- For years I watched as Business Class passengers boarded first and I always wondered, "What's that experience like?" Well after almost a year of planning, my FIRST flight review video is here!
COST: For this flight I bought a base economy fare at €525rt and used 70,000 avios (35k each way) to upgrade to business.

I wouldn’t say it’s the first time you’re doing this. Looks like you know what you’re doing and you’re so much fun! As a cabin crew myself, thanks for not recording cabin crews faces or voices, some ppl do it and just post it on the internet without permission, besides rude it’s illegal. You did a great job!

I just stumbled upon your video this evening. I have been flying for fifty years and it was so refreshing to watch your excitement. I do, especially since I am older like booking Business Class especially for the extra room and comfort. Have flown with Aer Lingus many times and have always had great cabin crew, meals and flights. I just subscribed to your channel and do hope you will have posted more.🍀🍀✈️✨

Going to Dublin is on my bucket list via AL in Business class, because I am disabled with scoliosis and could not fly overnight in an economy seat; that would kill me.

Thank you for this. I absolutely loved it and it has really helped me. I will be flying business class for first time too this year to visit my Son and Grandchildren in San Francisco. I’m 65 now and can no longer travel long haul with my legs down as I’m at very high risk of DVT. Saving for Business Class has been a challenge and Aer Lingus was the only airline I could afford and was so worried it might not be a good choice. You’ve put all my fears aside. Congratulations on your first business class! I wonder if Aer Lingus still does their departure and arrival announcements in Gaelic any more. I flew to Ireland 3 times, twice on Aer Lingus from Chicago to Dublin, and I literally cried when we landed and left. Ireland is such a beautiful country! If they still do the announcements as I stated would you please consider playing it? You're a joy! Namaste, and wishing you all the best.

Great video, how did you find the last row. I am heading to Orlando in March and seated in the last row of Business. Is there a lot of noise from Galley or bathrooms ?
Hey Ryan! Sorry for the delay! The last row was actually grand. I've sat in the last row plenty of times and to be honest, I don't really notice a difference because the toilets are usually at the front of the cabin. Enjoy your trip to Orlando! Let me know how it goes!

Hey John! Not sure how things will change due to covid but my journey from LAX - DUB was AMAZING! 11 hours of pure luxury with a lie-flat seat! The food onboard is really superb and the LAX/SFO are the only flights that include a full Irish Breakfast! 😋 This flight is by far the best value! When are you travelling? Would love to know what you think! - B
What I appreciated most, was the excitement you had, and that you paid for it yourself. So many of the travel vloggers say….and it just cost me “X” amount of points. Yea great, but a lot of us don’t have unlimited points in our accounts. Also, I rarely find that I can book the flights for that “little amount of points/miles”.
Why didn't you go to the 51st and Green lounge after the U.S. pre-flight clearance? It's much nicer, has a great hot and cold food selection, great seating with views of the runways and you're virtually right next to your departure gate.

Green lounge is for all the Leprechauns or what
US preclearance is for US only (not Canadian destinations) Aer Lingus rocks its a shame non stop service to Montreal was postponed

Still a great video. With a few tweaks and a cooler presentation format, you could be a great. Happy to discuss. Maybe 'eats, treats and sleepzs' and go into huge details on those. 3 good, 3 bad things.
Register as an agent and sell your direct experience.
Maybe weigh the food and amenity on mini scales.

He went down T2 escalator then to the DAA lounge. Then onto T1 for the Toronto Flight. There is no Pre Clearance for Canada (which takes off from T1). There is only Pre Clearance for the US from T2. The 51st and Green is only available to those travelling to the US from T2.
It’s my first time to fly ever and first time to fly with airligus from Dublin to JFK America was it expensive !
SKULL FACE The fare was only €500 return with Aer Lingus and I used 35,000 avios to upgrade to Business! I thought it was good value.

Well for starters, the Business Class seat is a game changer from economy. It reclines, it has a massage function and LOADS of storage.
The in-flight entertainment is also very good with a much larger screen and noise cancelling headphones.
The food on board is also very good. Large selections of wine that are specifically paired for each dish, 3 course meal and plenty more!
Definitely worth the 35,000 avios!

Good first shot. I hope by now you have gotten less wordy. But your assessment at the end was spot on. I flew Aer Lingus Montreal to Dublin and it was remarkably good. Great food, lovely service and oh did I sleep. There is even a massage engine in the seat! Work on your presentation skills and you will go far.
