i imagine that the higher land value family homes might be for professors working at the university. i doubt they would like some random apartment building far from work, so it makes sense.
Love the high school and college. I think the downtown area can benefit with underground parking too (bigger capacity). Looking forward to next episode!
I never want ur videos to end aahh, such satisfying building technique and style, the road layouts are beautiful and the infrastructure of the city looks very futuristic given what we have, keep it up bro
Always a pleasure to see one of your magnificent builds, Mayr. The targeted asymmetry on both high school and college campus area is truly astonishing. I wish you were the one selected to design and build our country's new capital city. It would've been quite an honor.
Holy mackerel, this development is awesome! I really loved that sunlight spill on the car park area in your downtown, it gives that shimmer of urban glow where, if you align yourselves properly at certain times of the year, you could have your own Stonehenge-like equinox in your downtown block! I also loved the aesthetics of the college area, as well as the high school vicinity. It gives off that vibe of a built-in feel, kind of like, "Yeah, I belong to this neighbourhood, sure it was built for the purpose of the educational institution it was centred around, but it's still _my_ neighbourhood." Keep up the good works!
Your builds are always so satisfying to watch and bring a lot of inspiration. Being in the cybersec industry myself makes this build tickle me that much more. It would be cool to make a power plant facility designed like a large square computer power supply with little circular paths or objects to look like capacitors, and then have all the different power lines running out from one side like cable tucked wires going to the various parts of the motherboard(city)
fantastic inspiration with the layout and asset use. i havent seen many - if any - people use the road uipgrade tools on just one side before (which is often a thing IRL)
I've clicked follow immediately! I was hungry for a content like this for CS2. All my cities were staring to look the same. Literally made me want to go back to CS2. Thnak yoooou
Great build. I would suggest adding some medium density towers next to colleges/universities as dorms. Just make sure they are not super tall. Also try to keep parking lots on side streets as they tend to attract traffic (cars enter to check availability and then come out).
Hello Mr.T4rget, I really like your work. You really make me want to be a great city builder like you. Thank you for creating such amazing work. Thank you.
idk why you're refraining from using mods, but please do! It helps so much. Especially the tree line tool. And legacy flavour to get rid of those annoying white boxes when zoning.
Technically, In real life, high school is the shortest stint of schooling of all the education levels at least in the US. Since there is no preschool or junior high in the game, elementary could be 9 years long, high school would be 4 years, college would be roughly 4 years, and a University could be awhile. So I would say the simulation is “somewhat” on par. Also, there is typically WAY more elementaries/junior high schools around the area that typically all feed into 1 high school. While many think these parts of the sim are bugged, they are actually pretty on point.
Looking at it from that perspective, I suppose it makes sense. But it still feels weird to me that highschool is less populated than college as, where I'm from and I suppose most other places, the first is mandatory for the entire population and the second is optional, making so that the rate of people with college education is way inferior than people with high school education.
Just left you a sub. I like your style of building and your relaxed commentary. With your decoration style of many rowed trees and bushes I highly recomment using mods. There are options for a true line tool, even in circles. Anarchy is also already out and gets new features with every update. Last note, on such a highly populated and densly build on area, you would never find a normal parking lot. Land value is way too high for that and the huge demand would easily justify building a parking garage. Think about it 😊
Welcome! I'd rather not touch mods until the official modding solution is released by the devs. Regarding parking, that makes sense, I'll consider it :)
hey, i love your builds and I am trying to make a European village. Do you know what mods and assets would be good for that? Also, when I use find it, when I place things down it just disappears. Do you know what I should do? its in cities skylines 1
hi target, love your city, may I know what is your thought process on taxation? Do you just leave them at 10% or less or more than 12%? Very nice city design ,I wish I'm half as good as you on building a city.
I can't get it .. This seem so easy for you to making things. I'm alway struggling to start whatever i want. the design of the city is so clean, organic in a way. I'm doing either a square or something uggly. Like i can"t get the things. You're doing so well (.(
the park yoThe park you made in the college are outstanding, really beautiful. BTW, I`m father now, my baby girl born, your park reminds me her, because of her name: Luna.
Love the path networks, but I do hate how the highschool's parking lots don't connect to the road properly, the cars are going over grass and the sidewalk D:
You mean the high school and college? Because the number of eligible students is very low and there's no need for it yet. My elementary schools are fully upgraded already.
Ah ok, sorry missed that. AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT seems to run well with the game. I have Nvidia 4080 and it doesn't run well with the game, have lots of problems with it.@@T4rgetGaming
4080 is more recent right? It should run the game decently... Not sure if there's any setting you're missing or something. My graphics are at high quality, but I turn off certain toggles like v-sync and dynamic resolution.

His cities are just so good

Yes, perhaps I can make something special like that for the power plant!
Wow that college landscaping looks so good! Love the pathing design, you have amazing design to your city

When you finally manage to fill the whole downtown complex, it will look awesome. Evidence: last tracking shit of the downtown parcel.
love everything you build. very pleasing to my ocd lol
You’re a master at this, man. Love your vids!

Check out the line tool mod for planting trees and bushes, should help you save some time !
Every time I see the perfection in his videos, I wish he could build a real city for me where I can live. 😂

@@T4rgetGaming I understand. But you've chosen a rather masochistic path, I might add 😁
I chose the therapeutic path 🧘♂️
Howdie T4get, from my home away from home here in Port Riche, Florida. I'm on vacation here.
Did CO un-texture the hedges? Why do they look SO BAD

I just leave taxes at default and might lower certain zoning taxes if I want more of that in my city.
tysm from France do more video like that please ! I love your content
Your detailing is amazing! Perhaps you could save time by using the line mod
Dude!! What a amazing job!!!
will you be able to show us the final result when this city is complete?

The cars are entering the 2 parking lots in front of the school by going over the grass?
Beautiful build ❤
satisfying
What are you made of? You put bushes in a straight line. That's practically a witchcraft.
Jajaja I loved the "sup bro"
Mais um vídeo excelente, parabéns!
the park yoThe park you made in the college are outstanding, really beautiful. BTW, I`m father now, my baby girl born, your park reminds me her, because of her name: Luna.
Hey congratulations!
That's a great name! Best wishes for your and your family
do you know u can do wonders with developers mode for example placing lines of bushes would be 500 times faster with mods and developer mode?
I'd rather not touch mods until the official modding solution is released by the devs
@@T4rgetGaming sure mate, i just know the struggle of placing bushes!
Amazing as always
beautiful bro

I'll just remove the grass next time I play.
Can you add parts in the titles so we can differ from the videos
Maybe you do now but suprised you don't mod would make your life so much easier
Maybe you've already answered this, but why don't you upgrade the schools to have more capacity?
You mean the high school and college? Because the number of eligible students is very low and there's no need for it yet.

@@T4rgetGaming Thanks for answering so quickly! Keep up the good work!
How do you manage with traffic ? :((
amazing
Is there a reason you built a community college instead of the university?
Need level 3 education. Level 4 will be later.
Why the video is so short. I can make you build this for 5 hours! Thanks for the great work
Because average view duration is garbage for my longer videos, and I feel like most people get bored and leave somewhere in the middle of the video :(
What kind of hardware do you have on your PC? You seem to be running the game with no problems even with graphics.

please no parking side on road in Downtown or everywhere
Man, we need to wait for 10 days! Be fast man! Be more fast
You can't do this when playing on console.
i don’t like it
