I totally understand that feeling of satisfaction when a job is complete. I like to see it. But I joy knowing the customer will enjoy it even more.

There's an AM radio station that airs the 'lawn doctor' show every Sunday. Its an hour long which I think it starts at 11am (or 10am). He gives tips on how to naturally (no harmful toxins etc) repel bugs, rodents, deer etc from your lawn and garden. He also gives tips how to expedite the growth of plants, fruit and veggies. I forgot his name and haven't listen to his show in about 4 years. He might have a podcast.

That is true your definitely not going to lose clients cause your work is right on spot every time and you always keep your word bro. I remember a couple years back quitting a mowing job cause of dog poo. Yea I would say that would hurt when someone does it cheaper. Oh yea I think that would look beautiful climbing the wall. 30K is a lot to lose, but that is great that you picked up more accounts and gaining profit. Yes that stone job was really fun to watch. I feel ya. At least you got some new accounts to replace the old accounts. We actually let a few customers who were problem Childs go, always looking for a cheaper deal and always wanting you to cut your rates to fit their budget. Not always possible.
Same thing about to happen to me. I spoke about how the Airbnb's around me suck in a fb group and now the str owners are pissed and look like they want to take it out on me. Everything happens for a reason. I know I'll be alright because they state that I was the most reliable person they ever had. So let them take a step back for trying to control the narrative and opinions in town.
I wouldn’t stress over loosing a few, I know with the high quality of work and skills you and sons have you will make that back plus probably double it this coming year!

Randy, you know how small my yard is and even though my dogs are small, a few piles of poop is noticeable. So I pick up dog poop with a pooper scooper twice a week because I don’t want our yard guy to have to mow through it (push mower). It’s just being considerate of others.
Also that tree that you anchored to the wall looks like it should be called a ghost tree. 👻
Same thing happened to us this year. We lost a bunch of clients but, also picked up some that are more profitable. Good video 💪

We lost a $2000 a year property that still bugs me. Fact is, we have so much work it does not affect the bottom line. We have gained so many new properties!!! Just keep swimming!!! God provides!!!

Dang bro, 15k in one hit😲, that sucks big time. Always a good side to some struggles brother, awesome news on the new properties! I have lost some customers over recent years, but can proudly say it wasn't due to something I did/didn't do. One sold her home and the new owners just didn't call me. The other was like yours with the customer getting older, and he began having health problems, so her property went in to a conservatorship and they didn't call me back🤷♂🤷♂. I actually got a call from another customer last week who is selling one of his properties this year, so I may lose that one too, but its a little out of the way so won't hurt too bad. Keep grinding man, the mulch looks awesome, as does all your work buddy!! Be safe brother! 💪👊
I'm letting our customers know this year with dogs big or small to please clean up all their dog poop if not we move elsewhere, it's the only right thing to do is clean it up and be respectful to your lawn provider. 🐕🦺 💩 😝
