Hey therse 1 thing im not sure about hope any one here can help if my chracter started wiht a personalaty like lone wolfe and i lvld him too lets say 10 and then change his personalaty too lets say vamp do the stats move around or does it only influnces the future lvls? ^^

I think paragon is pretty dang good for warriors.

I disagree with the tip to not change your class more than once or twice. You only mentioned it in a text overlay. I'm not saying it's a GOOD idea... but if you put in the time and change a character's class a few times, their stats are going to be crazy high and they'll have access to tons of abilities. When I last played the GBC version, all three of my party members ended up being a Sage at least once. They had all the Sage spells. It was a little crazy. I also put a LOT of time into that save file. I used to grind levels idly while I did other stuff. I wouldn't advise it because of the time requirement, but also, if you want to, just go for it.

I went with LV 20 Thief -> Sage so I have a pretty speedy caster LV 37 Priest -> Warrior for the tanky healer. Since the Warrior is the slowest character, they can be used for healing, reviving, debuffs in the final turn. So it's like a safety after a boss does huge damage after the Sage + Martial Artist does their initial casting. My priest reached LV 37 before getting the final Orb (with some grinding ) LV 30ish Mage -> LV 37 Priest -> Martial Artist - speedy caster (w/o the best Mage spells but can still doe midrange AOE damange if required but can heal and buff, and debuff quickly). At this point the Martial Artist class change already happened right before jumping to the 2nd world. I waited LV 37 priest since that's when they learn Kazing

Thief (33) => Martial Artist (47) => Merchant (36) => Monster Wrangler (44) => Warrior (48) => Gadabout (45) => Sage

I made everyone Vamp because I plan on having everyone go through 3 classes and finish on Warrior / MA

Maybe some of the gadabout abilities!i used whistle a whole lot for metal slime grinding, and i also heard about the spell boost ability it gets, although i haven't actually gotten that one yet

Heya bud, Wildwide is insanely broken. I just used it on a warrior with monster pile on. Baramos was taking 900+ damage each activation.. 🤣 He used blasto on my hero super early so I was fighting with three characters. A sage(priest), monster wrangler(thief), warrior (monster wrangler). Between them he was taking over 2000+ damage each turn.. 🤦‍♂️

When you say you go from merchant -> thief -> monster wrangler, how many levels would you recommend to stay at the thief/warrior class before switching again?

Mage gets a spell around 36. It turns you into a dragon and the next turn fire attacks all, including metal slimes. Very useful for exp grinding.

About wildside, its effect can stack with the duplic hat Duplic hat is a rare headgear that echoes a spell cast...meaning if you used wild side with a duplic hat equipped, *you can cast the same spell up to 4 times in a turn* Watch your MP

I love Service Call but dang it if it dont suck to get Item Shop/Church 6 times in a row, running out of MP when you want an Inn lol. It's the equivalent of Tempering in Diablo 4; Good when you get what you want. Animal Instinct, Nose for Treasure, Snoop, Padfoot, and Tick Tock are great to cut down a lot of the guess work and grind most of the game. And Puff will guarantee dead metal slimes if they stick around the 1, 2 turns for mage characters.

Have wildside on all my characters you can just get 50 monsters(don't need a wrangler to do that) lvl wrangler to 20, you learn wild side and monster pile on on that first battle then just switch to what you want unless you want CCC cold,(i never lvled wrangler to 48 yet,so,not sure how good that is.

My thief stole one from the flying monkeys in the desert 😮

Something I always loved about the game, right from the original was the ability to experiment with these different class combos. Of course back then we didn't have the net to make things easy, so we had to do some math to figure out some of the better choices. DQ3 is my fav because it introduced this kind of thing and made the game so versatile! That and the similarity to the real world map + the lore of it all. This game is AAA+++ :D Have fun everyone!

Besides the hero I ended up picking all appearance B's because I thought the sprite designs were better. This has worked out nicely for me.

I still haven't understood class changing. Do i keep my stats? Do i keep my abilities? Can i class change indefinitely?

RE: Gender. Back in the NES days, there was some dialogue implying a female MC was posing as a guy, Eowyn style. But I only recall one female-specific gear that was good enough to change my playstyle, the magic bikini armour. This was the only mid-high level armour a fighter/martial artist could wear, helped make them less vulnerable in late-game. Changing your default sprite to a bikini-clad chick was also a nice touch :)

I've been waiting and waiting for my bodybuilder priest to get Kazing before going to Warrior. Imagine my disappointment when I finally hit level 38 and it didn't happen. Still trying for 39, hopefully it's no higher than that

With sevice call it sounds like you can stay inside a dungeon indefinitely since you can use it to heal your whole party and recover MP.

Is Vamp/Sexy personality still exclusive to Female characters or did they change that? Oops, sorry. I mean Type B...

Something I forgot to mention, dont expect crazy levels of damage from call to arms. Its just a fun addition to the list. Although I wonder how much damage it does at level 99 if you have the money.

The funny thing is in reality as long as you are willing to grind you can just do everything. The only thing that is ultimately true is if you want this character to be a caster.... make them a sage at the end, period. I will say if you want to make a "fast XYZ" it is better to start as a thief then transfer to the thing, then start as something else then transfer thief. Also Gaddabout is insanely fast to level, it takes like 1.5 hours tops to get one to 20 and that's assuming you just go to the top floor of the tower north of alltrades. Imagine if we you wait until later in the game? You can get to 20 in like sub 1 hour.

I always use all my seeds on myself. Idk if that's a bad idea but I do that in every rpg. Just give extra stats to myself lol
