I loved this and it rang true for me so many times back when I was younger. Sometimes it is nice when two people find each other, but this is the reality for many of us who are too afraid, too shy, and full of self doubt.
everyone dreams of meeting the right one, rather it's on a park bench or elsewhere. but the dream can't happen unless you ask, you can always be told no but at least you ask. good message.
I love how they make it so realistic and relatable. I am quite shy at times and this was a brilliant work
I was so happy for him for a minute! I relate to this guy so much. How many times I've been too shy. Probably missed out on "the One."
No one deserves to feel lonely in a world that doesn't know their kind of harmless love exists.

This is an excellent video about missed opportunities. You can view it as gay themed or just simply about attraction and love and what could have been. I see it as love and attraction and being human. ANYONE can relate to this whether you are straight or LGBT. It's a bittersweet part of being human and daydreaming instead of taking action. :)
I am straight but I have been approached by gay men who offer me compliments. Although I may not feel the same back, I still see it as a great compliment and like to hear positive things from anybody. So if you find yourself in this situation then say something!! Some guys will be upset or offended but most will say thank you. I have the wife of my dreams and got her by approaching her out of the blue. You never know. life is too short for fear

Alternate ending: The next day the same thing happened and he actually asked him out; he said "yes" and they lived happily ever after with lots of good kinky sex. The End.
Very nice film. Perfectly captures the struggle between wanting to communicate and being too afraid to take a chance. I hope when young people see this they realize how much better it is to take the risk (especially when it comes to love) than to let the opportunity go by.
This is such a heartwarming story! It is so hard to express your feelings sometimes mainly for fear of scaring the other one away and end up alone. Thanks for uploading.

this is just so cute, I like this short film. When you are shy, d I know what I'm talking about, it's very difficult to talk to people. And I can imagine what he felt when he saw this beautiful guy leaving.

Your story is sad and moving, I truly appreciate your sharing it. I did not accept myself until I was 29 just as I was about to give up hope and life. I finally moved to a large city and in the first month I found my first love and only then did I begin to live. Over time we became more like brothers as we are to this day and I later met and committed my life to a wonderful man, still together 12 years later.. Some things you never forget and your story is one of them.

Tell it like it is, brother. It's nice to know that there are still couples around from our generation because all of my friends from the 1980's are dead with the exception of about two.
I met my partner of 10yrs by sitting next to him on a bus. He said hello! We've been together ever since !

I have a friend who did exactly that, passed a note and it wasn't in a dream scene. It didn't end well. Such is life I guess.
this is so cute as a whole clip. someone should write a whole story for this and make it into a full film...am sure there the 208 + viewers can contribute at kickstarted or the now upcoming youtube movie thingee...thumbs up. love the soundtrack as well...
I will tell you! In 1978 I had a crush on this guy when we were in college. The feeling was not mutual, he was straight. But he introduced me to the man who has been my partner for nearly 35 years. We were married on June 1 of this year in front of family and friends.
It is terrible about your first love, but I am glad you were able to heal and find love again.

he took the note in the young mans dream of how he wanted the situation to play out. In reality he didn't even speak let alone write the note!!
Boo!... No , I really liked it :) Just sad ending. I like watching all these gay shorts, but only 1 or 2 that I've seen actually end on a happy note. I want my "gay" Disney ending damn it!! LOL
RIGHT!?!! Like. At the very end he opens his book••• And there! The note asking, "dinner?" , with a "Yes!" scrawled beneath. ~magically~💫🌠✨🌟

Very interesting video. You seldom see both sides of a story. One that has no regrets, and the other where he'll never know what could have been. It was a sad , yet happy ending.

This was too adorable for words. P.S. we had to do something like this for my psyche class where we mimicked the actions of strangers without speaking to them, it freaks most people the fuck out.

One of the best short film I've seen
Nice, attractive, clean-cut guy takes an interest in you and is brave enough to make a move; you brush him off! Backpack guy doesn't know what he's missed. This could have been the start of a great friendship.
He didn't brush him off. It was a fantasy in the guys mind of what he was hoping could happen. It never happened.

The problem with that is it should have been more a bus stop. The last thing thats going to happen between two guys in a park is they arent going to sit on the same bench to do the same thing. There has to be more then one bench firstly and I wasnt sure whether the guy giving the note was visualizing or dreaming or did in fact give the note-regardless its far from real-
