What a fun video. When Rick and the GG Boyz hit the course you know there will be some great golf and plenty of laughs. The GG guys make everything fun and seem to be genuine fine young men. Each has his own very different personality but blend together into a cohesive blend of talent, humility and kindness and when you throw Rick into it he becomes the icing on the cake. Fun fact for all us amateurs to remember. The average PGA tour distance left to the flag after a 150-100 yard shot, is 12ft. If the pros average is 12ft then we can be happy with at least double that!
I learned a lot from reading "Every Shot Counts" by Mark Broadie. I now enjoy golf a lot more since my expectations are now way more in line with what is realistic with my skill level.
What you have to remember is that is on a pga course with greens that have been ramped up to a 12. A pga pro from 150 on a normal course in normal conditions will be 10’ average
Love the cross over content, this is exactly what the golf RUclips space needs. Good Good guys are great and Rick is brilliant could watch this kind of content all the time 👍🏻
I love how Bubbie set the tone , when Steven came around and said All right we'll chip in for birdie I surely thought a birdie was on the board next not knowing that Rick was going to nail that eagle chip in, and then to see the way him and Garrett played on the final hole and brought the boys back that was just truly amazing. I don't know what it is about these rick shield videos but I can't get enough of them

Only just finished the Bubbie section of the video but he is fast becoming one of my favourite RUclips golfers. His golf game (along with Steve and Matt’s) resonates with the average golfer but his personality is infectious, comes across as such a genuinely nice guy who is so grateful of the opportunities that are coming their way.

That's a wrong stat. From 100-125 yards this season tour average is 20'4". The average between 125-150 yards is 23'9".
