Is there a PDF for this? I'd like something to look at while I'm installing, and I can't carry a video out, and if I had a tablet, stopping and starting it would be a pain. Also, I have a 27.5 inch Schwinn Swindler. Will it fit on that size wheel?
What type of bicycle are you installing it on? Can you install it on a full suspension hybrid where that is not much of a connection 2 Bolt down to in the back. I would think you would prefer a mountain bike over a cruiser for a rear mount due to the fact that on a cruiser man and motor sit directly over the Wheel and Tire where on a mountain bike or full suspension a man pretends to be meaning part of his load towards the front
An order for a new shipment has already been placed. We are currently waiting on shipping from the manufacture. Check in with our customer service representatives within a few weeks.
What's this siphon hose? I have to buy it separate? I don't see instructions for this either. You really do need a PDF. It would save answering a lot of questions.
Jim Mooney thats to suck out of motor for oil changes not necessary for this set up drain plug is easy to access not included makes oil changes easier for the kits where motor is mounted in the frame dont get frame mounted 4 stroke the gearboxes fail often do good to get 3-400 out of them then your spending $80-$90 on new gearbox friction drive is better less parts means lower maintenance
if you get one of these upgrade the throttle the ones that come with the kits are junk also no good in the rain roller spins when wet otherwise nice kit much less maintance then the 2 strokes and way easier to install add a fuel filter gas tanks tend to be rusty on inside worth the couple bucks to save your carb from getting plugged ive got. 300 trouble free miles on mine so far
+Andrew Agustin Just watched the review and it was awesome! Glad you enjoy the engine kit. I recommend filing the teeth on the Friction Drive Roller to make them smoother so you can increase your tire's life.
I looked at your site, but never saw any reviews of this kit. Looked in videos and in channel and could not find what you said about it. Did you remove the review?
Hidaz // Gaming if you can find room for a extra brake style lever order a clutch lever fir one of the two stroke kits or ive heard of people useing a thumb throttle from a atv should be able to find one online pretty cheap
Does anyone know how to tune these engines to have a good idle, mine has a hard time staying running and ive adjusted the idle control screw with no success, any help would be apreciated. Thanks!
put the idle screw back to how it was when you first got it, try that, then if that doesnt work, untighten it by a HAIR! dont move it for an entire spin, not even a half, just a very very small bit
“LOCK AND LOAD AND GET READY TO SNAP CLUTCH BELLS AT $16 A POP” Put a 100 miles approximately and already snapped 2. Time to re-engineer the original to actually last. Damn fun cruising at 25 and topping out at 30. That engine on the side makes it unstable over bumpy stuff and breaking distance is increased with weight. Only getting about 25 miles before I refill tank even though it’s not nearly empty it won’t run partially full.
On my long support bars, they are not cut at any angle at all. I have looked at all sides of them and front and back and there simply is no diagonal cut to the openings on either of them. Also, my kit does not have the same exact assembly to the quick release lock on the back. The spacers are not round as in the video, but are rectangles with enlarged edges to each of them. The video is actually very dark as this assembly process is being shown for that release lock and the bolts assembled with it. You guys really need to address questions as well as make a newer, updated video of this assembly.
Chase Hunt | hello chase, sorry to disappoint you, but our product does not ship with mothers. We recommend using a dating app in order to fulfil your needs.
Mollettj100 Great question! Think of it as an automatic clutch. When you stop, the engine will still run. If you want to turn it off, simply hit the kill switch. Hope this helps! :)
Yep! The clutch is activated when you accelerate with the throttle. The clutch pads widen and grips the clutch bell housing while giving throttle. It then resets (by clutch springs) when you slow down. Makes sense?
dont go by the dipstick fill until oil is up to the threds that the dipstick screws into that's what the instructions that come with the engine say to do if you go by the dipstick you wont have enough oil in your engine
@@wildman6247 Hey guys, im looking to buy some break in oil, but im looking for alternatives at autozone or oriyles, can yall recommend anything other than maxima ?

I bought the kit w/bike, did not RECEIVE all parts, received some wrong parts, waited extra WEEK for gas tank because they didn't send it,still did not RECEIVE fuel valve but tired of dealing with company, just ordered from Amazon
The redistribution of significant weight to the high left rear side of this bike is somewhat of a significant state of instability or off-balance operation. It should run just fine, however it would be good to consider the differences compared to a normal weight distribution of a basic bike.
this small 12 pound motor, lol the bike weights more than the motor ,you clearly never ridden a bike with a motor they all have different center of gravity,
Cant find answer to this question anywhere!!! Can you ride the bike normally without running the engine!?!?!?! You know just pedal around until you feel like firing up the motor
We would not recommend fitting our engines on anything smaller than a 26 inch tire bike, as the smaller bike geometry would likely place the engine against the rider, increasing the possibility of injury and burns from the engine.
Don't buy from bokeberry they won't stand by they're warranty.i spent over 1000 Dollars on bike frame broke in half after 8days with one yr warranty and they never made it up.
I have one of these, and have had no problems. I've had a number of motorized engine kits. I found the frame mount kits to be junk. Not only is the engine junk, but it is almost impossible to mount it on many bikes, the rag joint rear sprocket sucks, and the chainstay mount tensioner is super dangerous (I have the scars to prove it) No problems with the friction drive kit. Only real limitation is it doesn't work in the rain, but it doesn't rain where I live. You need a fairly smooth rear tire, the tire needs to be properly inflated, and you need to get the roller tension against the tire right. I have not noticed excessive tire wear. I am 250 pounds, and have had no problems with the clutch. You have to pedal a few times to get it going. The clutch is not designed to take off from a dead stop. Once moving it purrs right along. I would not suggest putting a motor kit on any bike that does not have a front brake. A coaster brake only works up to about 5 mph. A front V brake will stand the bike on it's nose at 20 mph.
Sorry buy that's a restricted motor rev limiter needs to be removed from the engine a.k.a old CDI ignition coil and flywheel and swapped it out with honda ignition coil and flywheel and now it's a powerful Motor
yes, the "oil tank" was actually a gas tank for someone elses order, for the smaller size friction drive, that got added to mine. there is just a tiny built in oil tank.
i hate how they show 2-3feet of fuel line tubing when in reality they only ship you about a foot at best making damn near impossible to mount the tank they give you
As engaging as such a "quick and easy installation" video might be, I see a distinct lack of commentary regarding various practical issues. What is the fuel tank capacity? What range does this offer? What routine maintenance matters (aside from oil change and spark plug change) should be undertaken? What is the carrying capacity of this engine (i.e., size of operator)? How does this friction drive effect tire life? Push come to shove, what is a realistic life expectancy for such an engine? At the proverbial bottom line, more or less how many miles would an engine like this be expected to last? One problem I see is the lack of accommodation (short of a backpack) for actually carrying anything. While a small tool bag might be mounted on the handle bar, what arrangements can be made for safely carrying: (1) additional fuel; and (2) anything else for that matter? Contending with the "real world" (and let's face it -- there are no end of folks who would love to "rip off" such a bike) I would suggest that a sturdy cable lock be carried by anyone who spends the money to build one of these.
Don Ball 80_90miles a gallon about 80 out of a tank of gas change oil every 50 hours replace clutch as needed clutch life and engine life will vary depending one how hard you run it how hilly your area is and weight of rider wnd bike once you learn to adjust roller pressure on tire about a 1000 miles for your rear tire not good for wet weather roller spins when wet upgrade throttle handle great little setup for dry weather riding will do 30 mph
+Egalitarian Permaculturist Actually the clutch only engages at around 4000 rpm so you need to pedal hard up until the engine has exceeded 4000 rpm then the clutch will be fully engaged and will not slip. If you just want to sit there and creep around at 5km/h then yes you will burn it out.
