Very solid game for me don't take many games to get into it. Pace of the game can sometimes be slow due to the additional actions of the game so it can be frustrating waiting for your turn sometimes but I wouldn't let that discourage you from buying
One more game you're gonna make me buy! Nice video! Just one question: shouldn't you score 2 points after "delivering" the green visitor to a room since you have the bonus to that?
I'm in doubt about the customer whose bonus is to prepare ONE room (16:06). you say in the description that is "following normal room preparation rules". so, you mean that the next turn that the player chooses to prepare a room, it is for free (if it's in the first two floors)
The bonus for serving that guest is that in the moment you send him to a room you get to Prepare 1 room for free in the first 2 floors of the hotel, so you can prepare a room in the ground floor or in the 1st floor and you don't have to pay but you still have to follow the normal restrictions of Preparing a room, meaning it has to be orthogonaly adjacent to another room)
On your last turn you put two guests in room after you "fed" them, doesn't the additional actions on your turn explicitly state only 1 guest may be placed in a room per turn?
+Joel Dalangin no... you can only get 1 guest from the display to your café per turn... but any number of guest in your café can be moved to the rooms when they have been served
I want to like dice drafting here, but not that impressed. They also need to make the dice cooler when they are a focus. Otherwise the guest cards and ability cards leave me flat. The emperor track and room grouping bonuses feel like euroy rehashes as well. Other title could be Fiddly Austrian Cafe
2 years later still a masterpiece. I just played it twice this weekend and never a dull moment.
This game is rock solid. So far, favorite of this year for me.
I love how there's a mirror for the 6-pip die section. Because it "mirrors" any of the other 5 actions. Cleverly thematic!
+Willie Hung clever, i didn't even notice that! :)
The sound is fine/adequate, unless Richard starts singing😉Great Playthrough, this has moved up my buy list

As I said in the Final Thoughts video the colourblind issues are disappointing. I can't tell strudel from red wine at all. Good game though.
+Marcus Boyce ouch, good point about the color blindness! :(
+rahdo I had to get my wife to mark the brown strudel cards and cubes with a dot from a permanent marker. Now I can play!
Yeah, we had the same problem :(
A "Bildhauer" is actually a sculptor not an architect.
agreed about the sound, not usually like it is in this run through. Please address the sound issue, otherwise awesome job as usual +Rhado
This looks 👍
It's like $60 online, is it worth it?
+Faith Pate you'll have to decide that for yourself :) it's only $40 over here in europe :)
My local game store (in Australia) has it for $140 which is why I've held off on getting it. :( Games tend to be pretty expensive over here though.
I'm italian, thank's for all but if you sometime speek a little bit more slonley please is best for me ;)

I find this post hilarious, especially considering it has been edited. Delicious...
The sound quality is not good.
How about not buying extra strudel at first turn? It cost you, and is EXTRA

Anyone notice that the guy on the card looks like the dwarf from Caverna?
+endgame that's because he is the dwarf from caverna :)

Clumsy Dad It's one of my favorite games. It's awesome. But not all games are for everyone I suppose.
Too bad about the sound :(
Your new wireless microphone seems to be saturating easily, this is very annoying when listening with a headset. I hope you can fix that somehow.
+Jérôme Vuarand me too! i'm looking into returning it actually, even with international shipping charges! :(
You need to stop redoing your turns..just move on
oh you are NOT going to be happy with the video i filmed today! :)
