I watched the video from Area Diesel Service and it was outstanding. They had nothing but good things to say about C&C Equipment. Two outstanding firms! 👍😎
I truly wonder how many people know how much is involved in making a video seem fun to watch as to watching every minute of stuff done. Tucker is playing his safe card to not hurt the forklift or anyone close to it. Time is a valuable thing for someone learning
I have to comment on your Fathering/boss skills. You have blessed your boys with every kind of skill they will need for a good life. Kevin is a king. He will be a wonderful husband and Father ( which is harder than the work he does at the shop) if he treats them with the patience and sense of humor he uses on his engines and machines. You are blessed.
I buy, sell and work on Military Diesel Generators as a hobby and its always so interesting to find what has been done, right or wrong or whats missing or spare parts that come along that do not even belong to that equipment. Can't imagine tearing into a Dozer this is so exciting.
Well...congratulations you painted a rebuilt motor. It looks great, like you spent your time and heart rebuilding it. Now if you would just cut an emblem on your water table of your C&C logo to attach to the grill it would look really custom. Call it a signature of your hard work, like the custom shops do. Imagine being somewhere in a few looking at a dozer hard at work and there it is...your logo. Last longer than a sticker...probably cheaper to put out, last longer Nice looking job Kevin on the paint work👍👍
Andrew Camarata swears by his 2-way radio headsets. You can talk in a normal speaking voice, and communicate easily with the person with the other headset. They would be perfect in a situation like where you were guiding Tucker with the hoop hanging from the forklift.
Back in the late 60s I bought a surplus Checker 8-door airport vehicle for $75 for a small church. The cab had a new engine, interior, and AF blue paint and was in top-notch shape. When they got it back together, some airman decided the clutch needed to slip while he drove it. The Gov. bean counters decided that the clutch repair cost would put it over the set "Do not repair amount" so it was declared surplus. The preacher drove me to the airbase, where a clutch adjustment made it driveable and we brought it back about 200 miles. A local parts store donated a new clutch and it took about 3 hours to make the repair. It was used for a couple of years and then the need for a bigger church customer carrier meant it got donated to somewhere that needed a Checker 8-door. One other time I bid a buck for 50 some bedpan washers and got them. Also got some neat ammo boxes and stuff that sold for enough to pay for everything including picking them and some other auction items up plus some pocket change. The bedpan washers made great sprinklers and gag gifts. My suspicion is that was the same place you snag some of your stuff from today. Kevin could have used one of those bedpan washers as a Nitros sprayer so his Camino engine and body pieces would be coming down in pieces over 10 counties.
Most people don’t understand the coordination it takes between operators to unload a piece of equipment like that, you have to have trust in each other not to panic, and someone else to watch and guide the unloading. Welcome to my world guys!
I'm in Australia and the army here sometimes sells stuff , virtually new and unused . Other times old and unused , lately unimogs 30 years old as low as 500km
I am finding this series very interesting, to me, we are literally seeing a dozer reconstructed from basically ground up, that is something I could really get into. Nice job gentlemen, enjoying this series immensely.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. It will be a sad day whenever the military has sold you all their abused equipment and have nothing more for you to put back together. Wishing you and your family the best.
If I was to buy an Ex military 850J this would be the one to buy knowing you have been threw it from top to bottom. Can't waiting to see this running. Good video guys.
"You don't need ta worry aboot the chopper blades!" Hahaha, I love how my favorite RUclips channel is a low key favorite of all my other favorite channels!
Hello My Friends over there At C&C Equipment and I'll tell you One thing for sure that Kevin can really do a great paint job on anything that he is Painting and making everything look as good as Brand New !
It truly amazes me at how much knowledge y'all have working on these things. I believe if you had 20 gallons of donkey manure two rolls of #12 /3 wire ten rubber hoses and some tracks y'all could make a dozer in two months😆😆. I can hardly wait to see the next video. Keep it up.
Oh , you want to talk about broken forks, I have broken two set’s of forks, I finally had to get a big set of forks, 3 inches thick and 6 inches wide, 5 feet long, round eyelet, lol , no more problem now, , ,BigAl California thanks
Hello CLINT hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, this is obviously quite some time ago as I doubt you are still operating with the doors up and in shorts and no warm clothing. Its more likely 🥶🥶🥶🥶 over there now. Been very wet here but getting quite warm in QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA. This channel is in my Top Five USA channels. Cheers mate 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Love watching your videos. Great bunch of guys doing great work and having fun at the same time. I retired 3 years ago from FedEx. I worked in vehicle and gse maintenance for 22 years. Right before I left, things were changing. It wasn't like it was when I first started. New upper management coming in changing things and some customers complaining and employees. Love watching the rebuilt overhaul. Thanks for the video
Great series going on this 850J. The fork lifts work nicely for your shop. I was used to working with overhead cranes but sometimes we had to supplement jobs with the fork lifts with the same type of lifting arms. Purty dern cool to watch🧐
I love watching these tupe of videos. I am amazed at the knowledge that ypu guys have in putting these tractors back together. Looking forward to the next video.
Hey Guys the unloading and then cab removal was one of the smoothest operations I have seen in a long long time, well done. Love your channel. Cheers Peter - Melbourne Australia
Didn’t get to see Randy, only his handy work. Would like to see Tucker build a 5 ton Gantry Crane at the new shop. Seems like you could use one. Kevin would have a swing on it, at least you’d know where he was at.
It's absolutely incredible you actually bought that fleet of struggle bus issues loaded monstrosity Clint. You deserve a huge atta boy for taking on this one. In the end I hope you make a healthy profit when it sells. Whoever buys it is going to be getting a super rebuilt highly reliable tractor.
I have little to no doubt that the engine will start-up ok, and run just fine, I also have very little doubt that Clint can build one of those engines blindfolded,😎👌, awesome video guys, I can't wait to hear it run, and thanks for sharing also.😉👍
Loving all the great content! Noticed that fuel tank hasn't had a cap on it since it came off the trailer. No water in it, rust, etc? You've sure cleaned out a few nasty ones in the past!
That harness looks like a bargain compared to the prices you mention for some other stuff! The $4000 cab computor module, cant remember its proper name but i bet my $100 cellphone has more computing power tham those things lol Enjoy your videos as always!
You have to put your detective hat on with parts queens like this, trying to figure out who did what and why so there are no surprises. I love the fact that what you guys do have is basically a new machine. Once it's done, someone is going to have a great dozer that they'll get years of reliable service out of. I always need to remind myself after watching your videos that I have absolutely no use for a former military piece of heavy equipment because now I want one, haha.
@@mrsclinton Your channel is great. You have fun and you get to mess with the crew. Also fun to read all the hate people give Mr. C and other for stupid things where they are just having fun messing with you. See you give us the up-to-date stuff but by the time we get to see Mr. C we forget about it, so it is win win LOL
I just heard you say $3300 for that small wiring harness hopefully you got this thing one step above scrap weight so if scrap weight is $17/1000 pounds you paid no more than $18 for 1000 pounds of weight
Freaking awesome video clint, will u please do a video sometime on ur background, how you started working on equipment an when u got ur business started please, ur knowledge of diesel engines an equipment is on point, thanks for sharing 🇺🇲👍💪✊🤙
Clint show us some of the prep work that you do for painting your machines. Like sanding and covering things like that. I always have a hard time making paint look good on our machines
Awesome job getting a great start to this massive project. Great content seeing you guys throw your mojo at these monster dozers. Appreciate you taking us along on this amazing project 😎👨🔧🧰🛠️🇺🇲😇🚜
Been waiting for you guys to rip into this one bro, gunna have some good videos on it I am picking and off to a good start too. Safe travels y'all. Ken.

C & C equipment 100 % awesome channel
You can learn lot from this channel 😊😊
...That's right !!!...😄...
I learn a lot of stuff that I will have the need to know but I enjoy learning anything mechanical.

I rewired a Cat grader back in the 80's ... that new shit looks scarry , I defiantly admire your work.

It is amazing how much Mr C&C knows from memory on putting this one back together. Such a blast to watch!!!

So great to see you all putting the military surplus back into service.
Good thing these military items come with preinstalled lift points
Whoever wrapped that turbo up to send to ADC needs to give lessons to Matt at Diesel Creek on packaging & shipping 😂
Oh you know it. 😊😊😊
DP as well.
I was thinking the same thing.

Great job Clint and Kevin and Tucker and Randy great video
Masterful unloading of the thing! Can't believe how much that heavy duty fork lift can handle without tipping over.

tuesday would be boring without clint, sausage fingers and the rest of the team...
Sausage fingers Kevin. 😊
Sausage fingers or kindergarten Kevin not aloud to play with sharp objects.
Kevin's nickname should be Lil' Smokies. I suffer from the same affliction. 😏
13:45 almost a brand new factory one Clint? Come on you know the factory couldn’t compete with the quality you guys put out.
the knowledge you and your staff has is fabulous. Thanks for the great content.
Well done guys. And for those recommending an overhead crane a forklift has more moves for adjustment.

I was a mechanic in the Military Heavy equipment USMC, we had to canabilize some poor peice of equipment to get parts and get them off the dead line .
This is my Fav YT channel.
I haven't seen Kevin hit anything with his purse or his handbag lately.
Might have to fix that Clint.

Outstanding job guys thanks
Great video Guys, very interesting, looking forward to the first start up. All the best from the UK
19:25 Aw dang, I was hoping for some epic clag clag clag noises from Mr. C :)
You know Kevin would have obliged us with engine and T-rex sounds!
❤❤❤ Kevin didn't like that comment about his grandma being slow @ 30:23 in the video. 😂😂😂
Like the repaint chiping off by that valve off the rust fine prep work
Well , if people were subbed to Mrs. C&C channel, they would have had an early sneak peek at HER driving that J with no cab i think!!
Clint all I can say is excellent
Awesome job getting a great start to this massive project. Great content seeing you guys throw your mojo at these monster dozers. Appreciate you taking us along on this amazing project 😎👨🔧🧰🛠️🇺🇲😇🚜

Kevin is like the Aaron of C&C Equipment. Tucker is a close second.
I totally enjoy the videos that you and Dino arms put out. Kevin is a whale of a painter
