This gas bike kit comes with everything you need to make your own motorized bicycle. It's the easiest and quickest way to go from 0-20mph on a bicycle!
A similar engine called the Power Pak was popular in the UK in the 1950s. There were special steel reinforced tyres for use with it, as standard cycle tyres would just wear away in no time. The cord casing of the tyre was strengthened by having steel threads woven into it. The rubber was tougher and much thicker than normal cycle tyres. My father used to go to work on one and the rear tyre would last about a year. One big bonus, the tyre was virtually puncture proof because the steel reinforcement prevented sharp objects from penetrating.
Those tyre, and many other puncture resistant tyres, are still readily available. We encourage every rider to customize their bikes as much as possible to fit their budget and needs. We provide this engine by itself to keep costs down for our customers.
A guy needs to get that penetration going.
AHHHHH !!!! The memories I used to see these in the 1950's .In those days you could pass your driving test with one of these then go out and buy a 1000cc motor cycle if you wanted
See above comment. I had the 'CycleMaster'.
I didn't think they had 1000cc motorcycles in the 1950s 🤔
Miguel Salami there’s no way he was around and riding motor cycles in the 50s
@@miguelsalami Harley Davidson and Indian were making 1000cc motorcycles in the mid 1910s.
@@mikemarler8224 In 1910 Harley Davidson only had a 440cc Single Cylinder Engine that produced about 4hp. They hadn't even developed the VTwin yet.
These were quite popular in the mid 50's in the UK, and my Dad had a 'Trojan' Mini-Motor, and my first 'motorised bike was a 32cc "Cyclemaster" - The fun we had then.
Cycle master is still around too
I've ordered one time from BikeBerry. Spent almost $300. I was sent a 49cc Lock and Load engine kit....missing crucial pieces. Like the Stilts. The gas cap. Extra Fuel line I paid for. As well as multiple bolts, washers, and spacers to mount the engine AND to assemble the brackets. After receiving SOME of my missing parts in a second shipment, I STILL have yet to get the bolts and washers that were missing. A 3rd shipment is on the way to rectify my original order but I've seen in my email that it's STILLLLLL not all my missing bolts, washers, and spacers!!! I'm NOW going to have to hassle BikeBerry 4 a 4th shipment...which will HOPEFULLY FINALLY have my remaining bolts, washers, and spacers. Very, VERY disappointing experience thus far.
That's why you should make it yourself
Great video well explained and nice to see a video with no crap music in the background Perfect
What a excellent video in perfect English and perfect simplicity. Going to buy one of these.
I appreciate a professional's view at installing a bicycle motor. Most people however cringe rather at the cost of installation than a RUclips video! Thats why they do it themselves! Thanks.
Thats a good little kit. I put one of those kit on a 12 inch kids bike and it topped out at 36 mph. it took some welding to do but that things was a blast.
This definitely going to aid in tire wear
You can always get thicker tires
No it’s not
How is it in the rain does friction mechanism slip on the tire?
Exactly what i was thi king
bicycle tires cost as much as a meal. lmfao
I'm a 65 year old. I started with a Mach 10 chainsaw motor. It was direct drive chain, left index finger control throttle, drag foot brakes. To start it, picked up the back wheel, run and jump on. (45-50 mph)
Mathew Winney I put a mac 10a on my home lite go cart. Only lasted 10 mins until I broke the crank ,but what I great 10 minutes. ...lol
I liked the instructions even if they were read. Looks like it would fun to ride . Thanks for the video
I kinda remember a fiction drive with a motordirectly over the wheel. Does anyone remember ever seeing one of these. I also remember from Pawn Stars someone was selling a classic banana seat, bike with a friction drive on the front wheel.
Thank you for a guide daddy I cannot find others for the life of me that are this professional
We had clip on motors in the 1950's here in UK and they were legal then. Same friction drive principle too.
yeah they called em stink wheels. most likely not legal now.
Is anything legal there?
Apparently not even jokes...
@@MrRPM110
In the UK, they took away the guns, motorized bicycles, and now they send you to jail for a mean social media post. At least they still have their foresklns.
We had "kits" here in USA in the '80s called "aqua bug". Mounted on FRONT wheel using dual drive on side of tire, similar to caliper brakes. The kits were priced at about $100 USD!
You bro, you explained that well✅👍‼️the only thing is the balance of the bike will be on the left side of the bike making it a bit unbalanced. I give you props on the project and the video is good
i can only dream for this thing. Its really awesome. I love it!!!

wow so nice and easy look cool
LS swap it
PlokTheMasterGamer slam it on tarmacs and daily it
that would be haggard hehe

Looks like a blast!,might have to go get one and have a lil fun!,thank you
They certainly are a blast! Let us know if you need any help with any products or information.
great video & reviews, i've been shopping for a bike engine/motor, this'll fit my fat tire bike, i'm Stoked.
Did u puy it on ????
I'm still trying to cut off my handle bar with a box cutter 🤓
Miguel Salami you caught that too huh lol
I heard that also. But if you are still working on it, wear a helmet, like all the time.
Push harder.
@@Paul-ou1rx I heard him too........"cut off the handlebars". It took a LONG TIME using the standard blade, job went much faster with a "serrated titanium" blade! BE SAFE, ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTION!
Ikr. They slip right off with force, lube or compressed air. That’s just stupid
This is so cool but sadly here in Britain it would be illegal :( Our government wants fewer cars on the road but if you come up with an innovative idea like this that cuts pollution and gets over 200mpg despite not exceeding 20 mph, it's not allowed. British government don't like it because they can't rip us off with tax. The laws here in Britain suck.
ELPaso1990TX Same here in Ireland man, crippled with tax
ELPaso1990TX For what I hear on Britain it's horrible, we feel like we are suffocating in the USA, but Britain is like " can't take no more" my question is: What are you still doing in Britain? ?? Move to USA or Canada, and forget the kind of oppression, and being forced to live in more poverty than we here are. Come, don't wait any longer if you are a hard worker, you just owe it to your self
Yup, just remember we have Trump here😭
Salvador Sanchez Salvador and what do you think, I am against Trump??? No. You little stinkers are making Texas into swamp place. Why? I will tell you. Back in time I was at Laredo TX, and at the post office mailing a package. I was the only one on the post office. The Mexican girl there stopped serving me as soon as a Mexican walked in. And proceeded to serve the Mexican right over my head! She continued to serve me, only after she served the Mexican. You Mexican guys make USA look like a shit hole by doing this, and you want me to oppose Trump for why he doesn't want Mexicans??? You are largely delusional on that. I have never ever seen anything like this from any other origin of people but Mexican... Why be so ***** ???
On the opposite when Mexicans cried to me to Jumpstart their semi truck, I did. Most semi trucks are impossible to jumpstart, I charged their batteries on high for about 30 minutes and their truck started.
That is how I treated Mexicans in Texas, but you guys, oftentimes act despicably...
Yup, there goes again a loyal Trump supporter against Mexicans insulting a whole nationality just because he saw a Hispanic person (BTW, I was born in USA) making a comment against his favorite "politician", I won't deny there are some very despicable Mexicans out there that don't deserve to be here, but the same goes for a white, black, yellow, or any other non white people. I have had very, very bad encounters with disgusting white people, but I will obviously not hate them and generalize because of actions they did. It is your choice deciding to follow or not President Trump, but please stop having the idea that everyone is like the few people you had bad experiences here. I am delusional yo say???? I only stated the truth, we have Trump here, whether it is a good or bad thing. You are inviting a foreigner to come to this country, without even knowing him. He might be Muslim, who knows. If so, most likely he wont be allowed. What if he happened to be Mexican?? Will you now hate him??? Think about it, seriously. Anyways, learn how to take a joke dude, remember that the more you stress about things, the fastest you get old. Going back to the video, I loved that engine kit!!!!!!!!!!
Great video, well done.
I have made one I live in n Wales no problem with back tyre it's well good fun 👍
I just installed my CR500 on my bmx...tomorrow I'll take it to the track see if rips
hahahaha
You`re awesome! your awsome fore even thinging that
You`re awesome! Can you post a video?
Bruh, thats such bullshit hahah. WOuld be cool tho

Order about 50 back tyres.
My thoughts exactly lol as well as some inner tubes those will be more vunerable

Awesome video! 👍
So here are the tools you'll need. Now watch us install it with different tools. Oh and you'll need a tape measure and marker. But they weren't important enough to list in what you'll need. Oh and don't forget that you need oil.
Scott O lol than he said press the power button like its called a primmer bulb lol
and dont forget your portable drill
ไมตรี
Don’t forget your needle nose pliers which are now wire strippers
Don't forget a bike it actually fits om
was the first clip sped up??? looks like an unbelievable amount of power from a 38cc
All about drive ratios. I have a 23cc engine on a scooter that will do 40 mph. Short drive ratio, massive 18k rpm redline makes for alot of speed.
Thanks for the information.
Super clever engineering
Very impressive and informative video . Can a piece of thick hose pipe on friction drive shaft help reduce wear and tear of tyre due to rubber to rubber contact instead of rubber to metal contact. Please do so and make a video .
then it will spin itself instead of wheel
@@rubo1964 may be . May be not . Actually we do this on drive shafts of motors to avoid direct metal to rubber contact . The rubber pipe needs to be tightly fit .
This design dates back to the 1960's. A good design that works. But the tire used as the drive tire will wear out prematurely. If you don't mind buying new tires, good way to go.
Thanks it was very helpful
Very concise, thankyou !
Def getting one of these my next go-around. So much easier to install!
James Ashford if it doesn't fully fit your bike within the 30 days return it immediately
Nice, but does it have v-tec
Remove rev limiter and yeah, you do
Probably not cause it's not Honda

🙏🥰👍
It seems to me that you would be replacing a lot of rear tires. Also when you make up a wiring joint that will be exposed to the elements (heat and rain mainly) electrical tape is not going to hold for very long. You'd be better off soldering and wrapping the wires in heatshrink. At the very least a waterproof wire nut.
You’ve never heard of wrapping or using a lighter to strengthen the bond of the tape? I would say for it’s purpose of just a bike motor it wouldn’t harm it unless you intend on riding it in the rain.
@@nickh2647 if you've got a wrap that is designed to be exposed to the elements and waterproof, sure. No I have never heard of "strengthening the bond" with a lighter. If you're heating electrical tape that's the opposite of strength. My original point was to keep water out. Electrical tape is not waterproof.
@@Avaddon911 electronic tape is not waterproof but heating it helps the bond stick better. Unless you’re really want to be technical and you like to be overkill with solder by all means take the extra time.
@@nickh2647 well I'm an electrician so yes I'll take the extra time and do it right.
@@nickh2647 also, while we're at it. Heat does not help the bond of electrical tape. It just makes it get brittle faster. Most electrical tape is rated for under 200° f
i had one of these kits years ago, cant ride when the roads are wet. lol
Pretty par for the course for friction-drives
very cool bikes
I love this kit it was the first BikeBerry engine I started with and I custom mounted it on a 26 inch mountain bike with
suspension front and rear it was a really nice and EZ kit for me to start with and then my daughter got it stolen
man was it the coolest bike I may build another one some day but what I have now is build 3 of the OCC chopper bike I
would like to submit a video of it for you to see and show it off a lil bit 49 cc all stock engine I'm breaking in slowly
let me know if you want to see my bike in a video and if you do I will make a video today.
Does it ship Worldwide?
AceFullAlex I think so
So can you fit that Predator 708cc engine with these brackets? Asking for a friend :D
yes
It might just RIP the frame into pieces
NO! the 708 is a VERTICAL SHAFT engine. The 624cc would fit, BUT wouldn't last very long. The crank rides on PLAIN SLEEVE BUSHINGS, in other words.....JUNK!
oh man, I want this for my bday next month:)
i have an old 2 stroke ryobi leaf blower engine i found on the side of the road it runs but needs some maintenance i also have a frame i found on the side of the road that will fit the engine perfectly and i also have some pulleys and belts for the engine
I used to tell people I found s*** on the side of the road after I stole it good excuse hahaha
i just think this is a good way to chew up your tires.
Hard rubber tires
Ayo folf gang lol
Tire costs become a part of the total cost of operation.
What if we demand using SAE drill bits?
G Philip C You use a 1/32 inch bit for the pilot hole, then a 6/32 or 1/4 bit for the actual hole.
also do you need to have break in oil or can I just use regular 4 stroke engine oil?
i want one....hell for 119 bux cant beat it......buzzing around in ten minutes installation time......heck yeah!
That looks just like my Honda weed eater but black
Known as a "Squeeker Wheel" in the c.1920s England with a hard rubber pinion. Ironically here we are 100 years later
That's PROGRESS for ya!
Very cool, i built one by myself. Lots of fun :)
Good video by the way
nice. now time to build my uber taxi 😁😁
Now make a two wheel drive version.
There are several DIY tutorials and other vendors, such as our friends at gasbike, that carry tricycle conversion kits. Though, these kits are intended for chain drive systems, not a friction drive system.
In Holland we call that a SOLEX. Cool thing, better than a sprocket in your spokes.
Great video friend. How fast does this kit allow you to do?
Cool Vid! Though, am I missing something, or more to the point, are you guy's missing BRAKES here???
this was bugging me the entire time; it looks amazing to make it go but how does it stop...
I imagine you push back on the pedals seeing how the bike has a coaster brake on it.
***** On a motorized bike?? That would be VERY minimal, and dangerous.
its what Harley's had at first and its what that bike has. They were dangerous and stopped working very quickly.
***** Yeah I'll bet! I wouldn't ride it without real brakes. No way.
WHEN WILL THIS AND / OR THE 49cc ONE BE IN STOCK!!!!!??!!!
When the COVID-19 passes, as soon as the Weather warms up!
5:22 lol I thought that place looked familiar, I rented a unit a few years back in that rental storage. Great motor btw. I just don't like how it engages on the tire instead of a sprocket.
Good job
The main issue with this sort of friction drive,( I've had several), is they slip in wet or muddy conditions & tend to eat tires
Not a fan of this friction stuff.... why not chain drive?
Hard rubber tires
Do they have centrifugal clutch and can you help out by peddling? Do you know what I mean?
Hay there do you send to Australia
Pretty cool
This is awesome!
I went to your website computers are cool
Maybe this may works in the back of my car tyre. Each motor for each tyre, it'll become 4wd.

+Roon Ortiz Great question! It goes over 15 MPH and gets around 100 miles per gallon
+BikeBerrycom Is it sold in the UK?
BikeBerrycom Thanks for your reply.
I decided to go for an adult push scooter, because anything that has two wheels and is parked outside gets stolen or vandalised where I live at (Newcastle, UK).
Plus, I think I would need a driver's license for this, which I dont have.
But thanks for your reply.

how long are you going to be OUT OF STOCK?
It says "in stock" now :D
it will be forever , nobody wants it , it is bad for environment ,
pattoe1973 Its not out of stock. I just bought the 49cc model;). And this thing is more efficient most vehicles on the road.. so yea. gg
offcourse it is not out of stock , nobody want it , it is not efficient , electric vehicles such as TESLA'S or electrical bike's only have to be connected to the solar panel for some time , you dont have to pay for the sun!!
pattoe1973 bad luck M8. I will never give up the smell of petrol.
does it make pasta
Very Good!!
wow thats so awesome !! 😀😀u can easily switch to engine and pedal option love it bro!! how to order and how much!! 😊😊😊
what about tyres i think it goes bad easily
+vedat kamanli It will bald out your rear wheel faster than your front because of the rolling pin. We recommend filing down the rolling pin and smooth it out a little bit to increase your wheel life. Keep in mind, that filing it down too much can cause issues with it 'catching' your rear wheel so file it sparingly.
+BikeBerrycom what type of bike did you install the engine on
+BikeBerrycom what type of bike did you use in the video? was it a multi speed bike?
seoulkidd1 No, single speed
Aren't there laws in the UK restricting the riding of any vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine on public roads?
Here in the netherlands also you will need a lisence plate and a drivers license. its a bad idea to drive one around here..
same here in Australia you will cop a unregistered, defective motorbike fine and if you don't have a motorbike licence you will get smacked wit another fine all up $2000+
Don't know how the laws are in the UK but here in the states they don't seem to care much even for those in frame engine motorized bikes. I got around on a beach cruiser for about a year & was only pulled over once for not fully stopping at a stop sign the cop didn't really question the legality of my bike nor did he ask for paper work. Let me off with a warning though because my brakes weren't very good (wink wink) I guess it depends on what kind of cop pull's you over. Suppose I was one of the lucky ones because I've heard of others getting slapped with finds just for driving theirs on public roads. After my motorized beach cruiser failed I built a friction drive mountain bike & been driving that for a year now & never been hassled by the cops for it once. I don't think they can legally impound your bike in most places though. Don't risk it though. Get the bike registered as a moped, always wear a helmet & doesn't hurt to carry a motorcycle license & you should check your local laws.
Modern Leveller it's not in UK in Georgia
All the more successful homeless people in my area have these; no license, no registration, no emissions test, no tax, no helmet, no speed limit and I'm pretty sure you can operate one of these as drunk or as high as you can be in Arizona. Hell, bing homeless in Az. Can be pretty damn nice.
Does the part of the frame where the first mount goes does that part of the frame have to be a certain size ?
How much would the cost be to order all items except the engine as I have access to Honda gx 35 as I'm a technician at a industrial equipment sales and service place
will this work on a fat tired bike?
Don't think it will work for fat tire. Diameter of friction assembly not wide enough for a fat tire i think.
leonf1111
How are you capable of walking without your feet touching the whole planet?
Wear out those bike tires.
Reminds me of the Goped I owned in the early 00s
It is illigal too in Italy. You have to put a plate like a motor cycle. In Slovenia it is aloud
5:04 If you didn't hit the "power button" so many times, it would have been one crank and go.
XD
That's what she said last night...
Ok I'll cut of my handle bar with only a box cutter
With enough effort, anything is possible. Cutting off the handle bar grip isn't necessary, it can be pulled off with a little soap and water. We simply thought cutting the grip off would add a little flare to the video.
BikeBerrycom no you made a mistake you said cut you bars
Air compressors can solve many problems and are often over looked as an essential tool. We unfortunately did not have a working air compressor at the time.
We are aware of what we said, and the intended meaning. We obviously do no intend for anyone try to cut their handle bars with a box cutter, or with any tool for that matter; I would say it is safe to assume most individuals would understand that intended meaning.
