Thanks Matt! Coming from Packout im impressed with the quality of the Flex. I’ll tell you Flex need to keep expanding the selection of boxes to stay competitive because what I showed is almost the whole line. We didn’t get the fan and the charger mount and I think that’s it. Thanks as always for watching!
That is an incredibly clever and well-thought-out system!! Looks like they used the best plastics they could to construct these, and they've even devised a means to add accessories that they haven't even invented yet. If I had a need to cart my tools and supplies all over the place, this system would be ideal for me! I'm sure they're not cheap, though. Unless I was a contractor, I sure wouldn't buy this stuff just to tote tools to friend's and family's homes. But I'm really impressed! That is truly THE BEST product/system I've ever seen designed for what it does-- and very forward-thinking. Thanks, Mike, for sharing this with us, using your typical coherent and comprehensive style! I'm equally impressed with your presentation as I am with this awesome product!
I went to Home Depot the earlier this week and bought a new set of Dewalt ToughSystem toolbox's to replace my TSTAK. After I left, I stopped off at Lowe's just to look around, and that's when I saw the Flex Stack Pack. I got in my car, drove back to Home Depot, and returned the Dewalt box's immediately. When I came back to Lowe's, a sales guy told me Flex is extending their lifetime warranty on power tools and batteries to the end of 2024. I hadn't even really heard of Flex before, but that lifetime warranty was enough for me to put my dewalt tools on craigslist and switch over to Flex.
I have a medical condition known as Flex-envy, which for some reason you, sir, see fit to continuously exacerbate. You have a great eye for detail, Mike. Excellent review. 👍
It gets crazy heavy fast or maybe I’m just getting old. I walked a quarter block with 3 packouts loaded with copper fittings yesterday and was impressed how heavy it was. Beats making 2 trips though. Thanks for watching!
I find that stacking at or above the handle on the cart interferes with pulling the cart. I can’t put knuckles facing the stackables or else it tears up my knuckles so I have to put palm towards stackables. No the way one would actually pull the cart and not comfortable that way ! Time will tell how much weight is too much for the pull handle for the cart will bear. I personally can’t imaging it holding up even without any outside attachments. But other than that , what a great idea and room saver.
The resemblance between Stack Pack (and the charger) to DeWalt TS/TS 2.0 is undeniable. Flex was clearly influenced by the DeWalt equivalents though they've taken the system to a whole new level. This is what ToughSystem 2.0 should have been IMO. Stack Pack drawers, including the rolling unit, are what would interest me the most with this system.
I had to jump through hoops with them to get a belt clip that was missing from the box lol. The Flex Stack Pack looks good to me. I do think the latch system for the Packout is better. In the end without a crate, and drawers it's a hard pass on all the stacking and unstacking. I'd like to be able to buy their empty bit holders. I've got tons of bits, but think their bit holders just look functional.
@bauerdad yeah, I've seen the drawers. They look pretty good. I'm skeptical of their locking system for the drawers. Not of the effectiveness, but more just being an extra step in the work van. Drawers should be secured for transport. Separating off the box is just begging to be misplaced as well when you have a couple of people working out of a cargo van. I'm not in the market, though. I rebuilt my primary Packout stack last year with the Packout drawers. All these interlocking box systems have pros and cons, but there are a bunch of options out there for the consumer.
The drawers are sweet! Just picked mine up yesterday. It was tough to choose between packout, stack pack, and mod box. But I’m super happy going with Flex. I had a preconceived notion I was going to pick up a mod box, but after messing around with all the flex options it was a no brained for me. I still really like Klein though
@@dangeravila1 I had a Flex delivered to me from Lowes. I returned it right away. It arrived with actual gouge’s missing from the handle. The latch system is flimsy cheap plastic. I’ve had a packout for the last 5 years and still looks and works great.
The flex stack seems to be the best middle ground set of boxes...mid-high end for home diy non-pro. I don't have klein/Milwaukee/Dewalt money, but I'm not so hard up I need to choose the hart stackable... I like kobalt, but not expandable. I guess craftsman/rigid is ok, but lowes is closer to me
Sooo, how do you get to your tools ? You have to unstack them. I looked at them, looked well made but i was thinking would buy the drawers. I was shocked how much the drawers weighed. I passed ....
I’ve been really impressed with everything Flex has sent me so far. Can’t wait to check out the compact tools and stacked batteries! Thanks for watching Gregory!
@@bauerdad dude you are correct, I literally just picked up the three drawer today which puts my Stack Pack up to 8 total. Dude the the three drawer is 3 1/2" taller. The FLEX is even better than the Stack Teck.
Mike, you need any help? This kind of stuff makes me wish, even more, that I were still in the field. Hey man, you can fit all those tools in there, but an old man like me couldn't pick it up and put in the truck anymore. Nice job, as always.
I know Meat. We didn’t have this stuff when I was on the job either. Used to carefully walk through beautiful north shore homes loaded to the gills with tool bags. Don’t feel bad I had to unload that big one to pick it up. Bad back won’t let me do it lately. Thanks for watching as always! Ps don’t forget to comment on Tues Aug 15 vid. Got some good stuff to giveaway!
They are hanging from the rafter hooks attached to the tools and the drills belt clip. The metal rails are an accessory and can be bought where Stack Pack boxes are sold. Thanks for watching Gordon!
i've never seeen you gush over a product like this before lol. yours are the only reviews i trust.

The absolute best set up on the whole planet Earth. FLEX is the best return it comes to the tool organization
I’m more impressed than I expected going into this one. Looking forward to checking out more storage options in the future!

It looks great when its empty, can't imagine how to pull that around fully packed. it's a nice setup non the less...

awesome review. Thank you. I was looking at this same set up at Lowe’s. I’m going to get one now that I’ve watched your review. Thanks again
Outstanding video. One of the best product reviews I’ve watched on YT! Subscribed!!

I agree they need to expand the line and drawers is where I’d start. What I need is always in the bottom box. Thanks for watching!
Crates and drawers are out now. And a bunch of other stuff.

Im glad FLEX is working with you Projects. They really are a good brand.
I agree! I’ve been very happy with everything I’ve tested so far. Looking forward to checking out more FLEX tools. Thanks for watching!
I would love to see a comparison between these and the Milwaukee Packout since they are similar in price..
That’s a video we may do in the future. I’d like to check out some other brands too. Thanks for watching!
Build quality is nowhere near the packout quality. This thing will not last the journey.
@sodvs7062 it feels way more sturdy than the packout

Gran video, spiegato bene tutto sui box flex. Complimenti.

They’ve added boxes with drawers and front opening cabinets since this vid too. I still think this is a great option. Thanks for watching!
Can you fit a circular saw in it from the front to back or do you have to turn the saw ?
Im a huge fan of the Flex stack pack as well.
Looks better then the Big Red brand in my opinion. Thanks Mike .
Thanks for watching William!

I am a fanatic when it comes to FLEX all my tools are FLEX where possible however the stackpack compared to the PACKOUT I personally like Drawers
Flex has drawers now. And they are better than Packout’s drawers.

Great video and very versatile boxes
Thanks for watching Ashley!
Thank you for your help. Very good video 🙏🙏🙏
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
30 minute charge time for 4 batteries is amazing. Battery technology is crazy these days.
I have one and cannot imagine how i was without it
Can you charge dewalt batteries with this packout charging system?
I actually don’t have a DeWALT to check but educated guess is No. Thanks for watching!
Thats my guess too. Just makes it hard to buy entire packout system to only have to convert to flex tools when I have so many dewalt already
Great review thank you
Thanks for watching!

@@ProjectsForAllReviews You know that I'm going to be there.
😂👍
I'm surprised the standoffs and rails use screws instead of just snapping on.
Another great video Mike 😊
Thank you Michael!!
I'm a big Flex fan Almost own all the tools
Thanks for watching!
Where did you get the hooks for the tools on side of boxes?
They are hanging from the rafter hooks attached to the tools and the drills belt clip. The metal rails are an accessory and can be bought where Stack Pack boxes are sold. Thanks for watching Gordon!
This seems to be better thought out than milwaukee 😢
Hoping mine gets here today
Good luck with the new boxes! Thanks for watching!
It's a lot of tool, but it stores alot of stuff!
Do you still use these flex boxes?
I do. No failures and still like new. Thanks for watching!
@@ProjectsForAllReviews do you have a discount code or something like that if I wanted to purchase a nice setup?
YOU DID NOT TELL US HOW MUCH THE WHOLE SET-UP WEIGHTS..?..
Best money investment I have ever made 😅
You know you should be doing voice overs
Thanks David! I’m still wait for my big break!
Damn! How many 7 1/4 circular saws do y'all carpenters need? 🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️😳🤔
That's an awful lot of plastic that is going to end up in a landfill sooner than later.
use heftys orange bag (recycle pgm) and it'll get turned into a bench...
