Hello. Are you using wooden rulers under your cutting machines as paper support? And have you fixed them to the units? Great idea, whatever you've done 😀 x
# I Ask 1. Is the sticker media you are using specifically for laser printers made of vinyl stickers? 2. Are all monochromatic brands of laser printers able to print on sticker media materials specifically for lasers? 3. I saw the initial video, it looks like there are 8 cutting machines, did you mass produce those label stickers? 4. how much does it cost to produce 1 sheet of A3 size to print until it is finished and ready to be sold? 5. in your sales system based on orders / custom or indeed there is a design from you. 6. How is the sale piece or sheet, is it enough profit if it is used in a small business? ]thank you for answering and sharing
Is toner in the black ink used on a laser printer? Or is that something separate? Ans does it matter how long you foil after printing? Like can u foil a couple days after printing or does it need to be right away?
I must say, I purchased from you guys for the first time during Black Friday of 2021 and have since made two more purchases for your mega foil grab bags. You guys have quickly become my favourite foil shop. Your sticker sheet selection and quality of products are amazing. Thank you so much for making this video and guide. I also grabbed some mega ooops black bags from another shop and was thinking of trying to foil some of them on my own. Really appreciate it x
Hi lovely how do you prevent the foil from getting on other parts where the ink is not? I am using clear label stickers but it gets smudged on the clear parts
So how would I foil something that has multiple colors? Not clear like what you did. Like what if I wanted a multi color sticker design but certain spots foiled?
Fantastic video, I found this very helpful. I am using a mink to foil with and I am having trouble with the foil sticking to the unprinted part of the sticker, as well as the toner part. Is this a heat issue?
Thanks for this video, it helpful, but i have issues when with Result, so my words not covered all with foil, still i have like a black dots.😞😞😞😞 I tried many different way, but I don’t know what i do. Please please I would appreciate if you answer me . Thanks so much
If I use my inkjet printer (since that is what I have and can currently afford) can I use that to still make foiled stickers? Or do I have to have a laser printer?
I am having a problem getting the cut lines to line up if I do color with my inkjet on parts and then want to foil. Maybe I just need to make a more simple header for my stickers and no color on the items.
Is it possible to print over a section that you foiled. I have a logo that I want a icon to be foiled but the business name on top of it will just be standard black toner.

Hi, what vinyl cutter did you use and did you have to print via vinyl cutter software as "print to cut" ? Everything else you showed were simple and crystal clear. Thanks.
We use a silhouette portrait machine to cut our stickers. It is connected to our computer through the Silhouette software program! We are able to design, print, and cut from the software.
Some foil react to toner, not ink. That means you need to buy toner-active foil. It's not always the best quality but look around at ebay and aliexpress and get some cheap sheets/rolls and play with till you find the best way.
Hi!! Our course covers all the steps of foiling (design, cut, print, foil). The printing and foiling part should be the same regardless of Silhouette or Cricut. The design and cut part will be different since the software and machine used will be different. So if all you are interested in is the actual foiling part, then this course still works for a Cricut user! I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any more questions!
Great question! We share this in our latest Office Tour video where we walk through everything we use in our studio in detail and have it linked, so I would definitely recommend checking that out! ☺️
now this is a question I dont think has been asked but is very important to me.... where or what type of shelves do you use to save space like that? In our personal experience, we don't see a significant difference in foil quality based on the brand of foil. I have linked in the description a brand of foil we've personally used in the past. They sell a wide variety of foil colors in a smaller amount that is perfect for personal use. We don't disclose our current foil manufacturer because they only sell foil in bulk, and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone who doesn't need that much. x
Thank you so much for sharing this! I was wondering, how is it possible for you silhouette to scan the marks on the clear paper? With my silhouette it doesn’t work! I always have to make little corners with white sticker paper so my machine can scan them. 💕
Our portrait 1's also have some trouble scanning sometimes- usually, it's because the clear glossy sticker paper reflects light which interferes with the scanning. We try different placements of the cutting mat when loading it onto the silhouette machine. Another trick we'll do is to lift up the cutting mat while it's trying to scan the first corner- this seems to help the clear paper from reflecting light.
I thought this was going to help me make stickers on my cricut. I didn't understand why we need a laminator? Why not just use the cricut foil tool? Also the brand of the items.you use would really help.
We don't have experience using a cricut or the cricut foil tool. Thermal lamination works best for us. Everything we used in the video is directly linked in the description!

What's the background song called in this vid? Love it
If I use my inkjet printer (since that is what I have and can currently afford) can I use that to still make foiled stickers? Or do I have to have a laser printer?
Wondering the same thing?
No, it has to be laser printer. Inkjets don't have toner for the foil to stick to.
till now the laminator still working ?? i iuse cameo 4 and i was thinking of buying foil quill but too expensive , what do u think ??
Can you use any laminator to foil? Or does it have to get to a certain temp/have to be an industrial laminator?
Any laminator will work, but if you want a consistently good foil then you might want to consider investing in an industrial laminator.

Toner reactive

Toner is plastic & that's why the foil will stick to it! Inkjet is water/dye based, so the foil won't have anything to adhere to.
