Thanks you Liz! I am a clawhammer banjo player, and just got a fiddle a week ago. Ive been working on scales and bow work, but wanted to play "Angeline the Baker". You made it very easy to do. I printed off blank fiddle tabs and filled em in as you went. Im now playing A the B and it actually sounds good. My wife and daughter have been surprised at how good it sounds so quickly. Your instructions are very good... thanks again. I'm sure I'll be watching many of your videos!

Angelina Baker, Angelina's gone. She left me here to weep a tear and to beat on the ol' jawbone.🎵

I love this tune. I still can't believe how smoothely you play it, and all your tunes. I especially like your treatment of the b part. Thanks! You are the greatest!!

Thank your for this video. I enjoy the way you teach the tune. I am a violist and I could follow along (transposing a fifth down).

Liz, it looks like you are just hanging out, enjoying the music like you were listening on your phone, but your arms are playing, it's so effortless! Someday I hope to get almost that good.

Agréable à écouter. C'est dommage que vous ne mettiez pas les accords d'accompagnement.
Nice to listen to. It's a pity that you don't put the accompanying chords.

What violin are you playing? It sounds so smooth and warm. I'm sure that is mostly to do with your own playing but it's such a lovely looking instrument!

Hi Liz. I just found your channel and it's great. Very helpful and valuable content. Would you consider to make tutorial video how to play Farewell to Erin on the fiddle? Have a good day.

I’m confused. You say the tune is in the key of D, but you seem to be playing it in A. I mean, it starts and ends on A. Although there’s no G or G# played in the tune, which I believe would define the difference between D (with a G natural) and A (with a G sharp). But wait… I just tried chording along with my ukulele and the chords that work seem to be D and G. So would this be D Mixolydian?

Tune in A Myxolyfian built von the 5th degree of the D scale therefore the notes are
      A, B C#, D,E,F#,G,A.
