I remember when I was in a teenage rock band. One of our guitar instructors tried to turn us on to Steely Dan. We were stuck on Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent. Oh you can say we missed the boat on that one.
Alice Cooper was my first concert and Uncle Ted was either my third or fourth. Chicago Transit Authority was second for sure and Nugent was just after that, then came The Allman Brothers, The Eagles with either YES or ELP. Saw both of them 3X, King Crimson, Traffic and so on...Finally saw The Dan live at Chastain Park, tableside, in the 2000s with my wife, son and one of his hip friends.
2 of the most musical geniuses of our time.
You definitely have that right my friend.
