Growing up, I always imagined that my PS3 was a spaceship and the characters from all the games I played on the PS3 roamed around like in the Mos Eisley Cantina. This looks like my dream coming to life and I’m all for it!
What the PlayStation 5 needed all along. Also as a recent fan of Parappa the rapper I screamed when I saw his cameo, cause he hasn't appeared in the video game industry for quite awhile. Even without the cameo, I still would try this game out, cause it gives me Mario odyssey/galaxy vibes😊
It makes me wonder how will Team Asobi handle the cameos now that the bots have proper costumes, I'm more curious about Vibri out of all of them, perhaps the Imps. I'm not convinced that there will be cuts but I think these cameos will be handled differently, like the VIP bots you rescue from boss fights will have the grander focus. Anyways, rambles aside, I'm excited for this game, Astro Bot made me want a PS5 and only time will tell on how will I get it.
I hope we get to see a helldiver bot in the game. Helldivers is pretty new, so the timing is probably not going to let it happen at launch. The free dlc does give me hope though.
9:44 this could be the screen to the final boss and the player going into it. In rescue mission there is a red vortex portal thingy for the final boss and this might be the same thing. Just guessing from the red smoke peeking from the top of the screen
I hope there is a Persona 5 reference in the game, featuring its protagonist, with a bot dressed as Ren Amamyia i.e Joker alongside his persona Arcene Alternatively, a Persona 3 reference, with a bot dressed as ots protagonist, Makoto Yuki, weilding an Evoker gun with Ortheus or Thanatos persona with them

I would love to experience Rescue Mission again - it’s utterly glorious and one of my all time favourite gaming experiences because of how brilliantly the Vr mechanics are worked in. I distinctly remember going to hold my breath the first time we followed Astro underwater in VR - it was brilliant. And the soundtrack is joyous.

There's only a Physical Standard edition but I'm sure once the game comes out there will be a separate "Digital Deluxe Pack" for $10 on the PSN Store that'll give physical owners the ability to earn the deluxe goodies without having to buy the whole game again

I tried to beat Astro bot rescue mission for the psvr 1, but I didn’t like 3d play forming with the headset as the camera, so I just stopped playing it.
I just hope the dualsense features and gimmicks are not mandatory. I just wanna play the game as a cute charming platformer game without fancy gimmicks. Give us an option to turn off the gimmick crap.🙏
