- In this video, I show you two new diverter valves available at Tornado Tuning. One is an aftermarket diverter valve, the other is an aftermarket blow off valve. Both now have all metal construction for extra durability and can support more aggressive peformance upgrades on the Mercedes-Benz C300 W205. #w205 #c300 #tornadotuning

I got a ‘18 c300 2 weeks ago and just slapped this BOV on about 20 minutes ago and couldn’t be happier. I’ve used your channel for a few mods already, thanks for the detailed content! 🤝
That’s freakin awesome!! Congrats! And thanks for the continued support. I appreciate it!!!
How do you like the sound the BOV makes? Is it to loud?
Been following you for a while now. Great videos and instructions. Who did youbuse for your tune? I've been looking for someone to get it done. Hard to find someone who is reliable and lnows what they are doing. Not trying to gremade my engine 😂. Keep up the great videos.
I did a whole video on it almost a year ago. ruclips.net/video/QGV8obudPe4/видео.htmlsi=UfMGZGwHrTZqorlr
Hey man I just got a 2020 c300 bone stock what do you recommend me to do with it love your channel
Congrats.
That’s up to you how you wanna customize your car. Go to my playlist section and I have the whole w205 mods video playlist with over 50 mod videos. Pick and choose what you like.
Question will u every change the color of ur seatbelts I’ve been looking into doing it to mine and I’m stumped 😅
I was. I bought red seatbelts with motors from a c43 but never had the chance to install them. I already sold them to someone else already.
Find this channel waaaaayy too late
Got a fake C43 the start of the year and want to find some more things that i can mod on my car, now i found it
By the way, can this bov be fitted on M276?
Yeah. Lol. I’m almost done with my W205 in a few months after 50+ videos.
no full exhaust system yet?? that’ll really bring out the aggressiveness for the pops and bangs
Full exhaust won’t be happening. But there will be some exhaust work coming soon. Stay tuned.
Hey is it worth modding or enhancing my c250 it’s got over a 105k miles and a 2013?😂👍
Answered this several times to other people. Any car is worth modding if you think it is. It’s your car. However, if it was me…I don’t care how much miles is on the car as long as the car is in good shape and all the maintenance and repairs are done. Cause if you slap a mod on a car thats barely getting regular oil changes or running on old spark plugs or haven’t had a coolant flush or whatever maintenance done…and you floor the car more cause you wanna feel the new mod, you’re likely to screw up the car. It’s not the mods fault, it’s the owners fault for putting a good mod on a crappy car. The car is only as good as it’s weakest point.
Great Video, will it work with the 2020 C300 (W205) with M264 engine?
Yes. It should. You can reach out to tornado tuning and double check if you want.
Yes100% I own the same car already installed
@@newtongsmdid you get the performance blow off valve ?
Can you post a clip on the sound difference between the DV and BOV? Also, ballpark, how much difference between stock and aftermarket on torque or throttle response? I know it's a subjective butt measurement. 😊
Go watch my original video. Link in description. Pretty sure I have sound clips there.
You can't measure throttle response. That's based on feel. And you're not gonna gain torque by just changing out a diverter valve. More needs to be done to see a noticeable difference in torque. An aftermarket diverter valve is just one of many components that needs to be upgraded so when you do mods that really changes HP an TQ, the car isn't going to have a weak point and you'll be able to get the most out of the other performance mods.
My rule...cause the goal of my car is to get tuned for more power and torque (which I already did)...if something is plastic and an integral part, it's gonna get beefed up with an aftermarket version that's stronger, performs better, and will last longer.
Really like your videos. Have you seen the Dual Port Blow-Off Valves? Seems like a great compromise. Been looking for them for my 2016 E550 Cabriolet.
What tune y get for the pops and bangs

So you can’t hear the his from the turbo even with the cold air intake?
You can but it’s not as loud until you get a blow off valve.
Is there a second diverter valve for the c300? I heard its very difficult to install?
Yes, there is. And it’s super hard to install. You know why? Cause you’ll have a hard time finding it cause it’s deep, very deep in the world of no existence.
Cause there no second diverter valve. Lol
Do you know if these divertor/BO valves are compatible with MB 3.0L V6 diesel engine?
Don’t know. We don’t have diesel engines in Mercedes cars in the US. You need to ask tornado tuning.
Also, if your engine is not a turbo engine…it won’t work.
Hey, great video! I've been following your content for a while now. I also own a W205 and I'm interested in getting a link to the Diverter Valve you mentioned. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
There’s no link. As I mentioned in the video, look in the video description to contact tornado tuning for the product. That’s the only way to get it. They respond quickly.
Will these parts work with a 2019 c300 i tried contacting tt people but no response:(
Yes. The title of the video clearly says 2015+ c300. They all have the same engine until the w206 platform.
How much was the blowoff valve kit?
You need to check with tornado tuning. I don’t know. My stuff was sponsored.
Do you have a discount code with dmp? I’m looking to get the Apple car play head unit for my W205 AMG
Go watch any of my videos that has a dmp product and look in the video description.
Do you need a tune to use aftermarket blow off valves right? Because stock the cars come with a closed system
No
Can u help me hetbthis exact part for my car please
Reach out to tornado tuning. They’ll tell you exactly what will work for your car.
Hey man, hows the mercedes been treating you after this long and the kms? Do you see all the mods you done as worth it and youll keep it for longer or sell anytime soon
I’ve had it since 2019 and it’s great. Everything I’ve done is totally worth it. Especially when a lot were done on a budget. The only reason I would sell it is because I’m done modding and need another car for RUclips . Doesn’t mean I hate it or if anything’s wrong. I just don’t keep cars long because they are for RUclips. It’s not like it’s a prize possession like my R8.
@TheFlexxGarage fair enough man, I'm currently indecisive between two options, I have a 2016 cla45 with 134000kms. Wondering if I should either pull the trigger and upgrade screen, wheel and other bits or wait 1 and a half years, sell it and get finance on a new car. My only concern is once she hits the higher kms how bad repairs will get. Any thoughts?
That’s one of the reason why I don’t keep my cars past like 80,000 miles. I’ve had cars in the past that went past 80,000 miles and just kept having to replace parts after parts. Also there’s always a risk of getting stranded on the road if the alternator or something major fails. My wife drives the car a lot and I don’t ever want her stranded somewhere. Also, the car will keep depreciating more and more.
I like to buy cars around 30,000-50,000 miles. Keep it for a few years and sell it. That’s just my style. And it’s easier for me to do it because I rarely lose money on cars now because I make money from doing car mods on RUclips. My cars are investments whereas to regular people, cars just keep depreciating and they lose money on them…so sometimes it’s wise to just keep it longer and put more miles on them.
@@TheFlexxGarage yeah I see what you mean man, kudos to you for making the social media work in your favour honestly. Think at this stage the car has depreciated a lot so might be better to keep it as a daily and do the mods.
Nice 😎
Can it also be done on the C220?
No, the c220 is diesel engine.
That sounds really good.
Add a new exhaust system
I already have it in my garage. Just need to get a shop to weld it on and make a video. So probably a few more weeks.
