+HelenaRG71 We bought 1 pair of glasses for now. They cost us about $400 just for the one pair. EnChroma has a promotion with Clorox right now in which they are giving away some glasses but you must be 14 yrs old or younger to qualify. My youngest son is 15 :-( so he doesn't qualify....
+Google Nutzer I appreciate the thought but I really couldn't do that. Im actually on the other end of fund raising as I do a lot of fund raising for people & children in need, my favorite is TrikesForTykes dot weebly dot com in which we donate tricycles to children in need around Christmas time every year. For now the boys can share the one pair of glasses but I will buy another pair in the near future.
TheEightshot that's like saying it sucks for people who have great vision that they will never experience putting on glasses and seeing clearly... those couple hours ain't worth it
Ikr? Just think about all the colors you can see right now, but there are thousands of different colors you've never seen before, just waiting for you to put the glasses on... now that would be cool, wouldn't it? I guess that's how those kids felt.
Anthony's deep enthusiasm and genuine selflessness (he enjoys his brother's discoveries without immediately asking for the glasses back) are such a joy to watch!
I'm happy for the kids seeing color for the first time, of course, but I'm even more impressed by how great these kids are: intelligent, enthusiastic, articulate, and generous with each other. Good job raising them, Dad (and Mom).
we see all of these things every day. but for them, when they see the the stuff , they are like "wow, this is amazing" we should be grateful for being able to see right. those glasses help them see color and they needmem to see real color. like if u agree with me.
Breaking News : a colour blind American who was abducted by "Greys" has just bought these glasses and now claims he was, in fact, abducted by "little green men"
How does that even work? Wouldn't he need to see them with the glasses on to know they were green lol, these glasses don't make your memories not color blind
wow thats so cool for those boys, you see it in there face when they look at the different colors for the first time. Talk about open your eye;s to new things, brings on a whole new meaning. Wish you the best.
This is very cool to watch! As for why they focused on the trees, I think people who are not color blind have gotten used to the transition between yellowish green and green, and don't really think it is all that special, but from this, it appears that they particularly had a problem with the yellowish green (of the corn as well as on the trees), so it stands out as pretty distinct to them.
This is so lovely to witness. Buy them a suncatcher each for their bedroom window and it will throw beautiful rainbows around their room whenever the sun shines on it. Their reaction has made me appreciate more the beauty of colour and how fortunate we are to be surrounded by it. Thank you for a great vid. Sending warm wishes to Gianni and Anthony from across the waves in Ireland. May their futures be as bright and colourful as their lovely personalities.
It must awesome to be colorblind and then to grab those glasses and look around. (not that color blindness is a awesome thing... it probably sucks) but they are able to experience something that most of us will never experience. We usually already understand color but to be able to REMEMBER your first moments of seeing different colors that you have never seen before. That's gotta be an unforgettable day.
Thank you for sharing this. Very cool to witness someone's first time experiencing something as great as seeing colors. Brings a big smile to my face. I know for people who aren't color blind take seeing colors for-granted.
Reminds me a little of when iu got regular glasses for the first time. I had pretty bad eye sight (like all blury) it was amazing when i put those on. I wonder what those kids are going trough ;D
+Sarah Zaifullizan The first I put Glasses it felt so weird and I would take them off, but now when I take them off I can't see anything, god bless the creator of glasses.
I'm having a very special weird feeling while watching this, I feel so excited and happy for them, when they are able to see colors! I just don't understand why :D
+Tan Jenny It's part of what makes humans special, it's a compassionate empathic joy which we can experience with them and for them. It's one of the best parts of being human. I'm glad I came to this planet.
Hothead gaming clash royale but that will make it even better when you put the glasses on (if you get them) because you don't even realise what you're missing out on.
John... I had a sibling leave me a little money a while ago and I've been taking my time thinking about what I'd like to give some to as a way of sharing some joy from him in the world. After watching this video of your boys, I think I'd like to give away some of these glasses. I work at a hospital, so I'm going to talk to the pediatricians about giving some to their young patients. Thanks for sharing this moment and helping me "pay it forward"!
That is so generous of you to do that, you should also donate a pair of glasses to the younger boy in the video, they share 1 pair of glasses. If I was colorblind and needed glasses like these I would pray for a saint like you. God bless.
brilliant. they are so lovely and deserving. its amazing how much a human misses out on by losing one of the senses or partially losing a sense. its not right. so these glasses are a an incredible gift.
Wow this makes me appreciate the full color spectrum I see each day that I thought were so bland and boring. Thank you for sharing the video. Bless your kids.
Dude I don't know how u did it,but I'm glad that u spent all your time in your life to do that for your kids,I'm so glad that u did that, some people in the world wouldn't do that for there kids, keep up the good work.
this is the second video I've watched so far. I'm just Soooooo Happy you /whoever invented these glasses. I'm an artist, and I don't take color for granted, but those that do, well, I hope they pay more attention to our beautiful Earth. Maybe this will spark someone's mind, to clean and nurture our earth back to health!!!! Thank You💙💙💙
I would love a pair of these! I have moderate deutan and also work as a photographer so colour is very important to my work. Shame I can't get these in the UK it appears :( and to have them shipped here would cost around £600 ($1000)
As far as I know, they are available to anyone with access to the web and a credit card. There are numerous videos in Italy and other Hispanic countries.
I grew up on a 19" B&W TV! I almost want to say getting a color TV was as exciting. But I know living your life as these boys have isnt the same. My experience truly cannot compare to what they are seeing. I think the young one said it best though mom was not happy... "Holy Shit"! What a wonderous world we live in compared to 100 years ago.
+AnimalLover It probably wouldn't do much. EnChroma works because colour blind people HAVE colour receptors, they just overlap too many wavelengths and merge them into one colour. Dogs just don't have the receptors. But it's a good way of thinking and a good question.
no, their eyes do not have the required photoreceptor in their eyes to detect them. the glasses only temporarily fix what is damage, which is the photoreceptor in the eyes.
No, dog's do not have the same exact photoreceptors same as our eyes does, That glasses is developed to turn brown into red and change your vision and to trick your brain, sadly animals have little brains and it's little foccused on viewing system.
+Noah Roller Me and my biological brother have different color blindness levels. He has Deuteranopia(green) and protonopia(red). I only have protonopia.
Noah Roller Why are you so ignorant? That isn't true whatsoever. That's like saying every person in the world will behave and act the same way to the flu.
As a graphic designer, I'd have to agree it's a shade of purple, but very much leaning towards the pink end of the scale. I know my mother would call it "mauve". But she calls everything "mauve".
Lol One thing I notice about all of these videos as that the people without color blindness want the color blind people to look at things like bright, colorful balloons and random objects like that but the color blind people are FAR more mesmerized by nature and the things they've seen 'wrong' their entire life, which I can understand why they would be far more into looking at the sky and grass and flowers than at a ball.
yes! Like at 03:40 he is staring at some shade of brownish green that is not very interesting/bright/different - a colour that people usually don't pay attention to. And this guy is fascinated by it!
The dad could act more excited. They are stoked over the color green and he is just like "Really? I see that color like, every day. It's nothing special." Dude! To them it's AMAZING.
is this one moment worth the blandness of all the previous years spent not experiencing the true beauty of the world? I personally don't think so. But I am so happy for all color blind people.
I am partially a tritanope, I'm weak in blue which means that the sky for me looks so much more whiter than it really is, normal blue looks light blue for me and dark blue looks like normal blue, at least thats what people say, I have nothing to compare my vision to, and dark blue looks to me like what people would say looks like turquoise, and you know what else looks turquoise to me? dark green. And I see yellow as what people would say pink, what!??! I just discovered this to days ago, and, I can't wait to get these glasses to know what you guys see :D
I used to play (9 ball) pool with a colourblind friend. To him, everything from blue to violet was the same shade of "dull purple" (his words). Consequently, he would often pot the two instead of the four, and vice versa. But here's what confuses me; since he called a lot of things "purple", things I certainly wouldn't call purple, how do we know his idea of purple is the same as ours unless we can get inside his head and see what he sees? When these guys are naming the colours on the ball, how do they know if they haven't seen quite seen these colours before? I find it hard to wrap my head around.
+Jack AD that was disproven once we used electron micrographics to map the brain activity excluding amygdalan activity. We noticed the same areas limit up, and eye structures were also similar, depending on color.
Fr3akymet4l your eyes bring in rods and cones, I believe cones are used to see colors and that's what color blind people lack, so these glasses bring in the missing cones
Laquefa your eyes dont work that way... at all like nothing like that, the glasses can't just "give" cones. they probably enhance the light color or decrease the light color of the surroundings or eve a mixture of both.
Taylor Watkins AFAIK the colorblindness is the cones overlapping too much in red and green, making it look the same. the glasses filter out specifically the part which overlaps so they see the individual colors.
Kark Agario the reason for it not working is because in humans the cones and rods that make color visible are like inactive where as dogs just don't have cones or rods for the color spectrum
The dad wants them to look at the really colorful stuff, but they're just blown away by grass.
Hahhah
Z8S3GHOST I guess us people who see color normally are so used to vibrant green grass that we take it for granted lol
Fall leaves would be so fantastic it's jaw dropping for people who can see color all the time
That's a great idea. Those bright reds...oranges...flowering trees. No shortage of beauty for those who seek it.
Yeah who would think that people with GREEN colorblindness would respond better to GREEN .
-_-
I do hope very much that both of your sons will get glasses for their own.

+Sixty7Lambs ok fork over 10000 dollars
i hope they get those pupil things idk what its called but made with the same glass things when that comes out
They're good kids. One opened them, and right away handed them to his brother.
Greg Scott yeah i can respect that
Greg Scott yeah it's a beautiful and rare thing
Greg Scott yeah he said I can try them on first lol
Anthony Presciutti You guys have a great family. Hope you continue to enjoy the glasses.
Greg Scott he swared within the first minute
You're grounded! no color for a week!
it's messed up but funny

OMG lol
+Indolent Sloth I feel so bad for laughing at this.
"What do you see?!?!?"
"I see trees of green, red roses too..."
Jim Canterak xD

Jim Canterak xD
I almost envy these two, I mean we will never know the excitment of seeing colour for the first time.
indeed. if only they have a cool glasses for seeing other supercool colors that some animals can see.
TheEightshot that's like saying it sucks for people who have great vision that they will never experience putting on glasses and seeing clearly... those couple hours ain't worth it
ILoveFanService hence "almost"
TheEightshot l do...it was when l was born
Imagine them using those glasses and watching fireworks
they'd flop
I'd love watching their reaction. This is too cool
Riddim Dubstep hahahah
this is fantastic man! happy to see your kids can enjoy bright colorful life like they should be able to!
+xXGodofTecknoXx Thank you, they continue to be amazed every day!
I'm happy for the kids seeing color for the first time, of course, but I'm even more impressed by how great these kids are: intelligent, enthusiastic, articulate, and generous with each other. Good job raising them, Dad (and Mom).
Dean Corpuz thank you!
This is amazing to see these reactions; I am glad to see that they can enjoy the color. Thanks for posting this.
"I've never seen green before"
Holy shit, my heart. It was so crazy hearing that.
I know. Green is my favorite color, and hearing that was really... mindblowing.
Elizabeth Avila same
i know , this is crazy. my favorite color is green and they are like ive never seen that green before. this is amazing
Morgan Wilson I've never seen red before but my friends say it's a nice color
Unless you live in England
i want them to have their own glasses each xx
They both do now
+John Presciutti yay! Tell them that I hope they enjoy them and wish them the best with life! Have a good day!
i know
we see all of these things every day. but for them, when they see the the stuff , they are like "wow, this is amazing" we should be grateful for being able to see right. those glasses help them see color and they needmem to see real color. like if u agree with me.
my Physical education teacher is color blind but he has his own glasses

same. it's definitely orange and I aint color blind
Barberman hahahaha
Barberman too😂😂😂
Me too but it might just be the camera.
I thought it was dark orange too.100% not colourblinded, did all tests.
Breaking News : a colour blind American who was abducted by "Greys" has just bought these glasses and now claims he was, in fact, abducted by "little green men"
You are awesome my friend.
How does that even work? Wouldn't he need to see them with the glasses on to know they were green lol, these glasses don't make your memories not color blind
Reckfullies they probably have classes or they can see most colors
now we just gotta make these into contacts.
Then we can help all of the colorblind settlements
exactly!
but what settlement is there to help first ?
they died
this is your fault, player. you should have helped the settlement
This was so sweet...I'm crying. I can't imagine what it was like for them.
Colour-blind people watching this will think, " I see nothing new ".
People who aren't colour-blind will think, " I see nothing new"
LOLOLOLOL
I saw a popular video on RUclips that isn't depressing but actually uplifting... that's something new
😜
This is awesome! They are so excited. I must be getting old because shit like this makes me emotional. Good for them. They seem like good kids.
wow thats so cool for those boys, you see it in there face when they look at the different colors for the first time. Talk about open your eye;s to new things, brings on a whole new meaning. Wish you the best.
THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY KNOWING THAT THEY CAN FINALLY SEE COLOR AND IT JUST WARMS MY HEART SO MUCH.
And sure, this video was a year ago, but it just makes me so happy
who the hell would dislike this?
Well here is the nicest words I got to say for you. Fuck you. Really those are the nicest.
omg i know right
Maybe because the didn't like the video, it's not like a video is going to be perfect and please everyone.
+rugby3230 Yup I always try to put that on others
harambe.

ThatGuySharkey27 I remember the first time I wore regular glasses it was like going from 480p to 1080p lol it was awesome
Thank you for sharing this. Very cool to witness someone's first time experiencing something as great as seeing colors. Brings a big smile to my face. I know for people who aren't color blind take seeing colors for-granted.
Thank you!
This is awesome have you purchased a second pair yet
5:55 " what are those?" Had me laughing! This video was great to watch
Reminds me a little of when iu got regular glasses for the first time. I had pretty bad eye sight (like all blury) it was amazing when i put those on. I wonder what those kids are going trough ;D
I have very poor vision, I remember being in awe when I looked at the moon clearly for the first time.
Ikr? The first time I got glasses done I kept staring at the trees and skyline because everyting became clearer.
+Sarah Zaifullizan yeahhh the trees is what did it for me haha, so much details!
+Sarah Zaifullizan The first I put Glasses it felt so weird and I would take them off, but now when I take them off I can't see anything, god bless the creator of glasses.
+Jasper demeester Same here.
That boy so good express all him feelings... He so naturally happy... Ohhh, soo nice.. I'm so happy for them
I love these vids they really bring joy to my soul.
Oh la la Muah Awesome, thank you!
I can't believe how much I've been taking for granted... thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Tell them I am so, so happy for them.
I'm having a very special weird feeling while watching this, I feel so excited and happy for them, when they are able to see colors! I just don't understand why :D
+Tan Jenny same here
+Tan Jenny It's part of what makes humans special, it's a compassionate empathic joy which we can experience with them and for them. It's one of the best parts of being human. I'm glad I came to this planet.
+Paul Cortbin Amazing and beautiful comment, I agree fullheartedly
> I'm glad I came to this planet.
Found the alien, guys.
That's called empathy
Great kids they keep their emotions in line while discovering the world. Both are so moving in their quiet lively approach to naming colours.
Color is something we take for granted id love to experience color for the first time it must be amazing.
I so hope your boys each get their own pair. Their reaction has made me so happy. 💚💙💛💜❤💖
"Is this Green?" Wow, just wow :)
This makes me so happy. Something they have never had their entire lives is suddenly possible. Amazing!
this was amazing. I was smiling the whole time. God bless!
Jeez you panned to the flag, and I thought I had gone colorblind for a second loool Was picturing a regular flag with bright red white and blue.
When I see things like this I kinda want to be colourblind just so that I can see colour for the first time
Sam Fingerspace I'm color blind
Hothead gaming clash royale but that will make it even better when you put the glasses on (if you get them) because you don't even realise what you're missing out on.
Sam Fingerspace You might be! You just don't know it. It would just look normal to you.
+Jennifer Elliott I've done tests
I'm very happy for your family. Thanks for the video!
"HOLY SHIT!" "Anthony!"
+B _Ebs01 I appreciate the nice comment, thank you very much!
It was food for my soul to see your boys enjoy and be in awe of colors I see everyday.
Thank you...
I don't know what the fuck they are talking about
that gasoline container IS orange!
Eduardo cano by code gas cans have to be red. The color has faded but yes it's red.
idiot its red
no are you blind that's pale green
Uhm its not pale green
Almost every gas container is red / orange.
The camera is just picking up a weird tone to it
Eduardo cano dthethrthhh
this is the second video I've watched so far. I'm just Soooooo Happy you /whoever invented these glasses. I'm an artist, and I don't take color for granted, but those that do, well, I hope they pay more attention to our beautiful Earth. Tommy Fresh That sucks, hopefully in the future they'll be readily available to everyone.
As far as I know, they are available to anyone with access to the web and a credit card. There are numerous videos in Italy and other Hispanic countries.
yeah $400 usd is not cheap at all, its only $57 shipping to the UK so not sure where you got your numbers from
I grew up on a 19" B&W TV! I almost want to say getting a color TV was as exciting. But I know living your life as these boys have isnt the same. My experience truly cannot compare to what they are seeing. I think the young one said it best though mom was not happy... "Holy Shit"!
What a wonderous world we live in compared to 100 years ago.
Has anyone ever thought of putting it on a dog to see their reaction?
im wondering that now
+AnimalLover It probably wouldn't do much. EnChroma works because colour blind people HAVE colour receptors, they just overlap too many wavelengths and merge them into one colour. Dogs just don't have the receptors.
But it's a good way of thinking and a good question.
Cosmic Spark
Do you ever think that some dogs are trichromats like some people are tetrochromats? Cause they didn't test all the dogs.
AnimalLover Wow, there WAS a human tetrochromat that was identified, fascinating. I'm sure there could be a trichromatic dog out there, why not?
Cosmic Spark
It could be possible.
The guy in the red shirt is adorable. So intense... i wish they could look at colors allthe time
I wish I could experience more colors.
Try LSD
or acid
Willem Branten lsd is acid
DMT
I feel so happy for them, great to see the technology now-a-days. I really hope they enjoy them for a long time.
his amazement at the trees was very touching
The little things we take for granted really makes differences in people's lives. I love this video
love the younger kids reaction!
- What do you see?
- I see trees of green (music plays)
red roses too
just goes to show how much we take for granted
"WHAT ARE THOSE !?!?!?!?!!??!!"
This warmed my heart this is amazing :) You made my day.
This brings a smile to my face 😄
I'm writing a story about a color blind character and this brings amazing inspiration
thank you it's beautiful
Finally Kids think outside is cool
what's really cool is their look with those sunglasses. they should also get a tattoo and drive a motorcycle
wait until they see video games in color, they won't go outside ever again :P
pokemon go is a thing lol
we can see colours its just duller then what you see. and I stay inside playing video games anyway
Haii A. was a thing
I truly hope that you got both boys a
pair of glasses!
Nature is the most beautiful in full colours. Who cares about the shirts xD
I just love your younger son's reaction to the colours, very heartwarming!
dad says "Its red" the son says "It used to be orange before" I say "the colorblind kid knows colors better than you"
Wow! It's amazing. Like they just seem the world for the first time. I wonder what's that feel like. It must be amazing
Wait, I have a dog. If I gave a pair to him would he see colors too?
Idk probably because dogs are color blind
Pαŝṭɇĺ Sℎḭt Well duh, but they could be a different kind of color blind
no, their eyes do not have the required photoreceptor in their eyes to detect them. the glasses only temporarily fix what is damage, which is the photoreceptor in the eyes.
Dogs aren't colorblind, you wouldn't call yourself colorblind because you can't see ultraviolet, right?
No, dog's do not have the same exact photoreceptors same as our eyes does, That glasses is developed to turn brown into red and change your vision and to trick your brain, sadly animals have little brains and it's little foccused on viewing system.
"The trees... Really?" - Who the hell doesn't love deep green. Don't you love it when your grass is green?
"Wha are those?!" 😂😂😂😂
We need to get them another pair! So cool!
They have different types of color blindness im guessing?
+Philly CheeseSteak yes you are correct.
+Noah Roller Me and my biological brother have different color blindness levels. He has Deuteranopia(green) and protonopia(red). I only have protonopia.
+Scott Daneker :O You got a little lucky, because if you inherited both of them, you would become monochromatic (unable to see any color)
+Noah Roller You may get the same gene, but what you're failing to realize is that the gene effects your eyes differently for every different person.
Noah Roller Why are you so ignorant? That isn't true whatsoever. That's like saying every person in the world will behave and act the same way to the flu.
The orange Gasoline Can, lol!
The father might be colorblind... Those are purple flowers not pink! Lol
Kinda of a mix of purple and pink
As a graphic designer, I'd have to agree it's a shade of purple, but very much leaning towards the pink end of the scale. I know my mother would call it "mauve". But she calls everything "mauve".
+Ozzpot Thats what I said.
BOSSGAMING Right, just backing you up! ;)
Ozzpot I would definitely call that purple
truly precious moment for your boys, all the best to them!

awesome. so happy for these young men. wonderful.
Are they completely colorblind or something like red and green colorblind
Xtr3m3 Memes both boys are red/green color blind
Such great young men! Great you got the glasses for them!
LOL that canister was ORANGE.. Maybe the camera guy should try the glasses... xD
The dad could act more excited. They are stoked over the color green and he is just like "Really? I see that color like, every day. It's nothing special." Dude! To them it's AMAZING.
for some reason I feel like being colorblind so I can feel thus moment

+Jack AD that was disproven once we used electron micrographics to map the brain activity excluding amygdalan activity. We noticed the same areas limit up, and eye structures were also similar, depending on color.
+0 oops, auto corrected electron micrograph, should be electronic mapping
+Ozzpot Everything depends on the color of the crystal through which one sees it
This is really cute. I'm surprised thinks that the trees and corn look exciting 😂
There are multiple colorblindnesses, please specify which
NebbiNova both the boys are red/green color blind.

This makes me so happy! I'm glad that the technology exists for people to see the world as I think it was meant to be seen-in full color.
This video made me smile so much
"Is that what green looks like?" That statement is truly humbling
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You see color
And I do too
My internship supervisor is colourblind and he's a graphic designer lol. He has to Google colours to know the difference when he's designing
How do these glasses work? That's awesome
People who are colorblind have no cones in their eyes, the glasses have cones in them that they can see with.
Devetite Okay...
These glasses are miracles they help people's vision . can't people realizability how lucky you are to see perfectly
imagine a dog wearing these
Kark Agario wouldnt work :L
damn :(
Kark Agario the reason for it not working is because in humans the cones and rods that make color visible are like inactive where as dogs just don't have cones or rods for the color spectrum
