- I have been color deficient my whole life and everything is much more beautiful than I ever realized. I never want to take these things off! My mom surprised me with them today and I cannot thank her enough.
He's like me. I don't like to show my emotions, but at the end it's nice to see how overwhelming it gets and he can't help getting excited.
i like how he starts off not wanting to get his hopes up and be disappointed if they don't work very well but, as time goes on and his eyes adjust, the excitement just starts showing
I think a flower/garden area is a perfect place to test those out. So glad they work for you!
I love the way he seemed a bit sceptical at first, but with time he starts to lose it in a positive way. Amazing! :)

when he says everything is curved its because he's seeing more colours which adds more depth and makes everything mored "3d" if that makes sense...there's more dimesion to everything.

One of the things they talk about is letting your brain and eyes adjust. You won't see much difference at first because your brain has to relearn how to interpret what your eyes see. The instructions tell you it will get more vivid the longer you wearer them until enough time has past to let your eyes/brain figure out what it's seeing.
I'm so glad you can see those colors now. I love watching the reactions, so heartwarming. I'm not color blind, but I have always appreciated the beauty this world has to offer, and can feel for those who can't see colors or anything at all.
Im really happy watching videos like these :) Im more grateful for what I have when I see other people not be able to see color... I need to appreciate more in my life! I hope you see many more beautiful things with those glasses!

I wanna surprise a friend of mine with these, he doesn't even know something like this exists, and I don't think he even cares ! And I happen to know he is severely color blind, as in everything looks like gray and brown and brown to him, no wonder he is depressed. So yeah hopefully he will change his mind once he sees how awesome purple is.

+Adina V Most Anglo and light skin people appeared pink, more so at the face. Light skin Asians don't usually have this pinkish tint though. So most color blind people have problems seeing red or variations of red, that's why they are surprised by it. If he looks at your picture he may thinks the same way. Purple seems to twist their brains a bit. One guy, while wearing EnChroma, looked at his nails and said, "my nails are pink!". He seemed to be as if someone just dropped him off on planet "Avatar".
I think there is a sunglass version and a inside version

kingkingkingking People portray their emotions differently. Maybe you would look more excited about something than me even though we are feeling the same thing.
Margined if it turned out they didn't work too well. He wouldn't want to act so excited only to be let down in front of his family. Especially since it seems he knew they worked with others and probably had high expectations.
Depends on which colors you have a hard time seeing, and takes a minute for your eyes to adjust. I would recommend taking the test on some websites which help you see what degree of color blindness you have. Especially for the price of the glasses, if your not that far color blind you might save some cash.
TekReview's Personally, even if it was only a minor difference I would want them. I didn't get my prescription glasses for almost a year because doctor said my astigmatism was minor. When I finally tried them on I was amazed at the level of detail in textures and shades that I couldn't see before.
Tim Port Worked with a guy who had a bad stigmatism in one eye. Now days they say they have new procedures to fix those kind of issues.
@@megaman7635 If that's the case, get them, even if you are not colorblind. You will see a clarity over & above the color enhancement. They are available in prescription, & their prescriptions are good.

+John Doe it only works for some people fully. Sometimes it doesn't work at all and sometimes it only makes colors a kettle less saturated.

+AceOfHearts Also, they don't always work so well right away. The eyes haven't been processing those colors, ever. I hear it can take a few days for the colors to really start coming through. It's not always an immediate difference. It may be it was honestly getting clearer over the course of the video.
I can just imagine not knowing what all the colours are called when he put on those glasses. The only thing he would really know it what he was told.. like grass is green, tress are brown, etc.
Enchroma is amazing.
I knew what color things were, and I could see most colors, but I'm still at only 25% of what most people see (in shades, that is). The amazing thing is that it completely boosts colors and eliminates confusion--red and green no longer mix with each other and pink is more visible now. Pink to me usually would look gray, or just white. Red would sometimes camouflage into green. Now the only thing I need to learn is the difference between fluorescent orange and pink and coral. They all look the same to me, so I need to see them with the glasses on.
Elisha North Hmm. I've recently taken a few small tests online, like "can you see the numbers?!!!?1/?" And I've not succeeded in any of them, mainly in the red-green sector, but it's not much. The reason I suspected you wouldn't know the names of the colours is because I have only seen the reactions of thee people who ONLY see shades of gray.

so basically those glasses block all the colors that you can see and let trough all the colors you have trouble seeing?
donotgettmeseriously No, they substitute the missing cones in a color blind person's eyes. So they can see both the colors that they saw before and the colors they couldn't see before.
It's more than just the vivid colors though, because they couldn't see "shades" of colors before either.

This was is what tripping on psychedelics is like. The experience is amazing but those who don't have to simply don't feel the same.
A lot of color blind people can't tell the difference between the two...

Do they work well inside as well as they do outside?

Cx-14. They actually work a lot better with a lot of sunlight and darken things too much indoors.

Everybody needs to stop calling them color blind glasses when really what they are is color correction glasses. Some people see the color purple as blue. So they see purple incorrectly. These classes correct that so the glasses should be called color correction glasses.

If you tell a color blind person you are white person and a darker person is black they would look at your like you are crazy and give you logics and they would say you are the color blind.person. Way to fo dude I love it.😂😂😂
