    They park in domestic terminal because Dublin has US pre clearance. Therefore they re classed as domestic arrival and park in domestic terminal

      That makes sense! I’ve taken many international flights (mainly to Asia) but this is the first time I experienced US pre clearance.

      @@spec_egg yeah. Its great advantage. Pre clearance is only in Dublin and Shannon.

    I applaud you for your frugality and stoicism. I've never flown on that long of a flight in anything less than Business class. 😏

    Great review but to tell you about the gates. B-Gates at SFO , 1-3 I think, are swing gates. International flights can arrive there and the passengers walk a sterile corridor over to Immigration. Secondly, Aer Lingus uses the American Airlines lounge which is right around the corner from your flight.

      Aer Lingus flights arrive as domestic arrivals not international as passengers clear US pre clearance customs and immigration in dublin so they just walk straight to the baggage hall..
