Brad is the right cool-headed, focused, kinda guy for you to play breaking65 attempts with Garrett. He's a great addition to the gang all-round imho. :) p.s. Steve popping up on the last green mentioning he'd just posted a 93 was gold! LOL
@@sfodge7 o_O You read comments before watching a vid?! I'm assuming you used to sneak looks at what your parents had bought you for Christmas, & then had to fake surprised delight on the day? LOL ;p
@@sfodge7 Ah.... fair enough then. I recommend doing whatever you have to in order to avoid seeing any comments before you watch anything on the Toob tho! ;)
Yeah it’s cool hearing how a plus handicap manages the course. He was pretty in depth on this vid about his thought process for his shots and how he planned/played for misses.
In the last year, picking a target and committing to the shot has been the biggest improvement to my game. I still make some mistakes but overall it's taken my mind off of swing thoughts.
Garrett, love the content you’ve been putting out recently. Always a pleasure getting to watch you smack the ball around the course. Also, all the guests you’ve had on have made the series so much more enjoyable. Keep it up G!
Love the way you guys knock yourselves I wonder if you truly realise how good you are, and probably 95% of your viewers would love to be even half as good as you.
Could be dunning-Kruger effect talking, because they are very good they know how much better they can get. Resulting in them talking down on themselves.
Good call on nocebo, heard that word when I was a kid (I'm pushing 60). Bad call on ice cube for poison ivy. It's an oil. Soap and water is best, but it has to be quick before the oil soaks in. For golf course, maybe some wet wipe packets in the golf bag?? If they clean up grease from fried chicken, maybe they would clean this oil. I would clean the ball too when you pick it up.
Edits that make Garrett seem like a rambling goof make my day lol he'll be in the middle of a thought and trip over half his words and it just cuts to the next shot hahaha so good
I think it’s good to get frustrated with things sometimes, and also good to control it well. I’d say you did a great job handling it. You’ll get em next time.
Super video Garrett. I know that everything is relative and perspectives are different for all of us but it is hard to feel sorry for a guy who is not a tour player and is feeling down over shooting par golf. 99+% of us out here in ViewerLand would give anything to play just one round at or near par. Most would give anything to hit any round that began with a 7 and many will never ever see a round beginning with an 8. So be proud of being a spectacular golfer and remember that every swing on the golf course is like breathing in a little piece of heaven.
Awesome golf today. And you had lots of opportunities on the table G. Brad with the same score I shot with ya like 7 years ago. You bring the best out of others Garrett 🔥
I would love to see a little series with Garrett playing sunflower maybe 5 or so times in a row trying to get a tie with or breaking the course record. He could have it with a different GG athlete playing with him every video. It would be so cool for him to have the record at this course.
Per Wikipedia: nocebo effect is said to occur when negative expectations of the patient regarding a treatment cause the treatment to have a more negative effect than it otherwise would have.
Seems like he just wants to play as much as possible and keep improving. Playing and recording with this slightly lighter style and more straight forward edits allows content to drop more often. Do it on his channel and keep the focus on 18 hole stroke play as much as possible. The more time Grant is on a course with a camera is always a win for Good Good. Having said that I really enjoy the editing on this channel. The guys verbally increase the info they are providing and less needs to be added in edit. The whole thing just feels nice, like you are right there with the guys enjoying a round.
You should not only make this your series of break 65 but also bringing people on to break 65 almost like a challenge. Ie pro golfers or anyone from good good but tally up scores and have a leaderboard. ( I get that people have been on the break 65 videos trying to break 65 but not really presented or done up like a challenge to them )
GRANT !! i have a request for you to play a course star ranch or forest creek grant you will love this course so much i go to the range every day there please come play and have a good time break there record too !!
never head of the nocebo thing but it sounds real, also, take it from someone who is highly allergic to poison ivy/oak/sumac, you dont feel it immediately. It takes a bit. Now I'm having war flashbacks of my run ins with that stuff growing up lol. had it so bad one time i had to go to the hospital and get a prescription for steroids to get rid of it. still took a couple weeks
Man gotta love bRAD, so calm on the course as well, gotta learn from him Garrett. Don't let your alter ego Gary out on the course, he will throw clubs around and hit chunky for days
Well done on the Nocebo effect! I was about to say that your Nocebo comment just proves your relation to Micah ( he's kind-of an idiot), but you were right.
nocebo effect is said to occur when negative expectations of the patient regarding a treatment cause the treatment to have a more negative effect than it otherwise would have.
Garrett, live in the moment. Let someone else keep your score. Leave the numbers out of your head and focus on the task at hand. Don’t try to get cute with it, stick to a shot shape, and go out there and execute. You’ll get it brotha.
I absolutely love the content man have been watching for a while! You inspired my friend and I to make a YT channel. Do you have an advice on how to gain subscribers?

I was ready for the "nocebo" thing to be fake, but I looked it up and its sure real. Garrett too smart for us.
Always trust a guy who also uses the phrase “nippy McGizzer”

just the opposite of placebo
The important thing is, "was he stung by the nettles?" Or did he just imagine it?
... 5 years at the U of A, Physiology/Biochem Major ... never heard that word before.
Brad is such a G, the content with him and Kwon brings out the best in GM, killing it!
Really enjoy listening to how Brad talks through his shots, especially aiming points.

Garrett nailed it with the whole Nocebo Vs Placebo. Nocebo was the correct use in regard to a possible negative outcome😂
It's nice to see sunflower hills again. It gave some nostalgia from 2018-2019 with Matt and Steve. Keep up the great content!
I recently had surgery on my meniscus and acl. I really appreciate you pumping out videos, it’s keeping me busy sense I can’t play golf. ❤
Best round I’ve seen by Brad, what a beast. Looking forward to more of it!
Love the little Steve cameo at the end there!

Brads swing just looks so powerful.
My swing is more powerfuler
Extremely
Well played gents. I was surprised to see the Steve cameo at the end. I didn't even realize he was playing with you guys. lol
Brad is an awesome addition. Hope he stays consistent in the content going forward!
Brads driving in this video was elite change my mind
I love these break 65 vids they are actually so entertaining

Garrett has that slow motion walk-up to the holed putts. Like, 'ahh, I made it' Good Good on you and amazing golf with a 6 under round! beast
Keep up the great work G
Anytime there’s a Garrett camera tap, you know you’re in for a treat
69 yards from Brad's ball in the fairway. The man out does himself. Legend.
58 at Belmar is crazy! That’s my home course. Not super long but gotta be crazy accurate. Good stuff Brad

Dude is planning his birdies while I'm planning on whose ball to steal on the next hole as I've lost all mine.

Love Sunflower Hills. Couple other good courses nearby. Falcon Lakes and Dubs Dread are just a few miles away. Great content!
Just really really enjoyable content. Keep it up!

Great round, Brad! 👏🏼
Learning new things from Grant. 👊🏼
Great golf lads ⛳️
Love these videos. And love the addition of Brad to the squad. That said, my god- the traffic on this course is insane. Is it right off the freeway?
Yeah, it's built right up against I-70
I’m sorry but Garret not being able to finish his sentence at 7:40 and the clip just cutting was so hilarious 😂
I just got my wisdom teeth out and I’vbeen watching you guys all day. I love the content!

WyCo represent. Always had a hard time at Sunflower with the wind. Like Dub's layout more. Would love to see you check Painted Hills out sometime.
nice work brad
Continually dropping the club is a bad look Garrett! You are better than that!
Brad is likeable
It’s crazy how you can go the whole video and not even realize Stephen is playing with them.
Crazy how Garrett is saying he’s having an off day when he’s -1 😂😂
You and the boys should come play some courses in Canada there’s lots of beautiful courses

All the boys need to play a VR tournament! This was gold!

No shot Nocebo is a thing. Garrett I was dying laughing at you for thinking that was a thing. I guess it is learn something new every day……
Is it me , or Brad looks like a mini version of Desormeaux with the driver in hand .... your the man G
Man! The old course. Makes me think of the frying pan and Goodwill days. Steve’s course: what happened to that??
Steve at the end was so Random haha
like Garret said, whenever I start with a bogey I … get more and more bogeys and double bogeys
G ratt looks so stressed out by the end of the round lol.. I feel that pain too often
Steve is too relatable
Come back to Branson!! I’m tryna play buffalo ridge or Payne’s valley with y’all!
Garrett, do you notice the difference between playing this course now that you hit the gym as opposed to the olden days.
anyone else staring at how dirty the good good hat is?
You should come out to Olympic club to play the new renovated lake course
Let's freaking go boys

Sunflower Hills looking pure!
“Thought that was going to dunk it for a second. Now I have 20 feet so sick….”
Yo G Rat one if these videos can you do you and a camera member vs Brad and a camera member!? (Thanks good vids)
garrett was correct about placebo and nocebo. both are latin, placebo means roughly "i will please" and nocebo means "i will hurt"
was steve playing with them the whole time? hahaha I didn't notice him until the last green

I feel like there’s no way G is still technically a scratch. He’s gotta be at least a +.1😂
gotta pad the numbers for those good good majors!

K-state colors for the tracer?!? I need KU next 😂
I have never heard of a nocebo but I looked it up and it’s a thing.
Nocebo is indeed a thing … well done padewan Garrett.
"Afterjizz" is crazy💀
I challenge you too make your own course and use plastic golf clubs on it. By the way your my favorite RUclipsrs.
Great to see g-rat back where it all started
Brad is really freaking good
Good video
Navy joggers when, G?
A few months ago you said you were gonna start playing in mini tour golf events like Micah and Grant. When is that gonna start?
Garret do you pay for the buggy each time you play or is it included in the green fee?
Missed the tap in birdie. Could never be me
