I just found out about these glasses! I have watched video after video of people putting them on for the first time. These videos show not only how much they are loved by their family & friends, but how very very deeply the receiver feels about their gift. I LOVE colors! Thumbs Up to all of the videos!
I don't think you can not be overcome by emotion at a time like this. I just cannot imagine. Your whole entire life people having to tell you what certain colors are, or seeing things your brain and eyes cannot interpret as a majority of people see them or being told something, some color exists, that no matter how hard you want to see, you can't, and then one day getting, well, magical glasses, that allow you to see these things for the first time. I saw a video of a 72 year old experiencing it, and it was like...72 years of not knowing the beauty of a red flower, or a purple dress, or to distinguish leaves on a tree...This video is wonderful. Glad he got to experience it all with family.
You sir have a great family who loves you! You remind me of my beloved father in law who was compltetely color blind. I wish I could have purchased this for him. He would have had a little "sniffle" too.
I don't get it why everyone has to spoil the experience for color blinds who see color for the first time by pretty much throwing new colors in their face and exclaiming it's GREEN etc as if he's been WRONG all his life. He hasn't been wrong, he's been unable to see those shades before. Just let them experience it for themselves FFS. In fact, i think people who buy these glasses for others should wear glasses that make them color blind for a week just so they understand what's going on.

The betters are when they run away pointing thing and shouting, and when they block locking the see, the dawn... crying. People born, each one in his personal way
I love the one quick shot of him wiping his nose and the girl asking "Is he crying?" at 3:20. Super effective editing. It doesn't linger on it, it doesn't wallow in it, it just gives you a quick shot of real emotion before moving on. Well done.

No Rainbow have the whole optical spectrum. One color for each chemical element plus all the shade between. BtW. Are you sure that is the purple? I think it´s the violet the rainbow´s color. I mean, I´m not english speaking, but I have control in Google Image (In english, of course, the two name at the same time) and I´m pretty sure that is "violet" the spectrum top
I'm not an English mothertongue. I'm Italian. With purple I translate the Italian word "Viola". I know it seems much more similar to "violet" than "purple", but I've been taught the correct translation was "purple".

Per me, madre lingua spagnolo, il porpora sarebbe un colore più sul "melanzana", più scuro e tinto in rosso dal viola, più cupo da quello dal arco baleno. Ho fatto un controlo su Google, cercando per immagini e pure in inglese, non fosse il solito sballo coi nomi dei dolori fra lingue (Meto come esempio che un blocco enooorme di "blue" inglese corrisponde a dei verdi in spagnolo e al contrario,Un grande gruppo di "green" corrisponde a i nostri azzurri acqua. In fondo sono solo parole per definire cose) I questa ricerca mi sono trovato che, effettivamente, il nomi viola e porpora inglesi concordono "ufficialmente" coi colori a cui corrispondono in spagnolo, anche sul arco baleno, non con quelli che dicono sui video Magari i parenti non vogliono esagerare con la precisione, o magari sono a corto di nomi per i colori. Ho visto dei video dove chiamano "arancio" a un giallo chiarissimo, rosso a un saco di arrancioni, blu a un viola, verde a dei gialli, anche "VIOLA" a un giallo... E ti garantisco che la mia acutezza cromatica è a prova di bomba, anche con test sperimentali (E un italiano che, a squarcia gola, chiamava "giallo" a un bimbo cinese)

Most of the people Who get these glasses are VERY SURPRISED by the colour PURPLE. THEY ALSO CAN de fine between Red/Green.

Since his license plate is "PRPLHZ" he obviously thought - as he admitted - that his blue car was actually purple. Now he knows differently.
