The woman who says “I love you but I’m going to kill you!” Is very relatable. When I started to work from home my cat (Wyatt) wanted to be in front of my monitors all the time. Barely does it anymore after 3 years.
She could've put Finney into another room until she was done with her books.
Your kitty just wanted some attention, pet them while you work or look at them and talk t o them in a high pitched tone to make them feel appreciated and acknowledged! works almost every time
I love how everyone is so serious and focused with discussing the relevant topics then as soon as the cats pop in the frame everyone turns into a pile of giggles and just melts.

Makes a lot of sense, if you refuse to acknowledge it, it will leave room to kids getting distracted without your input or ability to control it, and it eases the lack of impulse control from too much screen time and what’s naturally present in kids.
Being able to cuddle my cats while listening and taking notes on my lectures actually helped me retain them better.
We did this in my college classes. Everyone loved my orange cat's antics in my camera.

As a professor, as bad as covid was, getting to meet students' pets and for them getting to meet mine, meet zoom classes easier to do and more enjoyable.
My roommate did ballet classes, and the cat tried to join in. He needs to work on pointing his toes.
Our yoga instructor also has enjoyed the warmth of getting to see all the felines (and occasionally doggos) helping their hyoomuns with yoga. :3

On danish news, on DR, after the main events has been discussed and it's time for the weather forecast, they like to poke a little fun with puns and all, like about eachothers names and the current weather from time to time. So that really lightens up the mood and humanizes everyone involved

40 years of internet?! Wtf?! I am 44, and the first time I even HEARD of the internet was the early 90s. Most people didn’t even have internet until the mid 2000s. I did not have a PC until 2006, and prior to that, I only had access to the internet at the library or a friend’s home computer with dial up. The internet has not been around for over 40 years. Half of my life was spent without it.

The person who made this comment probably just googled when the internet was invented (which was, in fact, 40 years ago) but didn't know that it didn't become available to the public until ten years later. And even then, I don't think that cat videos were much of a thing until RUclips was invented over _another_ decade later.
As a Turk and an Istanbulite, cats are like an inseparable part of us. Their presence feels so normal. While watching the video, I ask myself the question, what is a video about a cat walking around in a TV interview. :)

Honestly the work environment would be 100 times better with some fluffy companions around to ensure stress levels and seriousness is kept at a stable level or low. This video is just proof of that. Everyone started off usually serious (as it is the news. serious topics) but was quickly lightened up thanks to the appearance of our fluffy friends here and even made most of us viewers watching this smile no doubt. Gotta love our animal friends!
