Hey, Mike! I'm way late to this video. I wanted to view it when you posted it, but life got in the way, lol. Anyway, the first thing I wanna say- aside from this being another great THC video- is that at 6:20 of this video, the guy in the upper left hand corner of the left page looks like Robert Mitchum, lol. I don't know, maybe it's just me; but there's a strong resemblance, in my humble opinion. I just though that was cool, lol. But yeah, this omnibus is probably going to fly off the shelves. If I didn't already have a huge backlog of titles that I'm wanting to purchase &/or pre-order, then this would probably be near the front of the line. If it's still around after I get my books I've already planned on purchasing... I will likely snatch this one up at that point! The Darwyn Cooke artwork, alone, makes it worth it. I don't have nearly enough Darwyn Cooke comics as I'd like. And I, too, am a fan of Paul Gulacy. I have some of his work.(he does a great Jonah Hex story from the amazing pre-New 52 era Gray/Palmiotti "Jonah Hex" series!) I've also read some Batman stuff & a few other things w/his art in it, & enjoyed it, for sure! I haven't read it, but I've heard "Catwoman: When in Rome" by Jeph Loeb & the late great Tim Sale(who we literally- and sadly- just lost this month) is another fantastic, classic take on the character, which I believe is tied to or is a sequel to "The Long Halloween" & "Dark Victory"(I could be wrong). Both Cooke & Sale had tremendous styles of art that were like no one else's. They will both be missed. Thanx for the video! I enjoyed it(as always)! And, as always, I hope you guys & your families are healthy & feeling good, mon frère!😊👍🏻👍🏻❤
I got mine day 1. I will say that I’m not a fan of the dust jacket. It’s a little loose. I’m afraid the books going to slide out when I grab it off the shelf. That being said it’s a great deal for $100
I’m guessing there will be more copies popping up, at least I really hope so! It would be kinda crazy if DC to limit the print on a Brubaker omnibus, but they’ve done stranger things i guess
@@jaksilb i'm so lucky BD didn't cancel my pre-order maybe because I did pre-order it three Months before release because they always postponed the dates of release.
Unlike Marvel, DC is doing a great editorial job with the Omnis. Marvel omnis are a waste of time due to the poor quality of the material. I just think there could be more extra material in the DC omnis.
Were you lucky enough to pick up a copy?
I got mine first day but the next morning was all sold out from IST just like the jason Aaron Thor omnibus
I just ordered mine last night. Got lucky as it's not available most places now
Mine is arriving today! I’m reading Gotham Central right now, so I can’t wait to continue on with the Brubaker DC stories.
Picked this up recently and am SUPER stoked to dig in. Brubaker+Cooke=Comics Greatness
Didn’t realize this was a hard book to find, got lucky and bought this @ my LCS can’t wait to read it brubaker is the shit! Thanks for the review!!!
I'm glad I pre-ordered this omnibus so that I finally have the whole run after just having the vol 1 in tpb...the art and story are fantastic
Got my copy on Monday this week, along with ABSOLUTE DC New Frontier 15th anniversary
Nice, I want to get that one too, before it goes OOP as well!
Absolute new frontier is $52 on Amazon right now.

@@mannyc19 I'm glad your books arrived undamaged because Amazon shipping is rough. But I agree the shipping from the US to CA can be steep.

Haven't read it yet, but I did buy it. My only gripe is that the artist changed. I would have loved to have one artist the entire run.

I’m having a hard time deciding between this and the question Omni as my next purchase which would you choose?
This book is sold out everywhere so your best bet is question omni lol
If you can find this Catwoman omni, then I’d say go with that, but you can’t go wrong with The Question omni if this Catwoman omni stays OOP
Can I get a video on your graphic novel and non Marvel/ DC comics collection please?
Bought this recently for £45 new.
Absolute bargain!
Can I read this as a standalone story ?
3:56 this is why I no longer buy DC products
How's the spine? All good??
It looks really solid to me! Not very flexible, but seems sturdy
The spine on mine is good & it has a nice eye.
I decided to grab the Boys hardcover over this one. I was so disappointed with some DC books lately, that I decided to go a different route.
Cannot blame you for that, The Boys is amazing and those omnibus books look amazing!
@@TheHardcoverComic right, and it isn't like DC isn't going to keep reprinting Catwoman. DC and Marvel reprint nonstop.
Dynamite did say that if The Boys hardcover omnibus go oop they will be reprinting more so don’t panic if you miss out this time around.
@@anthonyufert8477 I did hear that. I would still get these over anything Marvel and DC at this point. Their stuff is pretty disappointing.
Why is the book sold out everywhere?
Indeed! Book Depository cancelled my preorder two days ago with no explanation. Rum deal, I say!

How do u read comics digital? On your phone? Or on Tablet?
Tablet for sure! I personally have a Samsung 14” tablet and it’s fantastic for comics!
