Also the same writer wrote it. Thats why Daxter’s character is spot on. TLF was written by the same writer but HIG heavily altered the script thats why Daxters humor is not like the other games and characters act out of character at times

@@WllKiedSnake Neil Druckmann wrote the original plot to TLF and the script was made bt Dan Arey original script writer of the trilogy. But once it got handed to HIG they kept the same plot structure but changed the script. So the plot idea is the same but changed quite a bit. Dark Daxter was invented by High Impact for instance
Ready at Dawn's legacy started there. They also worked on the two prequel prequel God of War games for the PSP, which were praised for basically enhancing the original God of War games in terms of lore and story.
I dont even care if it's not Naughty Dog, aslong as it's done right, give us Jak 4

I don't really think there's anywhere else to go with the Jak franchise. The best they could do is give us a precursor legacy sequel that takes place in the middle of Jak 1 and 2 and just make it a pretty artsy type game.
Insomniac. I've always maintained that they're best fit for adopting the Jak and Daxter franchise.
@@austinleong3319jak is a more mature series than ratchet, especially now with their recent games. wouldn't really fit the vibe but gameplay wise I'm sure would be fun.
This month just gets better and better! Daxter was my favorite PSP game growing up. I would ask my dad to borrow his PSP, so I could play it when playing through the Jak and Daxter series. To this day, it's still a great game that's held up well and I'm so happy it's finally coming to consoles! Really happy every Jak and Daxter game is available to play on the PS5. Makes me hopeful this might inspire a possible comeback for the dynamic duo.

Sony should work with the open goal guys to bring their ports of 1, 2 and eventually 3 to consoles since they run better than the ps3 & 4 versions

@@WhiteGamerGuy1337 do they have it for JAK 3, I was able to do it for 2 cause some of the orbs straight up glitched out, but haven’t tried 3 yet
@TYfariguy It still works in Jak 3, BUT you need to acquire 300 precursor orbs before turning on Debug Mode, otherwise the trophies won't unlock.

I would really love it if they ported some of the older Ratchet & Clank games to Ps2 classics or w/e its called. I think I really remember liking Ratchet: Deadlocked. I still own a ps3 w/ some awesome games, so I'm covered mostly for the other Ratchet & Clank games.
Daxter was one of my fave games on psp. I remember listening to p.o.d. on my Walkman, and playing it while on road trips with my family.
Lost Frontier actually released on both systems at the same time. I bought both versions on release day lol

Even though I love Sly and Jak, I'm mostly buying these in the hopes of getting God of War and Ratchet PS5 ports.
Lezzz gooooo i last played this a few years back for the first time on my laptop in ppsspp and man it was a lot better than imagined. Jak series is pure gold. Just another game to hold me until Missing Link
I feel like people hate on Lost Frontier way too much. It's not a great game but it's not a bad game either. It's just an okay game. I think people overreact and call it terrible when it's really just that it didn't live up to the expectations. To be honest I don't think Jak X, Daxter, or Lost Frontier are particularly great games. I think they're all just okay games, and that the last great one was Jak 3.
I have it on my phone but I will gladly play it again on ps5
If only they would remake the original trilogy with modern graphics. That's all I want from Naughty Dog.
You know what I'd like to see as a PSP game in the classics catalog? Both Dissidia Final Fantasy games. I have fond memories of those games, I do.

I wish we got a alternate timeline of Jak and Daxter where they didn't go to the Future or maybe if Jak was never sent to the past

Should just reboot the series and make Jak & Daxter Precursors Legacy a big open island you can also use the hover bike across.
Fun fact: If you got it on ps3 or psp then you can add it for free on ps5.

I want all the PS2, PS3 and Handheld games on the PS4/5. That series sells gangbusters and its a miss opportunity that they didn't sell those games sooner
All of the Jak & Daxter games are playable and all upscaled on the PS Vita all for free
A little out of order putting The Lost Frontier on there first before Daxter, but I’ll take it!
I have never played the jak games but i did play daxter a lot on my psp when was a kid so I'm excited to try playing it again
Absolutely loved Dexter I think I finished the game 100% can't remember. Geez one of the best psp games ever.
I have noticed that Clone Wars is the only game to actually uprender. It looks 1440p, but I'm not sure. Sly Racoon and Tomb Raider Legends is definitely not uprendering correctly.

Unfortunately it is just a laggy port. Originals don't have that amount of lag.
Bully, GTA 3-SA, Jak 1-3-X are all badly ported.
Even have reverse movement cameras and only X is known to play normally on PS5.
They didn't even bother with quality like Microsoft did with RDR on XBOX One X making it into 4K.
Would be good if they hired Double Eleven to do ports because they did terrific job with RDR, adding 4K and 60 fps.
Even fixed the bugs what original game had (headless zombies and NPC's turn hostile in UN).
Awww man I want to replay all jak and daxter games again when daxter is released...but...but Elden Ring will be calling me when SOTE is released 2 days later

I cannot express how much i love these games and how much they were my childhood. And i would LOVE to see a Jak 4. But....not by naughty dog. I wouldnt trust them with it anymore.

I am hoping that we get the other Sly games to ps4 and ps5 along with all God Of War games and every Ratchet and Clank game from ps2, PSP and ps3 and I don't care if the release them all together for $50 or $60 I will gladly spend all my money to have all thses games
Consider how buddy-buddy Sony is with Disney. Monster Inc Scream Team isn't far fetched for a re-release. Sony themselves did publish it after all.

PlayStation 2 titles can be purchased by themselves as such are not tied Premium though are released there for subscribers

While this is great, the PSP Emulator has a ton of better options than Sony's own output when it comes to Emulation.
You could say this about any other emulator except for Xbox.

@@OfficialRaveBlitz DuckStation is also fantastic, and has bunch of features. But, I’m saying that official emulators from Sony or Nintendo aren’t gonna be as good as open-source ones that are updated daily.
