So much fun watching this playthrough. I love this game + expansion. @24:00 You cannot attack the Kraken twice in your turn. Also, after you successfully attack it you have to draw a Kraken card, so it either moves away or attacks you back.
Good to see a play through of this game, I think it’s an underrated co-op/solo game. The Kraken expansion makes it even better. Now I’m going to have to get this to the table again tonight.
Yes the Kraken takes the game to the next level but it does also make it less of an intro co-op. I tried playing with new players and it was a bit overwhelming! :)
4:15 can we eliminate deck hands from adjacent rooms? I had totally skipped over that part of the rules 7:49 Are you not allowed to strt on any of the 3 tiles that were connected to the starting exit? That would save you one action. ;) 9:10 Is the pirate not supposed to have to spend his battle track before the roll?
Hey Yan! YES you can eliminate deckhands in adjacent rooms, otherwise they would totally block a room once there were 3 of them in it! The only tile that is connected outside is the middle beginning tile You can use your battle track AFTER dice rolling, but you have to use the entire thing!

@10:20 With fatigue 5 she can still go into a room with 5 fire (shown by the „5“ die icon on the fatigue track)
