- This siren was installed around 2012 as a refurbished unit in Massie Township, Ohio. This siren apparently suffered some chopper issues as the chopper was replaced and now it's a 4/5 port, where it used to be a 5/6 port. It now has a deeper pitch than what it used to. This siren is located at the corner of Oregonia and Jeffery Roads in Warren County.
Dang! This one sounds EXACTLY like the 4/5 port Thunderbolt in Fostoria! Awesome video! I might check this one out at some point.
It's quite a coincidence. They have the same chopper level, port ratio, blower type, rotator RPM, and AGASTAT delay.
Dang! Fostoria's low 4/5 port thunderbolt has a rival now! Awesome Video!! 👍
NICE! This is on par with Fostoria for the lowest pitched 4/5 unit.
Glad it worked for you. i drove over four and a half hours for crickets :(
Nice video! This one is running on 240 volts single phase. I went out to this one and got pictures of it and the service switch. It makes sense that this one is single phase, since it's out in the middle of nowhere. It probably wouldn't be feasible to run 3 phase 240 out there.
this is a solid tape, Josh!
Thank you!!!
Wow! Another Level 2 4/5! Fostoria's Now Has A Rival.. In The Same State....
MadisonCountySirens lol. I live in ohio lucas county to be exact

@@TylersSirensandEAS no one cares
@@CentralOHSirens :(
is it still active?
in Lucas, the oldest siren we have is a 2T22.
I'd love to see a thunderbolt in action, in the flesh!
sirendoodles you live in Lucas county Ohio?
@@TylersSirensandEAS mhm.
what the port of the thunderbolt
Hey I saw this today and heard it too. Sounded like a 5m. My poor little Mazda was sitting across the street at the fishing and corner store and let me tell you it got rattled.
Thunderbolt 1000 4/5 port
This siren is like 15 minutes away from my house!
Wow awesome!
is that thing hanging out
Am I hearing a 2001 in the background?
I thought so too
I don't believe so. Waynesville has one, but it wasn't installed until 2019.
It may be the 1003. Harveysburg has one at their fire station 2 miles from this siren that's super high pitched.
Nice, Filming an srn in Mason tomorrow.
@@SWOhioSirens Cool, I am filming the srn on Butler Warren Road and Liberty way. It's the one behind that church.
Never thought I'd see a white Thunderbolt before, or is it gray?
It was originally yellow, but they repainted it before they reinstalled it.
sounds cool
I captured this siren yesterday, and the Blower isn't working now.
They fixed it! It's working great and rattles the heck out of the ground.
@@Videogamer52100 Yay!!
This one sounds exactly like mine.
Sounds like a smaller propeller airplane engine too me.
0:26 to skip ear rape tones
What is the difference between the 1000 and the 1000T?
@@SWOhioSirens dual toned Thunderbolts aren't always low pitch, it really depends on the chopper level
1000: single tone
1000t: dual tone, either 4/5 or 5/6 port.
