Genuinely bmw has more torque less weight , and imo transmission always were better
Why don’t you all call up S60? I want to see whetter his acceleration time is real or not.
Not accurate as stated in the broucher (4.7seconds). But definitely can do in 5.1 seconds or some certain conditions 4.9 seconds 0-100. So definitely faster than both of these cars here.
2:13 - isnt the Merc coming with 9G-Tronic instead of a DCT?
yup... All C-Classes use the 9G-Tronic except for C63, that uses MCT
@@brandonczw mine with the 7G-Tronic . Better acceleration as compared to later gen with 9G-Tronic is towards fuel efficiency
As BMW owner this makes me really 😊
You should do M sport vs amg
Adrian Chia is back 👀👀 Was waiting for this
I don’t think the C300 comes with a DCT transmission, it has mercs 9G-Tronic 9 speed auto
The BMW 330i doesn’t have DCT either 😂 what point are you trying to make
The Honda accord sports 2.0t beat this Bmw in a drag over and over again which is crazy considering the Honda makes less power.
The horsepower is the same but not the weight and that is very important too.
Well. One is geared for performance with its better transmission and aerodynamics, the other is geared more for luxury hence why its interior looks better. BMW has better materials tho but looks boring
Malaysian version of carwow 😍
It was a no brainier that the BMW was gonna win hahahaha! BMW fanboy for lifeee 💪🏽
Until you saw that gigantic nostril on the new 3 & 4
@@mohddanial2619 You need to get used to it. At least looks more different that doesn’t make you boring anymore, when you go inside the car. For outside, the looks quite better.

Do a drag race between Proton X70 vs X50
They already film it
@@aqilnaufal93 Really when? 🤔
@@jananaathselvan2385 at the intro
wating for this very long time. tks alot
I'm not sure why people still race a benz against a BMW because the results are always obvious before the race even starts..
you can just hold the brake in the c300 and it'd build boost just like any how any launch control system would work
You can do exactly the same on Bmw but Bmw makes better engines now everyone knows
@@ardiniko1 mercedes’ makes more robust engines
@@am63ne on Amg’s are quite good 4L and 2L amazing. But the smaller the engine the shittier the quality and definitely far from Robust
@@am63ne unless you’re talking about the Renault ones lol 😂 the Mercedes quality is so far from what people like you think. If you look at the big picture. There’s too many Mercedes owners like myself that agree on this fact, it also depends on the experience because I’m driving them and testing them due to my work
@@ardiniko1 i own two mercedes, a c300 and a c63 i also work on them. i’ve also owned bmws. trust me when i tell you i know what i’m talking about. in the 3 years of owning my c300 not one issue has risen, neither my 63 and i’ve driven them both well into 100k. mercedes’ don’t suffer the same as bmw engines, bmw used cheap plastics everywhere in their engine bays. i also worked at bmw, the new g80 m3 and m4 are already coming back for drive malfunctions- nothing new to bmw.
Even without launch control it smoked that C300. I'm glad I chose BMW over Mercedes 😌
Would like to see a rematch with 45 mph and 65 mph roll starts
car wow??
Nice show I've been waiting for such race can we have the the BMW 330I vs the A300 sedan
the 330i actually has 272hp. typical bmw fashion underrating their cars.
Really?
@@kimboy98 yup, the dyno shows just that. 272hp & 413Nm as opposed to what bmw claims to be 258hp & 400Nm.
@@zxlrxsyxd Is underreporting hp & torque numbers a new trend or that most manufacturers tend to rate their cars based on the performance they get from the least quality fuel that's available around the world?? Just a general query. ✌🏻
@@hellcat-707 its not a new trend (for bmw atleast). they have always underrate their cars' performance. they are known to perform better in the real world (under optimal conditions) than what bmw claims. for other manufacturers im not too sure, but im sure some does what bmw does too.
@@zxlrxsyxd I read an article on McLaren understating hp numbers and apparently it was mentioned in the article that a superior fuel would produce more than the claimed numbers and the hp rating was done based on the fuel which gave the worst hp.
Mercedes-Benz C300 0-100 7.74 seconds and 1/4 mile 15.6 seconds? What a lie? My C300 2016 stock 0-100 6.3 - 6.6 seconds and 1/4 mile 14.3 - 14.5 seconds.
What do you expect from those guys. I've got a '18 c300 base, 0-60 5.4" timed on a strip. Those dumb bchs don't know how to setup the Benz. Fucking plebs.
How about adding the Audi A4 2.0 Quattro to this mix. Seems like a lot of effort just for a silly drag race. Perhaps add some brake test to this too. Btw, how Ling was the run? 1/4 mile?
😂 I just hit subscribe after that whole "I love winning, I love winning!"
I mean the mercs interior isnt outdated and mercs are for luxury and comfort… merc is also considered more prestigious when it comes to being a luxury brand.
BMW is better than Audi or Merc its the class leader.
why is GC Mah's camera not as sharp? looks slightly out of focus too.
Nice video keep it coming
Pls add in 4 motion Arteon R line for comparison
then these 2 Bs will be seeing the Arteon's tail light

I don’t quite get these numbers I’m convinced they don’t know how to push the c300 thru gears correctly cause I’ve ran 6.1 and 6.2 stock 0-60
Now race a Kia Forte gt (dct) against them cuz it would have similar performance to the 330i unless the atmospheric temperature and/or air density is affecting their performance cuz that was rather slow especially for the c300.
Facts forte gt dct does low 6s 0-60
you did not push C300 hard enough!!!!
Please put these 4 cars together; S60 T8, 330i, C300 and Arteon Rline 4motion.
Add A4 and XE too along 4 cars together
I had both the bmw blew and engine going 120 constantly on the highway.
Started to burn oil.
C300 Run at hight speed with out an issue
I thought those are Pre premium sedans
They compact executive this is like d segment but not as feel comfortable than d segment & as well executive.
i guess by putting g20 320i also will bend down the merc at the end..
BMW is the only car that makes Mercedes look bad all the time
Now do the g80 M3 competition vs the amg c63s
Can you guys do 330i vs 330e?
The singaporian accent makes it so much better
Isn't the M a more powerful car than a base C300?
If with sports mode & launch control 😍
It’s supposed to be a w206 vs the G20
Can try 330i with the VW Arteon Rline??
Why even race these cars. Would be more interesting to see their interior than racing
Should include rolling race lah.. Copy je matt Watson punya style.
Mercedes came with panorama roof and lager rims. BMW not? The pano roof weighs around 40kg. Do it the other way round and also give some 19" wheels to the BMW and the Merc gets the little ones.
They're so close, it's all about weight and the car-config.
Maybe also the better driving skills of the BMW driver :>
Other tests put the c300 0.2sec slower, so you really have to wonder wtf these bell-ends are doing. It's clearly faked.
dude thats part of the car you can also remove the doors from the car 😅
1:55 Why the 9G-Tronic stated as DCT? Isn't it should be conventional torque converter like the ZF 8 speed?
You’re are right. It’s not a DCT.
Aiks !? C300 should be using 9G-Tronic (nine-speed automatic transmission)
Its kind of doesnt apple to apple isnt it? Since its g20 vs w205?
Hahaha race of the year! im gonna get the 3 series next year! finger cross xx
I couldn't find the C300 was using DCT coz all article stating it was using 9G-Tronic which is AT rather than DCT. Anyone has source on this C300 is DCT?
Sorry. It is indeed a 9G-Tronic and not a DCT.
