    --------------------------
Hey Everybody! Today Paulo Runs Through "Rahdo's Goofs"
If you find Goofs I didn’t notice Please leave Timestamps :)
    Thank You
1:03 Richard reads Jane ability right here but he will play it wrong the whole video... he will mention several times that the 2 Deckhands have to be in the same room for Jane to kill both but that's not true... they just have to be in reach, so they can be in 2 different rooms, she takes 2 out.
Won't make a note about this goof again
11:03 Forgot to take 1 more Fatigue because he moved from a Room with a level 1 fire to a room with a level 2 Fire
17:47 Using Items with the action icon (like the one on the top left) costs one action . So, Using the bucket costs one action.
This goof will be repeated during the whole video, no more notes will be done about this.
20:35 This is not how it works... you have to spend 1 action to pick up objects!
21:29 And she would have to gain 1 Fatigue because the room temperature is higher than it was
22:46 They don't have to be in the same room... with one action Jade can just get rid of 2 Deckhands that she could legally target!

Tile laying? Cool co-op? Fire and pirates? Incredible art work? It's going to be hard to resist buying this game.

I don't think I could resist doing a 'Bane voice' in this game. The fire rises brother!

Looks like an interesting game. It could become one of my favorite co-ops. I just want to get my hands on a copy here in Britland!

Watched Zee's review yesterday of this game and found it really intriguing but still couldn't decide if it needed to go on my wishlist. This Runthrough put it over the top for me though and it definitely is on the list now! Thanks for yet another fantastic vid Rahdo! You're an inspiration to us all :-D

17:58 Using Items with the action icon costs one action. Using the bucket costs one action.
22:18 Dech hands expand thru doorways into rooms with less deck hands. There is no door going south.

BoardGameAddict Note made for the first goof...
the second one I'm not so sure... I asked the question on BGG to get clarification but I think the intent of the rule is only to say that the rooms have to be connected meaning that the deckahand wouldn't spread out to another room through a wall...
But why wouldn't they spread out to another room that has nothing blocking their movement? that makes no sense to me, I might be wrong, but it makes no sense that it would block movement because it doesn't have a door... the only way to me that would happen was saying that those 2 rooms were the same room because no walls and no doors were separating them, but in that case no action would have to be spent moving from one place to the other neither there would be 2 different fires in the same room

Paulo Renato That makes more sense to me also. My group decided to take it literally because we can't beat it. I would love to hear what the designers say.

BoardGameAddict me too, because the first reply for my question on BGG said it was obvious I was wrong :p
So, who knows... I think my way makes sense...

I know this is a long time after the review now but I have just bought this game and it looks like the explosion cards have been changed now. They no longer have question marks on them. So now the rules state that you count how many explosion cards (i.e. cards with 5 on them) that you turn up and the deck is reshuffled when you have 3 of these. Just thought I'd let you know ;)

I am glad that you did the review in such detail. I was looking for more information on this game and here it is.
    Only one suggestion for improvement:
it was quite confusing to watch the video when you continuously went back and forth about what you were going to do in your move and while you were still executing your move, you immediately took it back. It would help me get a grip of games quicker if these scenes had been edited out.

+beemex01 sorry, i don't do editing of the videos, because it takes too much time and robs all the fun of making them for me :)

I don't mind the second guessing whilst considering what he wants to do, I find it helps to understand the game a little better by listening to the thought process.

At 5:25, you say you can't put the tile like that, because it'll block one door. However, if I understood it right, you CAN do it, but you will just block a doorway you might need, right?

Is there any way to deal with the probably unlikely but extremely unlucky scenario of drawing all dead ends right off the bat? That's kind of a bum way to lose.

I'm really tempted to buy this because the quality is so high and I love the theme, but I'm worried I might not like it; games like Forbidden Island make me too anxious because the island is constantly in danger of being destroyed...
I guess I just don't like co-op games. They all make me anxious.

I know I'm beeing a bit anoying but when you gave examples to where to put the tiles you gave one that's not in the rules, tile doors cant go past the ships entry(?) line, also you at 10:56 you didn't raise your fatigue by one.
Yeah, I'm correcting a dude in a boardgame he played 4 years ago, I have nothing else to do

    • @EduardoKerrGames

nvm you remembered the fatigue thing, lol

nmv again, you used the bucket for free, some of the itens have the coin icon, meaning you do spend an action to use it, omg, why am I like this

    • @EduardoKerrGames
      @EduardoKerrGames 4 года назад

I think you do need to spend actions to pick itens from the ground, but I might be wrong on that one (20:25)

Hi Edd... thanks for the goofs reports... but they were all already noted in the Klingon subtitles :) When watching a video from Rahdo (and some other boardgame reviewers) turn ON the Klingon subtitles to see when they make errors

I’ll pass for now. Too much going on. I like the theme but for something similar but still different, and no tile-placement on top of cards and dice, check out Fantastic Beasts. Lighter, easier to learn, but very different theme. I’ll keep this one on my radar but for now, too much going on for me

This isn't a complicated game to understand. I'm not following the too much going on thing.
