Love the sunken train station. I think the 2nd station is a good idea when the CPU is populated.
Yes, perhaps I can even have both stations serving different purposes and connecting to different locations.
Terrific idea! Hexagonal and octagonal “grids” are great as there’s fewer 4 way intersections, so less traffic conflicts.
One of the best C:S2 series so far.

Just got recommended this and so glad I did, I often lose track of where I want my city to go and how to plan into the future. I love the design of your entire city and it makes me want to try to build something similar. Definitely going to have to watch the rest of your videos to see how you set things out.

8:58 If that is a chain of mountains, that area could be a great place to do tobogganing and/or skiing and/or building the world's largest waterslide! Not only fun, but alongside it the rec area, could be dessert mountain - a little mountain 'village' of nothing but dessert shops and fast foods that are delicious but heart attack inducing. It's the perfect combination of health and fun!

I have a suggestion for a diagonal highway in the CPU district, especially at the highway entrance and exit at both ends of the district, maybe this is more of a trivial matter. Maybe it's better to arrange traffic on the exit and entry roads of the highway there so that vehicles leaving the highway cannot re-enter the highway (what I mean is creating a small T-junction) because it is feared that this will impact traffic jams because the exit and entry roads to the highway only have just one lane.

So, my question about artistic cities like this is: would one of us want to live here? I would love to see a little inspection of how the citizens use the space, to get an idea if it matches my aesthetics of living
how did u place that dual lane high way in one stroke at 4:43? is that a keybind or a default placement for highways? [ive never really gone that far into road unlocks lol]
It's an option in the road building tool, called Parallel Mode (3rd row in the road building toolbar)

I love how creative your city ideas are, they’re so unique. I do have a question though, will we see any more of the curved roads only city or has that been ended abruptly for CS2?
I plan to focus exclusively on CS2 from now on, so no, that series won't be resumed.
