Other notes: On this nice but extremely windy Saturday in March, we went up to Gilboa with a few other enthusiasts to record this brand new 7V8 that was put up here the previous month to replace a Model 7 in this same spot that had been dead for a few years. This was Connor and I's first time hearing a proper AC Sentry sounding in attack, so that was cool. This was probably one of the quieter Sentries I've heard, as it didn't seem terribly loud, although it was still decently punchy. I ended up using my PowerShot footage for the main shot because the focus was much sharper than on my Sony footage. However, since my PowerShot was on a rather crappy tripod with a few missing parts, the footage was super shaky, even with image stabilization turned on. So I applied some extra stabilization to the video in post, which does seem to help. I also switched to my CyberShot footage for the zoom out and 360° pan portion since the shadows aren't as dark and the colors look a bit better. Enjoy!
