Looks pretty great. I love that the competition in this space is heating up.
I have many Packout boxes, but I really love that Flex and even Klein have accessories to go along with them and not 3d printed third party ones.
Flex basically took all the best Etsy mods for packout and integrated them into their own system.
No need to brainstorm or experiment with crazy tool storage ideas, the customer has done all the research and development for them. Absolutely genius play.

That's why the previous T-Mobile CEO took the company incredibly far in a short time, same philosophy. He basically said to shut up and listen to the worker and customer, they'll give you all the answers. It's unfortunate many companies don't have the same philosophy. In any case, I've spent over 1k, happily, on my Flex tools. They have every feature and design I could ask for. The lifetime warranty really sold me though!
Curious… how exactly would you replace the wood top if it gets damaged…. It doesn’t seem to be exactly square?
Do you know of a video “how-to” on completing that?

Just trace it and cut a new one with a jigsaw, sand it and finish it how you see fit

I have 3 stack pack systems. All 3 purchased within the last month and a half.
#1, The handle is not strong and sturdy enough to support the weight in three boxes, the handle broke first day on jobsite.
#2, lable Compartment leaks. Definitely no good. What point is having that label marked if it can get wet.
There is a #3 however I forgot at the moment.

Definitely some cool stuff i like it. Still 1 problem. WHY IS THE ROLLING BOX NOT A CABINET OR DRAWER OR DRAWERS! I think cabinet makes most sense. Why wont any of these manufacturers listen to the main thing we want? Why did i have to modify my own rolling box to be a cabinet?
I was wondering if you could make the bottom piece, with the wheels, the 2 drawer box. I’m assuming you can’t after reading your comment. That would be the perfect setup.
@@nickboutin857 i could if i wanted to spend more money and time over jus cutting out the rolling box i already have and spending $3 for a couple hinges. Plus i said i would prefer a cabinet over a 2 drawer box on the bottom. I rather have bigger tools in the bottom box over hand tools. Mine is the perfect setup for me

My only complaint about the Stack Pack is that I can’t find them locally. I bought the OG 3 piece set at Lowe’s and haven’t seen them since. I’m stoked about the wave 2 stuff!

I like what they’re doing and don’t think they’re copying Packout like so many are mentioning but you calling it Packout at 0:02 is pretty funny.
Wow, I wanted to stick with my old Rigid, but thinking now, with those units that open from the front, you can get your tools while they are stacked in place !
That's a time saver and also back saver . You dont have to unstack them while on the job , an instant workstation 👍
PS, the accessories on the corner are too bulky , IMO.
Got the basic Lowes $300.00 Flex 3 box system and now I have what I call "THE TOWER"(3 more boxes!)
All the guys on the job have Stack out. I LOVE my Flex!!!
I have many of the FLEX pieces & love how very modular this system is... still want that wood worktop surface tho, looks really handy & I can't wait til it's readily available in stores... they've been really hard to find for months now.
It's definitely a Packout competitor and has some slightly different features. I like it a lot and will be interested to see how owners modify it to make their own creative improvements. I already have some Packout boxes and don't need most of them anymore. I am curious what the price differences would be though. Nice job presenting this setup. Definitely more serious and you seemed under pressure to get it done, but it was fine either way. I hope you're still enjoying what you are doing.

@@thebigswermdiggs3383 I got all my Packouts a few years ago. I'm not certain that Flex was even available then and I've had MW tools for 50 years, so I trust the brand. I must admit that going to plastic tools and boxes just didn't seem right to me. Since I want to start getting rid of most of my storage cases, it really doesn't matter anyway. Is the Flex water resistant to the IP65 standard? It didn't look like it.

I'm looking at my next tackle box and tool box stack. Add wide wheels for the beach and some rod holder attachments. I got somewhere for the beer, to cut and keep bait. My hooks my weights. Reall niiice like.

Been super impressed with Flex.
Honestly, I now buy these solely for overlanding. Better built than ROAM Adventure cases, OVS or even Pelican. Cheaper too and way more universal. I just wish they made the larger sizes - like for starters, the Milwaukeye-a rolling tool chest.
I know I am boring when I get excited about tool storage! Thanks for the light show on the versatility of the flex system. I am still making my decision between the flex and Milwaukee boxes.

I have the husky soft side rolling and non wheeled bags... I think the hard side units limit the storage space in vehicles and in shelves. I have a substantial investment in that stem with over 20 bags. investment, I just grab the bags for the job at hand no repacking ir trying to fit containers in the pickup bed with cover.

I’ve been looking for a couple weeks now between Packout and Flex and literally got Packout two days ago because it came down to more options and now this 🙄😂

Good stuff. Guess I’ve becoming used to the prices too. They seem reasonable.
The “cheaper” systems have all gotten more expensive to the point of few a little more you get packout or flex for not much more
So after watching this review, are you saying that the flex boxes officially are nicer than the Milwaukee pack out system? I've not actually gotten to see any flex in person, but from watching videos it seems to me like they're better quality and I'm starting to wish I would have had flex over Milwaukee.

i have so much money in packout but i still grabbed these and after using them for a couple weeks at work it makes me sick to say i think im slowly starting to switch over to the stack pack lol its so much easier to use and they have way better attachments i do like the packout locking mechanism slightly better but there is alot more things i like about the flex boxes
Now that the best and I got the M.W.A.pack out and flex got them beat ..go flex it your birthday !!

These, PackOut, Ryobi, Kobalt, Husky, DeWalt, Klein Tools, Craftsman.... all are pretty expensive though!

@@ToolReviewZone so glad I never became that sheep and got caught up with the red packout phenomenon. So glad I'm waiting for toughbuilt. Their releases for spring and summer is promising. Liking their drawers single, double, triple drawers and other add ons due to come out.
