- Aer Lingus Travel Vlog | Aer Lingus San Francisco to Dublin on A330-200 (SFO to DUB). Aer Lingus offers many nonstop flights to Ireland from the USA. Aer Lingus was extremely impressive. I will definitely fly Aer Lingus again.

Being proudly Irish in the U.K. 22 years myself, I’m delighted to see that you got to fly with our national airline Aer Lingus to Dublin and experienced our Irish culture - one long-standing tradition of Aer Lingus is that they name their aircraft after Irish Catholic Saints and there is an annual Blessing of the fleet in Dublin Airport - one highlight of our airline’s history was that in September 1979, a specially chartered Aer Lingus B737 carried Pope John Paul II to Dublin from Rome and from Shannon to JFK - in more recent times, Aer Lingus has taken part in Dublin Gay Pride 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪❤️
That is very interesting and important Aer Lingus history. Thank you for sharing!
And glad you enjoyed the video too 😊
Love the insightful commentary 🔥 keep it up bro!
Glad you enjoyed! And I definitely will!
You've done pretty well all-in-all re the food the F.A's served you, awesome flight review there Landon Kissell✈👍
Glad you enjoyed the content! Yes, food was enjoyable. Looking forward to going back
Very detailed review. It was a good watch 😊
So glad you enjoyed!
Great review, you deserve a cigar for a job well done!
thank you!
Thank you for this video. I leave for Ireland in just a few days. It is my longest plane ride and my first time going to another continent. I am tall girl so I am concerned about the leg room, but I will hope for the best.
Firstly, enjoy your trip!!! I am sure it will be amazing! Hopefully the plane ride will be smooth. Leg room should be decent even for a very tall person. It will not be luxury but at least it will not be misery.
If you need any suggestions on Ireland, feel free to let me know😊
😂 yeah I'm from Ireland myself you should go there it's a nice beautiful green country and it's one of the greenest countries in Europe
I spent a decent amount time in Ireland and I loved every part of it. Such a great country!
JFK has an outside terrace area in T5, it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it
Wow I did not know that. I definitely will check it out. Thank you for letting me know!
Thay have a new livery... it's still nice tho
Compared to the one used in the thumbnail, or from the footage from the video?
@@landonkissellPersonally, I dislike the newer Aer Lingus livery - on some of their A320 & A321 aircraft they have the 1960’s retro livery from my parents generation and this is much more impressive, as are some of the historical Aer Lingus cabin crew uniforms and flight bags showcasing the earlier historical Aer Lingus logos 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪❤️
@@michaeljohndennis2231 I love when airlines (and companies in general) really incorporate their history into their design
heyyy landon! 🤗🤗I was just reminiscing about last night and i just wanted to say, i throughly enjoyed your livestream! 🥺👏 It really did brighten my day and i learned a lot! 🥰🫠 you should definitely consider going live more often (maybe once a week 🙏🤗) to discuss your week and life! i know we’d all enjoy it‼️🙈 it would also help increase engagement for your channel! 😜😜 As a former colllege student (i did only go to a local college in kansas with my good good friend🤣 🤣) i realize it’s difficult to manage everything! however, you seem spectacular and i believe you can do it! 🎉🎉
I am so glad that you enjoyed the livestream and that you learned a lot! I can definitely make sure I have them frequently -- it would be very fun. I am willing to have them on any topic travel related.
And thanks for checking my Aer Lingus video too!
Did you notice any difference in leg room for seats closer to the front vs the back? Thanks
Nope I did not. I believe it is identical. Only difference is if you sit in premium economy versus regular economy which you’ll have to pay more for premium
Aer Lingus retains its ties to ireland but its a private company now its no longer owned by the government
gotcha, thanks!
May I ask, what date did you take this flight?
This flight was in early January
Yes aer lingus is irelands national airline but ryan air is irelands national budget airline carrier😊😊😊
do you enjoy Ryanair? I’ve heard many horror stories but it’s hard to beat those prices! I flew it (and will have a video coming out soon) - there were some problems and chaos haha but the airfare was still too good to complain
@@landonkissell ryan air is probally the most popular budget airline in europe and always has been so it must be doing something right😁
@@gerarddeegan1164one thing I am very impressed with is their on time performance. The fact that it’s one of the highest in the world!
In the US, our budget airlines are a complete mess and have very low on time performance. They are definitely doing things right
@@landonkissell 🌍🌎🌏✈🛩🛫🙂
You can carry on a backpack? I was watching a video that said they don’t allow a rucksack.
It can depend on the fare you chose, the cheapest fares allow a carry-on sized bag at no extra cost but it is checked into the hold at the gate upon boarding
I bought the cheapest fare and I was allowed a backpack and a carry on suitcase.
This was a transatlantic flight though. Not sure what the requirements would be if you are flying within Europe.
@@landonkissell I’ll be flying Seattle to Dublin not sure what we’re choosing for arrangements yet. But thank you so much for the tips.
@@kelleenrossman7781 of course! And I hope you enjoy your flight and your time in Ireland. If there is any specific information you need help on, feel free to let me know😊
Is there US charging ports for cell phones?
They have the USB type A port which is good. I don’t remember if they have the two prong one though
do they offered snack with drink before main meal and what about mid flight snack?
for the overnight flight they gave us our main meal with a drink (no snack before), and then another meal for breakfast with a drink. On the return day flight, they gave us an in-flight meal, followed by a small bag of pretzels before landing
EI-GCF is an A330-300
the one I flew though was an A330-200
@@landonkissellEI-GCF is not an A330-200 it’s an A330-300 I see her everyday as II work for the company.
@@landonkissell u said a330-300 when u were boarding
