- I am completely blown away with what I just seen on the new Toughbuilt #stacktech.
If you are a contractor and looking for a rolling tool storage unit, I think I may have found something you are going to love.

I absolutely don't need another one of these boxes but damned if I don't want them anyways despite the fact that I am using my ridgid for laundry and taking my action figures to the park for photography.
Who needs dressers or furniture when you've got stackable tool box systems am I right lol.
O nly thing I hate is the bottom biggest box.
Most time what I need is in that darn box.!!
Gotta take all them things off...
To get to it.😢
I completely blitzed the laundry thing.
Brilliant!
Now I can get more boxes.
I’m the same way. Don’t need it but gotta have it.👍💰🛠️
I know! My 4 year old uses my Milwaukee top off to charge her tablet…. She be running around like “ where’s MY battery daddy?!”
I’m a PackOut guy, but I will most likely switch once I get my hands on them and look at them. I love their clipTech pouches and belts. I have a bunch.
I bought the ToughBuilt yesterday. My first impression was it is very well built, solid like a tank. My second impression is it weighs as much as a tank. Even empty, these are a load to move around.
On the plus side, the rolling box is about an inch shorter than other rolling boxes and with the handle able to come off easy, this fits in my truck bed even with the tonneau cover (Honda Ridgeline -which is a bit shallower then a full size truck).
Finally a connecting mechanism to rival the ease of packout. Way better than the other competitors’ side latching designs
I love packout. But I have to admit, the sliding in and out to lock becomes a negative when you have a really heavy box or moving multiple at once (weight) as you really need to keep a good foot on the base holding point.
I like this box better but Klein does have a front latch and an it is very easy to use
Tho I looks pretty good
Ryobi's connection is has always been better than the pack out, but this tops it
They look amazing and truly nice new features only question I have how are they price wise, comparable to others ?
I wish you do a volumetric efficiency survey with these. i.e. external volume / internal volume = eff. Volume. Milwaukee packout are around 30% waste. They are awfull actualy.
Looks like a sweet setup. Id like to see the hooks you put on the metal rail tho
😂 nice review
Why don't these companies build this wheeled boxes tougher in the back. In my experience working in apartments with cement stairs and I have a cheaper hart box with aluminum tubes that the handle slides up and down inside are aluminum and dented. Then the handle doesn't wanna go up and down nice. They need a plate that protects the back of the box and that can "dolly" safely up and down the stairs
Well, they are going to release a literal hand truck for these as well. So you don't need to buy the Roller Boxes, just wait for the hand truck next year (I think it's planned for spring 2024).
Damn. Anybody want a truck load of Packouts? Lightly used and abused.
Gotta make room.
No thanks not as good as packout and you can get most packout stuff cheaper at the depot. Try open that second box when stacked. Pretty fun huh?
AK-SESS-OR-EE .
!!!!!! Ah Man you totally Left out the best feature of those vertical rails on the bins!!!!! They are 100% compatible and engineered to be with the Toughbuilt "Cliptech " bag/belt Accesory Line. Full-length side-rail attachments on those bins !!!! YOU HAVE TO DO A FOLLOW UP VIDEO and show us all How truly capable and "Nice-liiiike" this rolling tool box line has to offer!!! Love your vids
Biggest deal to me is the shape of the interior space. It's the squarest interior of any box that I've seen, which means making inserts is going to be easy. I hate Milwaukee and DeWalt for having the most absurd shapes I've ever seen with webbing in the worst places. It's more expensive than the Ridgid, but honestly I really like it and will probably switch over.
Unless you are already heavily invested in packout, this looks to be another great option. I think this will kill the new boxes that have recently entered the market like Flex and Klein.
I absolutely agree. I'm a electrician , thank GOD i saw this before i went with Klein.
Can't wait to see these in person, I might be swapping out my packout for these. I like how they're black and not steal me red.
Yeah, I'm kinds thinning I may switch from packout. Been wanting a cheaper option. I figure I could sell my packout, buy these and burger with the money. But, I got a few packout drawers, so need to wait for those.
The next wave they are release with the rolling drawer base will be epic!
That's the smartest thing they could've done fr!
They should have started with drawers. That “transporter” thing that rolls them up onto your truck real fast is the coolest thing to come out in a while. I might get that and just mod it for my ridgids and tstaks
Really excited to see this coming out. I'm a cable guy and we all toughbuilt stuff. The clip on tool pouches are perfect for what we do. Almost everything they make is awesome, really underrated company.
Ikr! Super underrated. They're awesome in every way. Affordable, great color scheme, awesome modern designs that don't look weird or tacky. I'm really curious how their power tools would look if they made them. Really loving their box cutter with the magazine.
Same! Low volt also, all I use is Toughbuilt pouches!
Just hit those stickers with a heat gun as you peel it off and the glue will stay with the sticker instead of on the box. Not too close or hot. Just wave the heat gun on one side until you get it to come free, then just keep waving the gun over the sticker as you peel it off. Quick and easy.
You can also use the peeled stickers to rip off remainder adhesive
Load it down with tools then see how it does
I have been on the fence about what company boxes I’m gunna go with. Now I know. Can’t wait for more to come out for it. I just hope that they are cheaper than the Milwaukee or flex. That’ll seal the deal for me.
I have a mix of 4 different brands of storage. My favorite is Milwaukee, with Dewalt being second, third Craftsman, and last is Bosch. I wish some these companies would have come to the game earlier with storage and all the new innovations happening now-earlier.
Ridgid Ron👊
I’ll stick with my milwauk-ia packout
Nah, You cant test that locking feature with the boxes empty. fill it with a few pounds of tools and fasteners etc and then see if it locks and unlocks so easy.
I have a large set from Milwaukee but these look real nice like.
I is be bought their bags in the past and still have every single one. They make amazing stuff and even though I cheated out and went with the rigid tool box system seeing this makes me wish I’d have seen this first. Good stuff buddy.
Great one TRZ! This is what I've been waiting for. As I'm watching im wondering about the price though. I've got Dewalt 1.0 and 2.0. I've also got the Craftsman tradestack. I've looked at all the boxes out there and these are the most exciting to me. If the price is right this might replace my Dewalt 2.0 boxes. The single lid latch is convenient and the way the rolling box handle detaches is a great design as there is nothing sticking up above the actual box height which is superior to other removable handles imo. I love that they have half boxes and totes already in the initial offering as well. And with the crate and 2 parts organizers there initial release is great. Drawers will be the next big plus if they offer them but for a basic system their initial offerings are super solid. I agree the latch system for attaching the boxes together seems to be a great design and very convenient. If the system is durable and reliable this could be the next best budget or mid level box system if it's budget is reasonable. It's gotta be less expensive then the premium boxes though. At least for a while to get people into it. Then maybe if it ends up being the cats meow, they can really expand the line and start price competing with the premium boxes. But for now working people need solid boxes with features like this ones got that woulnt break the bank. We all ain't got budgets like business owners and high paid Sparkies that can afford Milwaukee prices lol.
BRO - how could you not even do the 1 test EVERYONE wants to see.....I asked everyone and they agreed, they wanted to see it. You know what it is.....will the boxes open with the handle ON or do you have to do some monkyin' with the darned lower boxes to get them to open with the handle attached and extended. Yep there it is, the one test EVERYONE wanted to see cept you apparentleh. Das OK cuz we all likes your reviews n such but as they say on ESPN.....come on man.
How would I know that's what you wanted. Never seen you leave a comment before 🤣🤷

+Another video that's "kinda 'nass like!" :^D
I love my Toughbilt tool belt system. Multiple pouches clip and swap. Really excited about this storage system. Think my packout systems will be getting a roommate this year.
Dude, back in the day, I was going around telling all my friends that tool companies should make something like these systems. Too bad I didn’t patent the idea. lol.
It’s like, I don’t need it, but I want it 😅
@JoseM93' I'm in the same boat! I don't need any of these units, but this 'Toughbuilt' is making me crazy!
Your interaction with the Makita gnome just cracked me right up!!!
I like the way you always add humor to your content..... unlike that NAZI Vince.....
I see why Clint wore the Dewalt jacket. It's a suttle hint to them that, in the module storage world, everybody eatting their lunch! They better start dropping prices.
I’m shocked….that Clint is wearing sleeves😂
Tough Built has been making some great tools. I love my Tough Built folding work table.
That’s definitely real Nass like 👍 especially with them being a budget friendly tool company. Will help out the newbie’s or budget folks ✌️😎👍
Dan The Man
Best feature: not all red *cough*
Seriously, was about to go with pack out but an all red interior cargo van would be ridiculous. Only works if you have no company brand or it happens to be red.
I have a few of the Tough Built belt bags and tools. I have noticed that the quality is great. Frankly I’m a line surprised that that don’t get more attention…. But this? This will blow out everything else. The accessories that are coming are on off the chain! I have Ridgid Gen 2 totes but finding components send a daunting task with little to no results.
Everybody else better up there games because whole setup is a major game changer.
Love your channel dude. 👍🏻
Is this a lowes exclusive?
You’re one smart real deal dude. Great work. ❤
Thanks brother
Still a non starter, It dose not have drawers you have to remove every to get anything lower.
They are coming early next year this even includes a rolling drawer bottom box which no one else has.
Picked up a set today. By far the best locking system in the game. We'll see how well it locks after sawdust and drywall dust gets into the system
Obligatory grammar police comment: It's "you're" not "your".
I love this set though!
im a Flex fanboy and already have invested in stack pack, BUT this looks to be a game changer... the not thing that I do not like about Flex is that its not super easy to stack them, its takes a few seconds sometime and this looks to be instant.. but im sticking with Flex..
Ever since I bought their razor that makes me feel like a gun slinger, I was HOOKED on this brand!
From just looking the video locked boxes looking little bit wobbling too much. Second doubt about unlocking, looks nice when new, how it would last in construction environment for some time where you have dusts.. sometimes dirt and so on, will it be easy to slide that unlock switch??
Wait Zelda is a guy😮
I'm pretty sure keter came up with all of them. Milwaukee was the first to bite and bring to market in these newer styles, but you could throw it back to DeWalt and the t-stack, whoch I think was also Keter, or maybe even the systainers
Your things (example)
You're a contractor.
NOT "Your a contractor"
Ok?
Looks like a decent system but all the half size cases and boxes being top stack only seems like something that could have been engineered differently to compete with packout but I’m guessing most people won’t notice if they don’t currently use the packout system.
What city and state did you pick up these Tough Built Stacktech from? I've looked around and can't find them.
@toolreviewzone have you seen their belt clip system??? This ain't sh!t compared to what they did there literally changed my life
I think the system is unique.
1. The style of locking the boxes is not something others are doing.
2. The metal corners have real potential.
It appears to be built solid. Only time will tell.
3. If Touch Built follows through with the number of pieces they are saying they are going to offer, then they will be a real contender and there at the Lowe's.
4. Down side, there made in Chinn-er 😢. You know, the country that keeps swinging are government's credit card as we irresponsibly dig a deeper det hole for ourselves as a country. You now CHINA.
It would have been nice if it was made in a country that does not wish to see us crushes.
That said. I LIKE THE SYSTEM !!!!!
Good job, Clint !!! Love the video !!!!
Do you know where the Klein boxes are made?
@eb3005 Klein boxes are 100% Chinese .
I use Ridgid boxes. They are made in Israel.
This is by far the best implementation of this concept. I hope Milwaukee comes out with a second generation of Packout, still compatible with the original stuff, but with many of these same ingenuities.
Welp, I showed it to my friend. I have 1. He said, "How dare you!"
Thank you, thank you, for the review! I've been using their tool pouches for years. Toughbuilt is coming on strong with a lot of tools!
Hate to say it but ridgid and dewalt are gonnabe the best for the back of pick ups. They wont freeze together. But goddamn theres too many choices now.
“If you’re’ not ‘your’.
You’re means ‘you are’.
Your’ means ‘your truck. Your drill, etc.
If you’re a contractor…..
Happy Friday the 13th Clint
Hahaha, have to throw in the Michael Myers in this one brother. Should have used Jason though 🤣👊
One of these companies needs to make their rolling box drawers so they can stay at the bottom AND they need to have mounts at the bottom so I can quickly attach them to mounting plates
I agree Clint , Zelda was perfected on the 64 sooo life like , no way graphics could be better 👍🏻
As a ryobi link guy, this will be my next upgrade, better than flex and packout
This is a long-awaited release for the toughbuilt clip bracket for their modular couches I'm wondering if they could Implement those in those accessories as well
These look badass ...i have a few tuff built things...great quality 👍✌️👊
MAKITA gnome working in full throttle to bring us out tools nobody wants, they always know how to give the loyal customers everything they do t need or want.
@@ndascal talking about the more recent tools they come out with plus the Mac pal is a joke
Watch out for the Toughbuilt troll Clint
Thats pretty real nice like. Im interested in this set up but I heard there gonna do some updates
I want it 😊
This looks like a decent product. I'm an electrician so I can afford the Packout. Good video though, Clint. Real Nass like
Lol I just made a comment saying that this system needs to be more afforable then Packout for it to catch on as not all of us, actually most of us out their in the trades don't have the budgets of business owners or high paid Sparkies.
Then you have to ask yourself why not. @@duncdunc76
with these its all about the price you can only do so much with this formfactor and millwaukee has done about all of it these have to be as good but cheaper other wise not interested
The fun part?
Hearing you say
“Here”
= heyyear
Or heyaear
Are you from?
Pittsburgh?
That’s real nice like! I’m going to sell all my Packout stuff!!!
Getting this out before Black Friday is super smart... looks great.
No comments about how he absolutely butchered the Zelda ref....😂 said N64 but showed NES/SNES graphics. Whatever I still love the stuff you're putting out!
I wish I could buy it in NZ. Don't you want to sponsor it to an electrician haha.
Good review. But god the way you say "here" and "there" got old real quick
Too bad they didn’t release the drawers for the launch bc I would’ve been on it.
These are a game changer. I only have their tool bags and I know they're great quality
Nice review. Btw are you trying to invent a new language? 😂😂 me-tal 😂😂
Could have been good video if not him trying to be quirky / funny / faggy
Im still waiting for their new tool bags from 2 years ago to come into lowes canada😅
I have this set up after agonizing over which system to go with for a month. I couldn’t be happier. Even the small inconveniences they have are overlooked for good reason. Wayyyy better than ridgid, dewalt, flex, and just as good if not better than Milwaukee. And they’ve been dropping new products in the line since I bought them in January and it just keeps getting better 🥰
What do you like about this system over Rigid?
Thanks for providing the dimensions. Been looking for that
Hey!!! I have like fifteen of the little Makita boxes. It’s great… as long as you don’t throw your boxes around. They get so much hate…
So you are the one who bought it 🤣 Just kidding...as long as you like it, that's all that matters Sweet 👊
If they had drawers I would pick them up.
Im sold. Never liked packout. Maybe its because i hate the color red. Will be upgrading from my 2014 ridgid tool box which served me well all these years. Already on the toughbuilt clip tech tool pouch system. Looking forward to the drawers to be released by toughbuilt.
Let me know how you like them brother
I feel the same about the red boxes. Messed up part is there is packout cases that are black w\ a lil red trim, but sold over the pond in UK, & Australia but not here. They look so much better! I am really liking these Toughbuilt cases tho too! 👍👌💪🛠️🗜️🔧📐📏✏️🔩⛓️🔨🚧⚠️😄
the more the better, thnak you brother! Keep them coming.
How expensive are these boxes
"If you're" NOT, if your. Better yet "if you are".
“100% grade a prime real nice like” 😂😂😂😂 hilarious
Good video, but I had to rage quit your channel because you intentionally misgendered Zelda.
By
You spelled you’re wrong in the title.
i found this brand 10yrs ago and cant wait
Toughbuilt has me wowed too.
Have you seem klein tools packout
That would be nice. I bought into a little in the Ridgid 2.0 so i can stop lugging around multiple toolbags with shoulder straps to install residential condensers. I would definitely invest in that for the quickness of removing the boxes and handles.
Just bought into this system. This is my first (and only) mobile tool storage system as I was holding out forever to evaluate all of the options on the market. I committed to Toughbuilt Stack Tech for all the reasons mentioned in this video and couldn't be happier. The accessories and build quality are amazing. And competitively priced at that! Great review 👍🏼!!
