Other notes: For the first Wednesday this past month, we ended up returning to Pond Run, this time with Benicio. We were originally gonna do something else, but Benicio didn't have a ride and he was really wanting to hear this thing, and since it was a very nice clear and calm day, we figured we might as well get better videos of it. This time, I decided to take a gamble and set up pretty close to it-right behind Crooked Creek Lane since it was more sunlit from there, and thankfully no vehicles came during the test, so it paid off! I could definitely feel the sound pressure from this more than I did last time, and it was extremely loud, just as I had remembered. My meter(s) got up to 117.8 dBA and 117.2 dBA from standing on the incline on Crooked Creek Lane while Connor's maxed at 122.3 dBC from roughly the same spot. It overloaded my CyberShot mic a pretty good bit every time the horn faced the camera, while my phone just barely managed to handle it. This time around, I'd say it probably felt slightly louder than the white 1000 in Paulding and Lakeport. It easily makes my top 15 loudest Thunderbolts I've been to, if not my top 10. I was originally going to use my CyberShot footage of this since I really liked the colors from it, but I framed the siren better on the PowerShot, so I decided to use that footage for the tight shot but change the colors to make it look as close to the Sony as I could during editing. The horn does come kinda close to the top on the wide shot, but it doesn't actually cut out thankfully. Overall, I really like how this video looks, and I hope you all do as well. Enjoy!
