UPDATE 7/19/2024: The blower motor on this unit has been replaced and the wiring was corrected.

UPDATE 7/17/2024: The chopper on this Thunderbolt has been repaired.

UPDATE 9/7/2024: This siren's rotator has been fixed.

UPDATE May 2024: This siren has been unfortunately replaced by a Whelen Vortex.

Nice bolt but you gotta realize that ur on GROUND level not at HORN level to get an ACTUAL DB reading . Noone ever will unless there in a bucket truck 50 ft up or at level with the horn exactly 100 feet away

Considering that most 4/5 choppers were produced in the 50s.. and that the 4/5’s in Clermont County came from Cincinnati, it doesn’t surprise me at all to see these start to shown signs of wear. Either way, hope it gets fixed up, doesn’t sound terrible just yet.
