say this GOFASTBITS BOV is amazing. This would be the first perf. Mod I would do to a c205.348 . It's it is amazingly responsive now especially when have the pedal tune on Sport +++ .RE the BOV it was very hard to get it to click in place. one side would click and the others would come up. Initially I thought it was 0.25 mill out so got out the digital calipers. GFB should really include (IMO) some small shims washers as there is like a 0.25-0.5 ml spacing all the way around and when you do up the bolts it causes the OEM DV to pull down on the corners wish I don't like as naturally this is causing extra stress on the plastic.
I’d try and use a oil if you can. I know a number of people use sewing machine oil and hydraulic oil when rebuilding bov and Installing recirculating diverter valves it holds up to heat and constant movement better. Wd40 will lube components but it also attracts debris that can cause premature wear. I’ve seen a few bad cases where the Dv+ gets f***ed because it is brass and without proper maintenance (cleaning and lubrication) it starts to wear and you can end up with metal shavings going through the intake.

That’s exactly why I started my channel almost 4 years back. I wanted to show people how I mod a car without no BS. Most youtubers want to hit the 10min mark because they think the RUclips algorithm will promote their video cause it’s longer. And that should get them more subscribers. I don’t care about that and that’s why most of my videos are under 5mins. I don’t really care about subscriptions. I care about creating good quality content, interacting with positive viewers and focusing on the love of the mods (not just trying to grow my own channel). If I make good content, the views and subscriptions will come but they won’t dictate how I create my “art”.
Yes I have sponsors but 99% of the products I bring to the limelight are great and most people don’t know about it. So I use myself as the test rabbit for these products and bring them to peoples attention. And they can decide if they like the mod or not and they can decide to buy it or not. The sponsors definitely help my channel and allows me to keep making more videos. And I’m 100% transparent about them paying me in all of my video descriptions. My parents always taught me to always be fairly compensated for the quality of my work. Some people think me being sponsored is a negative but for the info I bring and effort I put into making my videos, I deserve some kick back in the sales of these products while everyone is getting my content for free. And trust me, it’s not a lot of money. I’m not quitting my day job anytime soon.

I know many German manufacturers typically underrate the hp and torque figures. My friend has a stock 2018 C300 4MATIC that Mercedes says makes 241hp and 273lb but when he put it on a dyno, it actually made 302hp and 295lb to the wheels.
nice I used a cheap 15 dollar diverter spacer from ebay it was just releasing all air to atmosphere making my shifts slow, these look like they actually do something not just noise
No point. This is a c300…not a high performance turbo car. Your spending money on something that does almost the same thing. A bov is not gonna give you that much of a performance difference regardless what brand makes it. A hybrid turbo swap or a tune is what really changes things for a c300. Everything else is minor. I rather stick with GFB that I know that is affordable, lasts long, and does what I need it to you. Again…this is a 4 banger c300. Lol
responsiveness does not increase by changing chargepipes or intake tubes, you need to make tuning changes to adjust responsiveness. also people if you stock car us below 100k miles you dont need an aftermarket diverter valve, it wont do anything, you might aswell spend that money on somewhere usefull
Does anyone know if the blow off valve decreases fuel economy I am lost right now my mpg went from 26 at hard driving to 21 at normal driving I don’t know if my turbo is going bad or if it was the blow off valve.

Hello, I just installed a blow off valve spacer on my A250, but it's throwing a fault code ' turbocharge bypassvalve ' and my car's exhaust isn't crackles anymore until i reset the ECU. Any ideas?

Throttle response isn’t really that much affected. Boost is affected cause power keeps kicking between shifts cause the car doesn’t really need to start over on building boost. Did you discovered what’s the issue? When i drive with full boost, after a moment the boost goes out and the car stay only with the 2.0 aspirated. I Think that is because the oem DV valve and mine MB is Stage 2.
I went with a DV+ diverter valve for my 2015 A4. Works better then a blow off valve especially when it comes to maintain boost pressure for performance

Hey flexx, I recently installed the GFB BOV for my c300 4 matic and everything is working fine, no codes or check engine lights but there is no classic turbo noise. What’s your opinion?
Blow off valves don’t make turbo sound. They vent excess air so it’s gonna be a woosh. Turbo sound (stututu) is air flow back into the turbo and being chopped it.

Likely the car would be running RICHER if he was using the valve that vents to atmosphere. Since he chose the recirculating valve the car likely is seeing no change in air flow. All air the MAF accounted for is still within the system. Basically no tune should be necessary

Do a video comparison for Forged BOV and Turbosmart BOV. Those are pretty "hot" right now and performance wise, it feels better than GFB.

It doesn’t have to have holes on the valve for the diverter valve

Does diesel versions of the W205 also have this? My W205 is a twinturbo, so does that mean it has 2 diverter valves?
There’s no diesel version in the US so I can’t really tell you whats in that car.

How is the throttle response?
Throttle response isn’t really that much affected. Boost is affected cause power keeps kicking between shifts cause the car doesn’t really need to start over on building boost.
If you want throttle response, you need a pedal tune like this. Tornado tuning has versions for different cars/models.

Hey man, I see the code "the turbocharger 1 boost pressure is too low. The signal amplitude is below minimum amplitude " what could this meannn?
Probably have a leak somewhere. You need to take it to a mechanic to diagnose.
Did you discovered what’s the issue? When i drive with full boost, after a moment the boost goes out and the car stay only with the 2.0 aspirated. I Think that is because the oem DV valve and mine MB is Stage 2.

I went with a DV+ diverter valve for my 2015 A4. Works better then a blow off valve especially when it comes to maintain boost pressure for performance

Hey flexx, I recently installed the GFB BOV for my c300 4 matic and everything is working fine, no codes or check engine lights but there is no classic turbo noise. What’s your opinion?
Blow off valves don’t make turbo sound. They vent excess air so it’s gonna be a woosh.
Turbo sound (stututu) is air flow back into the turbo and being chopped it.
@@TheFlexxGarage so if the turbo never made a noise before the BOV isn’t going to help it. In turn I should probably check my turbo then?

Likely the car would be running RICHER if he was using the valve that vents to atmosphere. Since he chose the recirculating valve the car likely is seeing no change in air flow. All air the MAF accounted for is still within the system. Basically no tune should be necessary
