Next Goth dress could be those huge mid-late victorian dresses, seen it called a civil war ball gown? Or could go smaller with Gothic Julliette? Or Medievil rich goth? Certainly could be some kind of renfaires near you to even dress up. Happy Sewing!

My algorithm has never matched me to a video so correctly before in my life. I'm very glad you didn't add the embroidery--it was cute but would have subtracted from the dress. Adding beading into some of the overlay fabric might have made a difference but for a four day make? ain't nobody got time for that. Here's the most important part: THAT DRESS IS CUTE, GIRL. IT'S CUTE. I'm here for any 'but make it goth' content. 10/10

Victorian/Victorian inspired, but make it goth! I feel like so much of the gothic aesthetic/fashion really pulls inspiration from the Victorian era already, so I would love to see what you can do with it. The dress was absolutely stunning!! I’m not a big fan of the regency silhouette either, but I would 100% wear that dress 😊
I have so many Victorian Goth ideas, like my brain is OVERFLOWING! I for sure plan to make Minas Red Dress from Dracula but I also have some of my own designs in mind for Gothic Victorian as well

Thank you so much! I normally give myself more time to do these but the date kind of snuck up on me lol Soo I'm happy I was able to accomplish it. Earrings are a great idea! I was also thinking about ornaments for my Halloween tree. The puppy is Eva, she is super interested in being in my sewing studio normally so when she is in it, I have to grab video lol

Yes yes yes, more goth please Casey. 🙏 I personally love the styles of the late 1770/80's francaise, anglaise and polonaise gowns, and I'm also obsessed with the elaborate swags and pleats of the1890's big bustle era gowns, but anything gothic inspired would be great. I'm sorry to hear that you're getting mean comments online. These cyber bullies are just projecting their own insecurites onto you, and none of these cowards would dare say it to your face.
